Jackelony: Hi Guys, I'm thrilled by the vital information exchange that goes on here. It's very much appreciated. God bless all of our resource persons.
Fam, pls I have a question. I'm in the process of getting Skills Assessment for Information Sec with ACS and it seems like a few of their policies have changed. Now applicants are warned to upload only coloured scanned copies of original documents and no mention of notarized copies. Infact they said that they don't want certified true copies.
I mean, it's a bit contrasting to all the talk of notarised copies that people have been talking about here. Do you think I should proceed to submit my coloured scanned documents or I should notarize the the photocopies and upload? A lso, does processing a student visa alongside PR present any issues for the applicant?
Our Gurus, please over to you. Thank you. The information here have dates on them to give you an idea of when they were posted. For ACS, changes have been made, so you should go with the information on their website. Which occupation are you assessing and do you have a degree in Computer science? It may if you submit both visa applications together as the student visa may be refused being that it will not fulfil the terms of wanting to return back to home country. However, there is no issue if you are just in the process (assessment and EOIs) and haven’t applied for any skilled visa yet. |

These days, most invitees are Phd holders with outstanding international publications in the GTI fields of interest |

FreshBoss007: GOod evening all,
Please when making an EOI, Can one apply for a visa class 189,190 and 491 at once?
I saw the option while filling the form, @Bellong and tunlex Yes but only choose one state per EOI You should also create multiple EOIs for the states you are targeting/nominating your occupation |

Please I kindly want to confirm something for the employer template required for TRA assessment. Where I previously worked, my line manager has left the company and working in some other company. Can he still fill the template considering he longer works where he was my line manager or it must be a someone from my previous place of work presently working there that will be responsible for the filling?
Thanks. Yes he can; he can also add that he is no longer with the organisation but was your manager at the time he was there |

kadiens: Hi guys! I have read through many pages (kudos to all who have been answering questions) but i am still skeptical about my eligibility even after filling the point calculator which came out as 80. I have a BSc Accounting -2013 and I have worked as an Accountant for 6 years. My IELTS band is 8. I am single and 32 years of age. I have ICAN but this being a Nigerian certification, I am willing to go for CIMA if this will help with my assessment. Or will just my BSc and ICAN be sufficient? My fear is; fund is limited, so of course I would like to put it to best use. Thank you in anticipation. Sincerely, chances are very slim for offshore accountants. Even accountants onshore at the moment are finding it hard to get a nomination. I'm not one to discourage, but for now, I don't think Accountants outside Australia has a chance of being nominated except you are able to get up to 105 points for 189. |

ozijay: What I NOTICED about this misleading thread is too much criticism and unwavering gesture to lay verdict on peoples attempt to travel calling everything FAKE FAKE FAKE howbeit no-one has been able to SHOW to you the REAL VISA, OR REAL WORK PERMIT E-VISA. I have an inlaw in NEWZEALAND and some of what you deemed to be FAKE here are actually real. If you can't present to anyone proof of what you supposedly call original travel documents pls just sht up. I’m sorry I won’t do that again You are the one requesting for confirmation but you want me to show you a real visa so other scammers on the thread can use that same format to defraud unsuspecting public! I’m not going to fall for that! Any information you need, you can ask your in-law or call the country’s immigration department directly. |

How can someone know Australia visa process by a sponsored company is genuine? Pls someone should help The company should email DHA to check what's wrong. Check the company's profile online and call them. Also, it's very tricky that one would get a job outside of the country at this time. However, they said they’ll attend to all pending 489 cases before scrapping it off entirely. That's a relief! All pending 489 will be processed. |

whatx: Please assist, I am a chartered accountant in Nigeria who fall out from the canada competitive PR system due to age (36), but still have valid documentations such as POF, IELTS, etc. Now I intend to go the Australian route and will need guides to what is required, especially in verifying my accounting qualification and work experience. Also which body is in charge of this function for accountants.
Please help my condition.
Thanks You will need to read the first few pages of this thread and go through the Anzsco website. Sincerely, Canada is still your option cos offshore accountants is a long shot in Australia as the country has more than enough Graduates waiting to be nominated for that same occupation. Not to discourage you, but if you intend to go ahead with it, brace up for the long wait. There are many people here who have been waiting since 2018 and have not gotten ITA. My advise, if you have the funds, go for it and see what the new financial year in July has for migrants |

Smile4mee01: Guys I need advice.
I am already in Victoria, Australia on a student VISA. However my study is not on the skilled list, and i am reluctant to change course to health or nursing as i have no passion for it. I am 36, a very Single Male. People tell me to either marry or consider the Skilled list option.
I have Bsc. Mathematics & Statistics, UNILAG 2008 and worked in Banking in Nigeria for 6yrs & 2 yrs before coming here. I worked in branch operations and not related to my Course. Now Mathematics & Stats is on the skilled list, but how do i sort out the work experience to help my course.
I will be happy is anyone can help. Thank you This should have been thought through before applying to any course from Nigeria If your aim is to get PR or work visa after your studies, then your best bet is to only study a course or related one to occupations listed on the Occupation list or marry like they suggested or you plan to come back after your studies. There are no two ways about it. Vetassess cannot assess you without at least 1 year experience as a Mathematician. |
