People should take time to listen to PTB message in full any pastor or MOG that still keep quiet despite the continuos plundering of our commonwealth by few rogues in power but find it convenient to acquire private jet and leave flamboyantly is a FAKE MOG.

The revolution will start in the church and mosques, if these religion leaders continue to stay mute because of the patronage they get from Abuja, God wrath will soon come on all of them.
Sentisizing their members to know their rights and to call their leaders to account is part of the duties of these MOG but as it is none of them is doing it.

bankylan: ......I hope Seun Osewa will be sensitive enough and try to do something about people saying negative things about ordained men of God.

He provides this platform, and I hope he will not be held accountable. I wouldn't know how much success he has achieved, but I am sure he still has a long way to go..but for having this platform, I really respect him and I give kudos to him.

But if he does not want this platform to be stagnant or lose its worth, I strongly believe he has to censor what is posted on this site especially as regards men of God.

He has the traffic, but I am wondering if someone like me will ever want to put my advert on nairaland given my perception of the caliber of people that often visit this site. I don't see them as potential buyers!!!

You want to see comments that are not subjective, deep, and intelligent, but it seems the majority of the visitors are unemployed and frustrated folks. There are few people with intelligent comments, and I am sure some of them will have my reservations.

But my fear is if Seun is a Christian by faith or by religion. If it is later, then I won't expect any change or his 'thank you' for my comments.

Rubbish!

You must have a very high opinion of yourself to imply that I commented on this thread because you did? Whatever you are smoking/sniffing, I want none of it.

I stopped responding to you a long time ago; I have no time to waste with deceitful folks. All of your 15 seconds of posting in this section is limited to 'I am Yoruba' and 'Yoruba are wicked to Igbo' statements.

If you make a post/statement that demands a response from me, I will make it. I can debate with those more knowledgeable than you.

In any case what has my quoting Okunoba's post go to do with you? Is Uwechie your father or is Uwechie claiming to be Yoruba?

Exactly!he thinks he's Yoruba just because he was born in Yorubaland and have priviledge to speak Yoruba language

Several times you've be shouting on many threads that you're Yoruba and your lies have been exposed on several threads to proof that you're a flat headed Igbo. If you are normal why will you keep shouting you're what you aren't? What about so many unprintable posts you've made against Yorubas or are you the Yoruba version of Osuji Thomas Ozuji?

Abegi read the message and leave the messenger, it doesn't matter if you like Osuji or not but many of the points he raised are valid and should be thought provoking. I don't know why Igbos keep making more enemies for themselves especially politically. Achebe's book will definitely do no good to the course of Igbos either socially or politically because it is full of lies, bitterness and distortion of facts.

I beg to disagree with you on this. Even as friends, we should all have a level of RESPECT for each other's things.

If I was to make a call in my friend's car, I will signal to my friend to help me reduce the volume/allow me reduce the volume of the radio if I feel it's too loud and disrupting my call.

I find it very rude for me to just reduce the volume without seeking his/her consent. Since I wouldn't want such done to me, I don't do such(Golden Rule)

If I was the one driving, I won't even wait for him/her to reduce it, once the call has been connected, I'll automatically reduce the radio volume; it's a reflex action for me.

From the op's tone & narration, I can tell the guy wasn't a friend; just an office colleague he gives a ride. If it was a friend, he might have no issue with it since there's a bond between them.

Exactly! Some people just lack basic courtesy and consideration for others.

Did they say "illegal aliens"? This is shocking! Wow, how can a citizen of Nigeria be an illegal alien in his fatherland? Ok, so what if during the course of the identification registration exercise, millions of unwanted aliens seized the opportunity to get registered and identified as bonafide lagosians? Yes, because they said "tourists" will issued identity cards too. So what if the okoros you guys so hate troop in en masse from the east to get registered eh?
Damn, so after the registration, what next? - mandatory uniforms for lagosians i guess.

And tourists too will be issued this card?

Judging by many of the post on this thread I can see that many Nigerians lack courtesy, someone gives you a lift and you believe you can frigging do what you like because 'its just a car' why not f****king walk or take a bus instead?
I've been given lift several times and I always make sure I do nothing to disrespect the car owner, making several phone calls and taking on top of your voice thereby disturbing the car owner or depriving him from enjoy his music (especially when I'm enjoying Obey's music) is not only insensitive it's f****king disrespectful.

http://mobile.saharareporters.com/news-page/group-warns-gov-ajimobi-against-yanking-down-splash-fm-radio-mast-oyo-state

The govt of Ajimobi is being exposed daily by the program called 'tifun tedo' I'll normally listen to this program on tunein radio app, if the governor has nothing to hide why planning to close splash FM?
18 months in government with practically NOTHING to show for it, posterity will judge all the present and past politicians who failed to do the right thing.
Politics / Re: Oyo, UK Firm Sign Agreement On Soya Milk Production by tunnytox(m): 8:18pm On Nov 09, 2012
ayinba1: There is nothing impressive about this. "Foreign/abroad"does not automatically translate to "better". The leadreship in Oyo state has really fallen short of expectations. This appears to be a desperate attempt to show that Ajimobi is doing something.

Is it the same Oyo state where wives of political office holders were sent on a wasteful trip abroad? What was that training for again?
Or the state government that sacked teachers because anyone whose records indicate that they may have graduated elementary school before the age of 10 was deemed fraudulent?

Please shocked
Aji se bi Oyo laari oo, nuff said.

Kama milk company is non existent per web searches. Mr Dipak was in media business for the past 20 years and just came into the food processing business in January 2012. This stinks to the high heavens.

UK residents, you can easily confirm if such a company is a UK firm. It is past time that we hold our leaders accountable!

I searched for the company now on company house website:
http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/f9d3268d3d95eb07881e807ff4fc6b9b/wcframe?name=accessCompanyInfo
AND FOUND NOTHING!
except the company uses a different trade name there is no such company called Kama milk industry in the UK.

I hold no brief for any political party but as an Oyo state indigene, I am earger to see developments in my state, enough of all these window dressing.
I was in Ibadan last month and to be honest there was no govt presence in terms of infrastructural developments and job creation. All i saw are few young men making nuisance of themselves in the name of enforcing traffic rules, apart from that there were some work going on on beautification of some roads like Ring Road but to be honest these beautification works are already being washed away by rain due to the low quality materials and possibly unqualified personnels being used. Also in the course of carrying out this 'beautification' the contractor is creating hazard everywhere by leaving concrete and building stuffs all around the major roads.

Gov Ajimobi need to wake up and wake up fast Oyo state youths need jobs and not unnecessary 'beautification', the authenticity of the so called Soya milk factory will be confirmed later, what I'm sure is that you can't cover smoke very soon we shall see whether this is another form of window dressing by oyo state govt.

I did my studies in uk and after graduation I didn't bother to stay behind and waste my life like some senseless folks are doing. Their is no place like naija. In the states I still think of settling down in naija, though usa is far better than that shiite of a place called uk. Guys, pack your things and face naija. No shame, you don try...

Good for you but the fact that you relocate back to Naija and becomes successful doesn't mean 'there's no place like Naija'. if it works for you fine but that doesn't mean it's going to work for others, many who stay behind are also doing well.

Tusky44: They beat Nigerian govt to it. This is a tax that should have been introduced by our govt to gain from the billions spent in the UK shops, supermarkets, and overpriced housing market.

At the exit port, travelers should be forced to pay like N50000 in "exit tax". Call it what you like but if you have money to throw in the UK, you can leave some behind for Nigeria. The trend should have been the reverse i.e. money from the UK to Nigeria and not this way.

Na bad belle dey worry you, do you think everyone travelling to UK do so for pleasure or shopping?
