lol your case is different? Yet your country is still one of the poorest in the world, your exchange rate is N500 to $1, you import toothpicks from China and you're busy fasting for a US visa. The problem isn't God or the bible, it is the gullibility of the average African who thinks life's problems are solved by how many religious slogans you can chant.

Yes your case is different... and your pastor is busy smiling all the way to the bank.

Have been following this thread for a while now . pls your advice is needed. Hubby and I with our little daughter wants to apply for visa though hubby applied last year in south africa stating he knew someone but this time around.he knew no one again cos the person has relocated. Pls hope it won't be an issue. Note, Daughe rand I have no travel history. Thanks
Was your husband denied when he applied last year? I doubt travel history has anything to do with your odds of getting the visa. Just be honest with the VO.

Please advice I was in the US for ten days the No aos, cos, eos annotation was put on my passport with a two weeks stay. it was my first time to the us the CBP officers delayed me for hours asked me tons and tons of questions which I answered to the best of my ability and some of the questions I fumbled though I was nervous anxious and intimidated by the CBP officers I tried my best to remain composed they made me sign a consent form for drugs testing which I signed willingly but the  test were not done and after calling my contact person in the us I was told I can go after changing the time I'm permitted to stay in the us from six months to two weeks with the annotation no aos, cos, eos, put my passport on my way back home I was questioned again (though other people too were questioned while we were boarding) as i was  told I could go the officer who put the annotation on my passport walked to my front and asked me where I went in the us which I answered and a few other questions when I answered he then smiled and said I could go that he will be expecting me back that he will be watching me when next I visit the us, to cut the long story short it was a horrible experience I left on the exact date my holiday ended I didn't over stay my question is if I decide to visit again will I have to go through the same horrifying  experience and what are the effects of the annotation on my next visit which is in a year or more than a year's time and lastly I have plans to visit Japan or the uk soon on an official trip from the office, will the annotation bar me from getting the visas to UK and japan?‎

Please advice accordingly all the gurus in the house thanks‎
Until i saw your post, i'd never even heard of the no AOS/COS/EOS stamp. I looked it up, from what i read, its a red flag that you're an immigration risk... but considering this was your first time to the US, i wonder why that was put in your passport.
Literature › Re: Jimmy Carter Got Me My Green Card, I Never Applied For It-soyinka by TWoods(m): 4:58am On Dec 06, 2016
MrPrsdent:
EXCUSE ME PLEASE....

1. Every ADULT who is granted a green card has to apply for one. Documents needs to be submitted, application needs to be filed and SIGNED BY THE APPLICANT/BENEFICIARY. Interviews take place ,either in the US or in the applicants' home country ,before permanent residency is granted. So NO ONE CAN GET A GREEN CARD FOR ANYONE. So if the Prof said Jimmy carter just went and got a green card for him. THAT"S A LIE.

2. Green Card is just a physical card representing your status of permanent residency in the U.S. If you tear it up or lose it, you can always get a replacement. It doesn't mean tearing it up is a loss of your permanent residency status. If the prof tore it up, he is still a permanent resident of the US and can always pay for a new card to be issued. Replacement cost is $365. Here is a US govt site where you apply for replacement green card. https://www.uscis.gov/i-90. BTW,there is no proof he ever tore it up.

3. The green card is mostly shown while entering the US from overseas. For day to day living in the US, you would seldom be asked to produce it. Because you will already have your social security number and state I.D/Driving licence. The state ID/social security links to your immigration status in the US,so the green card is not needed. That's what (I.D card/driving licence/SSN card) law enforcement or employers would ask you to show. So even if the Prof destroyed his green card, all he has to do is go to US immigration or US embassy overseas, present his Nigerian passport and they would check his details on the computer and fingerprints/photos, and stamp his passport with his green card details. That's all. He doesn't actually need the physical green card to enter or remain in the U.S.

4. The prof is most probably playing to the gallery. I'm sure he'd be back in the U.S within months. He's just traveling ,giving paid lectures and speeches overseas and pretending he's left the U.S once and for all.
Even if Carter got him the card, who has been renewing it for him? Jimmy Carter too?

That took me all of 3 minutes to find. I'm not sure how some of you scale through visa interviews. Any serious VO knows that all US colleges post the course offerings on the web. So not being able to "find them" is basically a demonstration of your own lack of preparedness.

Where those people with high GRE scores now? make una apply there jawe and make una come gist us about the school jawe
Those people typically know what they need to do or where to get the necessary information. They are less likely to be here asking silly questions like "how can i search for schools?", "who can give me a template for a TA application?", what schools do not require SAT/TOEFL?".

You will be denied again... it is pointless applying right away. Would be better if you waited another year then tried again. This time prepare as thoroughly as you can. A pattern of applications in quick succession and subsequent denials will simply show you as desperate.

lol most people don't realize how big New York state actually is. It takes about an hour to drive from Buffalo to Rochester and Rochester is at least 6 hours by road to NYC. Considering that trains are slower and will stop several times along the way, the 11 hour time makes sense.

Wow! I really feel for your husband. Marriage is about putting your spouse first... not about your convenience. Too many people trap unsuspecting spouses into loveless and miserable marriages. For your husband to be openly masturbating in bed - he is passing across a message but your arrogance and insensitivity to him keeps you from seeing it.

Wait. I don't even get u. Don't you touch your husband's dick and rub it as pre intimacy before making love? So what's the big deal? when u see him do it, be loving, tell him babe i am here and u dint even call me to me help u with that, Haba...and give him a sweet handjob. before u know it has moved into the real humping knacking of sex. No wonder there are so many married men cheating...women be more open or prostitutes who are outside would take care of your man...so u can't give ur man a Mouth Gig?...the bible said his body has become yours and yours his...so anything is accepted ma, even if you want to eat his shit...relax be open..have sex with him on the floor, in the kitchen, make it fun...even if you are fat and ugly and you spontaneous, he won't see that unattractive part, give him a hand job in the car on your way from an occasion one evening...or in the morning when he is going to work give him a Mouth Action...if he has a personal office at work...pay him a visit...lock the door tell him u where finking of him all day at work and need a 5 min quickie.
Be spontaneous
It's a shame Dt u r there n he is masturbating him self...Wat is your use...if his libido is high is one blowwjob per day too much to give the Man U claim to love if that's what makes him happy? Haba. He shldnt evn masturbate at all cus masturbation should be equal to u giving him a hand job.
My question is how do u even have sex with him because if his touching his dick is irritating u, I wonder then if u ever touch it as preintimacy or u suffer d poor guy
Christainity doesn't stop this Abeg all u over religious women
Safe your home please abeg
Be prayertizing what is not a problem. There are better things on God's table like hungry people n people with cancer
Better safe ur home before he starts visiting ashewo. Thank God he never start
Ur spontaneous acts shld b porn enuf Dt he won't evn remember it
Your husband is one fortunate soul.

This thread was long on every reason why Nigerian marriages are boring. We over spiritualize everything. He's married to you so he is free to masturbate on his bed. Him doing it is an indication that you're not doing your marital duties. I feel sorry for the poor guy. That's why it's imperative to discuss sexual preferences BEFORE marriage.

Please, do one start counting work experience after or before completion of study
Your likelihood of getting a visa to countries like the UK, USA, Canada is already severely limited.

One of the few things i regret not being able to do in Nigeria is the opportunity to travel for sightseeing. I find it odd that i know more about foreign countries than mine... but as always, you make do with what you can.

I caught the travel bug a few years ago and now make it a point to do at least 2-3 road trips every year. Fortunately, i also have a job that allows me the opportunity to make 1 or more free foreign trips a year... which helps. The goal is to use this as a photoblog of all my adventures.

Guy, no disrespect. You don't seem to know what you are saying o. While Google can help you in this matter, so many visitors have gone their way through marriage to becoming citizens in this same US. As a b1 holder, you are ineligible to adjust status. But when a b1 holder is married to a USC, he is considered as an immediate family member of the USC. So, he is allowed to adjust status if qualified and his overstay forgiven by the government. Many passed through the same process.
As i said, its not a quarrel. Give it a shot if you wish.

Your statement above about not been ineligible to adjust status to green card from b1 or B2 visa or overstayed visiting visa is totally false and the highest level of ignorant statement about the us immigration laws.

Plz let us learnt to say what we know to true and correct base on fact or not hearsay.
You are absolutely free to try. I do not require a visa so do not find it useful to argue with you... however you should note that a B1/B2 is NOT a dual intent visa (that is why the vast majority of folks allowed AOS in the us are H, L etc. visa holders - these visas are dual intent and you do not have to prove no motive to immigrate). Also note that the whole point of a visa interview is to get on record what the purpose of your use of the visa would be. Should you have been found to have lied about the purpose of your visa, you will not be able to adjust status.

With regard to overstaying your visa... again feel free to try, don't say you were not warned. Not sure why people bother to go through the hassle of being banned and having to deal with ineligibility waivers.

Having gone through the entire immigration process from B1/B2 to H to green card, i found your response rather amusing. But to each his own.

No. If you came in as a visitor B1/B2, you are automatically ineligible to adjust status to green card in the US. You must go back to your home country to do so. If you had overstayed your visa for >180 days, you would be ineligible for a green card anyway unless you apply for a waiver of inadmissibility. Its not totally impossible but its a long shot.
