Yea, some remote work needs a work permit...companies are afraid of penalties and fines, so they outsource the job recruitment to HR companies that can handle the paperwork/tax side. However, some don't know they won't be penalised if the work is given as a "contract" job and not the usual work with benefits.

Not just the poor even if you are rich anything can happen, Nigeria has no social contract. My uncle was earning 800k lost his job and his 3 kids are suffering in the village. No food to even eat. Anything can happen. If it's him alone, it's different the family can even raise money for him to go and hustle abroad but as he has 3 kids and a wife nobody wants to put hand there.

I do that a lot. It is very realistic...it is just lifestyle. For me, I don't drink smoke or womanise...saving more is the key...coz there are some things in life ehn...if you no get sense....suffer no good...hmmm...i sha don say my own...

If I earn 1m, I can't spend more than 120k monthly and I'm generous with it...

what i do mostly is to budget 10k per week...and we only have 4 weeks in a month...so...it is good for those who work from home sha...public transport, and home-cooked food...

When you earn more, you are likely to spend more. Earning over 1m and spending les than 10% doesn't sound realistic. Unless you are a female and have a supportive boyfriend or you live with a husband or parents.

You can quickly get a job in teaching...if you have someone who can work it for you into state or good schools with good pay.
