I sold
Agrowizard(com) for $500 few minutes ago..
Short story as usual, this particular name was almost sold for $175 early January, but the buyer failed to complete the transaction, instead of paying he tried lowering his amount to $150, I stubbornly disagree hence no deal, 3 weeks ago, a potential buyer emailed me of the asking price, quotes $1500, he was silent for 72 hours, I emailed him back to ask how far, he said the price is much that I should discount, I told him $750 for 12 hours, told me it is still much that what he can authorized from his end is $200, I told him no and he promised to get back after meeting with his people in 11 days time, on the 12th day, someone I guessed was him offer $200 for this offer, I declined that the least is $1000...
After 5 days, I was about messaging him to let's do $300, but sleep no gree me, I woke and I saw him offering to pay $350..sharpaly told him $750 or nothing, he countered and said he can't do more than $500, I changed bin and he paid within an hour.
Thanks

Wow, nice one! Congrats on the sale, bro.

Congrats, bro. More sales to you!

CornOak:
These responses are nice, to be honest. You are lucky not to have gotten the F word.

I have never got that and I pray I don't. The worst I have seen were persons who appeared to be irritated because I mailed them.

The response he posted was truly courteous and not in any way unusual. I do get such as well like all of us surely do.

BJ4REEL:
Lol... thanks, i added the extension to chrome successfully.

But when i login to my gmail and clicked on the streak icon, i get prompted to login to my google account and the below image is what i keep getting? what do you think?

Did you just login in to Gmail or you logged in to Google account first in Chrome and then access Gmail?

BJ4REEL:
Hey guys, does streak require VPN?

Their site doesn't go through, until I was doing something with VPN and I just decided to try again and it worked.

If I decide to off my VPN , I'm unable to access the site.

Wait o. Wetin you dey find go Streak's website? I don't get it. You only need Chrome and Gmail na

Simply log into your Google account in Chrome, open Gmail, and get the extension from the Chrome store. Se fini! Or am I forgetting something?

fasa199:
Neverbounce.com. I just discovered that I could get invalid emails away from my searches results to prevent invalid emails. Just try and see. Good luck.

You have to pay after 1,000 free verifications, though. And the price is not the cheapest although also not outrageous.

I came across the site towards the end of last week. I was looking for a tool that enables bulk email verification for free. The only one I found, Leopathu, did nada! I came upon Neverbounce when looking for a cheap, paid option instead.

I'm trying to cut the amount of time staring at screens while trying to outbound by all means. It's too much work that can be discouraging. Streak has helped in this regard to an extent for over two weeks now with its merge feature - I care less about tracking now.

micynute94:
Congrats bro.
Do you always add BIN price to your sales letter? Or ask them to quote their best offer?
Thanks

Bro, I don't think I have included prices for any of the domains I have done outbounding for this year. I last did that in 2019.

I simply place the price on the Dan landing page for a domain name and tell the same price to any lead that requests for it.

For this domain, I woke to a message from the buyer yesterday along with the notification of sale from Dan. He expressed interest in it and wanted to know how he could go about getting it. He apparently visited the domain via his browser when he didn't get a quick reply due to time difference and made the purchase.

I still received a message this morning from someone else who also wanted to know how he could get it.

DNSPro:
So how long did it take you to have it sold?

Congrats

I registered the domain name during the Dynadot $5.99 promo months ago. Normally, I wait until after 60 days to start outbounding. This one apparently got sold within hours of outbounding.

engrdayo91:
Bro please i need your help....i have domain name i registered five months ago and i will love to work with you.

Sorry, bro. I think you can get all the help you need here and on Namepros. I'm still struggling to even put all what I am learning to use at the moment.

Five months? If you knew how long I have been trying my hands on this thing and how long it took me to sell my first domain name, you go think say dem dey follow me from village. Even me sef don dey think say maybe that na the problem.

The set of names I have registered since December are actually just for an experiment to see if it's worthwhile to continue with this business. I decided to test new findings I made last year and I am adapting with inputs from people here.

I'm still learning from eggheads we have here, and those on NP once in a while, as I go.

I woke this morning to a notification of a $349 sale from Dan. I was like, "Thank God o." Somehow, CornOak got to know about the sale before me.

The name is in my signature. It was the same one I reported someone offering $20 for in the post quoted below yesterday.

I feel more motivated with this sale I no go lie.

For people like me who felt like giving up at one point or another, I wish you even bigger sales. We sef go report 4-digit sale someday and move on from there in Jesus' name.

More sales to all of us.

kainos76:
Not an expert so I stand to be corrected, I think from an SEO standpoint the lower the competition the easier for the site to be ranked in the search engines. Would be great if the experts can chime in.

May I say that it's neither here nor there.

What you pointed out was from the perspective of SEO generally, as you rightly indicated. That might only be relevant when you are trying to rank a blog or when you're not using long-tail keywords. High competition means there are more advertisers competing for that keyword, which is why websites and blogs will also target it.

For example, "cars" will be more competitive than "Boston cars." I don't think a business in Boston would consider cars.com totally unattractive if available. SEO guys will take care of the rest.

You can search Namepros to learn more. Here's is a thread you might start with: "AdWords competition vs. Global Monthly Searches" (add "Namepros" to that and search on Google; don't want to post a link because of bot or mods).

For those who might be interested, Dynadot is running a $2.99 .co promo through 12.

Yeah, it's $1 more expensive than the Epik offer. But who knows someone might need it - maybe like me.

CornOak:
Congratulations on the sale of this name. More to come.

Chuo! Baba, thanks! But let's wait until I get the money first. I don't count my chicks until they're hatched.

On your Flippa dashboard, by the left sidebar under the "Selling" section, goto "Domain Portfolio". You can add domains there. I think the domains would be displayed on your profile alone not publicly.

Sorry about the mix up.

Ok, thanks for the clarification.

Nezta43:
Know your Enduser

1.Don't get too excited until payment is made.
The sale has not taken place until you have received the money.

2. If the end-user tells you, "Let me discuss with my IT guy", that end-user is most likely gone forever.

3. Note the words he used when he send his offers and know when to counter and when you accept.
How about $200 ? isn't the same with I can pay $200 for the domain.

4. Asking you the price doesn't mean the are interested, some people are just curious but it also means the domain is valuable.

5. The more questions an end-user asks, the less probability there is he will buy your domain. Serious buyers rarely ask questions.

I agree with that most!

slimjosh43:
Marketing Agency Utah//king
$323
Outbound
Less than 24 hours
Had 103 endusers to contact and buyer was very interested as he responded to my mail less than a minute after I sent it.
I quoted $910 as asking price and he said that was a fair price but he doesn't have that kind of money cos of COVID-19. I told him to make me an offer Baba said $272 I tell am say na money im call but e no reach but say I go do 400 to cover escrow charges.
He responded that I have been so generous with my prices (Baba dey toast me ) but he had to squeeze money around to get up to that 273 that way can be do so that the escrow does not bite me so bad so I said let's do $350 but he begged for $323 and I agreed. All these from 1st mail to the sale was for just a lil above 1 hour.
I put him through the UndevelopedEscrow process and he paid. How I wish I had PayPal as the buyer had a porkbun account I for just keep the $51 I paid Dan.

Why did I accept his price?
I had just sent 18 mails before he responded and while I was chatting with him I was still sending mails but no one has responded as at the 34th mail out of 103 so I said Omo make I rest since the domain is less than a day with a good ROI.

Sorry to bore you guys.

As we say "we move ooooooo"

Congrats, bros! More sales.

I am amazed how you guys pull off sales like these. I am not sure if I have ever sold a name earlier than the first 60 days. Well, maybe it's because I typically wait until the lock is off, though.

To even sama the one or two people who inquire about prices in some cases high prices sef dey fear me. Imagine Josh quoting $910 for him domain name. Una get liver o.

PS: Slimjosh43, please how did Dan charge $51 on a $323 sale?

.

E be like say una want make we start saying the rosary for here

Let's start already.

Yes, you're right about the 200 mailtrack per month. That's for the free version and I think it's okay.

But the 50 mail merge limit article was written in 2013, not applicable today. Just last week, I sent a merged mail to over 200 contacts using streak.

Thought I should ask; do you use the paid or free version of Streak? I'm trying to figure something.

Crazeworld:

That's an interesting one. You know I never tried to even send more than 50 emails in a merge? I need to do that now. Who doesn't want to save more time after all?

Crazeworld:
The free version only restrict tracking to 50 mails after enjoy the full version for 14 days. I'm not sure but you can learn more on their website.

You can send to any number of recipients (there's no restriction) but I'd advise you don't send more than necessary especially if it's a new Gmail account.

No, I am not sure you are correct about that. I found out you can track 200 emails for free per month from my research several weeks ago. You may search something like "free streak tracking limit" on Google; you might find the information.

As for merge limit, you may visit here: blog dot streak dot com/streak-brings-mail-merge-to-gmail-34a060a608ce?gi=5ad67e27ef20 (replace the dot with .) to learn more.

This news hasn't helped what I was contemplating of doing with the account I have with them.

Is it now that they are downsizing that they'd have the time to respond to a complaint email and Twitter post I made since over a month now? Another reason many businesses don't last in Nigeria.

Julius209:
boss, how do I locate ''insert variable icon'' in the gmail?

After uploading a CSV file containing lead info, you will notice a clickable text with those words below the message composition area - around where you'll usually find the "Send" button.

mobiss:
Per year.

CornOak:
Yearly.

Thanks for the response.

Chosen1984:
Who told u? Have u met them?

Who told me, really? In this age of Google? Even the documentary in which I first learnt about the place tried to re-create some of the things they did.

Oh! You have met them to know they fully know the difference between good and evil? Interesting.

Sorry, this back-and-forth isn't getting anywhere obviously. Let's forget this, please.

Chosen1984:
Before he went there, GOD KNEW! For the fact that they killed him shows that they know what is good and evil..
If not they would have also killed them selves

If you said so. Mind you, these are people who are generally hostile to outsiders. It's like they had also attacked other people who had a good intention. Who attacks a person who means good to oneself?

PS: I wonder why everyone keeps mentioning Sentinel Island, though. Is that the only place with little contact to the outside world and hostility towards Christians? Some people are probably just hearing about it.

Chosen1984:
Did you hear what he did before he was killed!

He Screamed and told them about JESUS Christ.

That is a Witness..

But did they understand him at all?

I'm not saying that he or people like him did the wrong thing, by the way. No! I also adhere to the Christian faith, just so you know.

Of course, I believe he'd receive a just reward from his Maker.

Chosen1984:
Sentiel island have had a Know witness of the Gospel

The man who went to North Sentinel Island to preach the Gospel was killed by the inhabitants. I learnt that after reading a little more about the place when I first got to know about it 1-2 years ago. I'm not sure the people understood him a bit.

It's probably correct to say the Gospel has spread everywhere. But people's perceptions of it differ. For instance, if I have been told that you are a liar, the way I'd respond to you will not be the same as when I wasn't told such.
