Someone posted a company is going bankrupt. I read it up but don't know if it is payoneer parent company. The company going bust is German but Payoneer seems American.

Perhaps a US subsidiary
It's not Payoneer's parent company; just one that currently supplies card. Yes, Payoneer is headquartered in the U.S.

I think my two most recent card replacements were shipped from the U.K. It used to be from the U.S.

Just pray that the "3 days" is true. It used to mean more than two weeks in the past, which was why I ported to live chat. I don't know if they have changed now, though.

By the way, Dynadot told me the company declined a transaction I was trying to make this evening. That has never happened before on any site where the card was initially accepted.

You won't believe I got disconnected when I reached No. 2 in the queue for live chat (from No. 153). shocked I just weak. Na that "3 business days" option (ticket) I come resort to las las.

Hey, that option is not ideal for emergencies in my experience.

Hello everyone, let me quickly share my sales of the last 6 days with you so that fellow newbies like myself will continue to learn.

I have chosen to share these sales because of the story around them.

Best//Houston//Roofers//com
Price: 200
Venue: Dan
Hold time: 2 months or so
Sales type: Outbound

Immediately I got this name, I started outbounding like crazy. And I got a reply that night asking:

"what's your price?"

I quoted $750 (as is my usual practice), and the man asked if I would be the one to connect the name to their website. I told him I'll do that for him if that's what he wants. He said okay and went silent. The next day, I got an email from his web guy (web guys are a pain in every domainer's a**) saying it's $450 they can pay. I said no problem, bring money.

For where? They went silent for days and completely ignored every single one of my follow up letters. I was angry ehn. After all the thousand and one emails we have shared back and forth. Okay o.

I kept outbounding for the name, nothing. I even reduced price to $200. Still nothing.

6 days ago, I decided to outbound on the name again and I got a response from another company asking:

"how will the name be transferred?"

I told them about Dan and how it's a safe process on the whole. I didn't get a response. The following day, I got a congratulatory message from Dan.

That leads me to my second sale 4 days ago..

We//Buy//Houses//New//Orleans//com
Price: $235
Hold time: 3 weeks or so
Venue: Dan
Type: Inbound (make offer)

This domain thought me valuable life lesson I swear cheesy
Immediately I purchased this name, I did a quick Google search and saw a company using the hyphenated version of the same name. Theirs was We-Buy-Houses-New-Orleans//king

So I was excited! I reached out to the guy. I told him what my name was and how professional it would be to own my own name instead of the one he's currently using.

He responded the next day and begged me to give him the name for $75. I said no way! That he should bring $150. After much back and forth, he pleaded that I gave him the name for $93 as that was all he had. I told him him he can take it for $100. He didn't respond.

The next one week had me sending him countless emails telling him I have now listed it for $93 that he should coman buy. No response. But he was reading the messages. So I left the name at $93 for the next 2 weeks.

Few days ago, precisely the day I got an inbound offer on the name, I was going through my profile and saw the name was still listed for $93. Out of anger, I changed it to $300, saying to myself that when he's ready, he'll come meet me at this price!

Remember that all these while, I haven't even done outbound on the name to the countless other potential end users out there. I was so focused on selling to him alone.

So on the evening of that day that I changed the price from $93 to $300, I got an offer of $135 from a different person. Ahn Ahn. See me o. But this name has been on the market since the last two weeks for the price of $93 cheesy

Okay o. I replied $250. Buyer countered $175 immediately. I declined. He countered $200. I declined. He countered $227, I countered $235. He accepted and paid immediately. Wow! grin

That brings me to my sale of yesterday...

Los//Angeles//Deck//Builders//com
Price: $500
Venue: Dan
Type: Outbound
Hold time: 3 days

This is one of my less stressful sales yet. So on the night that I sold the last name, I bought this one and started outbounding immediately. I got a reply few minutes later:

"what's your price?"

I responded with $750. No response.

The next day, I followed up saying I'm open to all offers on the name.

So here's what happened next: she cc'd me in an email to her web guy where she was asking him what he thought about the name. The web guy said it was a good name and even went ahead to convince her they would get more business if they built another website with the name. Whether guyman was trying to get paid for building a website, I don't know and honestly it's none of my business grin grin

I kept my cool all the while, just reading their emails back and forth. So after everything, she asked me if I would take $500 for it.

Ah, bring the money ma grin

She paid yesterday. Dan never credit me sha.

Phew!! Sorry for the long report cheesy

For those waiting for sales, never stop outbounding. Sometimes, it's not about buying names all the time. Outbound for the ones you already own, your buyers may be waiting for your email grin

That's all!

Thanks iykepromotions, beckplanet, treasure28, biuti (how's this business doing you?), Expertix, ikhalyfah (where are you my man?), and every other person here who doesn't use sarcasm to claim one boss they are not, especially Tranxo angry grin
Congrats again, bro. I felt I should ask, if you'd oblige: do you always set the BIN for your domain names at $750 out of the gate at your chosen marketplace?

I'm trying to understand why end-users first ask you for the price and you could definitely tell them it's $750. Thanks.

I'd probably write something like this now.

Subject: Who's gonn' fvck me tonight?

Hi Jenn,
"More than 23,647 persons have been displaced out of jobs in Lagos between February and June 2020."

The above statement is the recent statistics from the NDE on the effects of COVID-19 on the Nigerian economy. A high number of organizations have been forced to downsize. This is a sad situation... especially as a lot of able-bodied men have been forced to take up menial jobs, and their female counterparts - streetwalking.

A drive at night to Pekas and Ocean Blue in Ikeja will be met with a high number of call girls scrambling over one another for clients.

It's that bad!

But some escorts have actually stepped up their game. No more loitering around waiting for clients... How did they do it?

They make clients find them...online!

Which is why I'm bringing it to your notice that there is domain name that can give you such authority in the s.ex industry. FuckMeWell dotcom is an exact match domain that describes your services perfectly. Building a website on it will be a boost for Jennifer Escorts as it receives 864 average searches per month.

Which do you prefer? Scrambling for clients?

...or getting to choose who you go out with?

Make your choice here NOW! [LINK]

Warm regards,
Crazeworld

PS:
I will be reaching out to other escort agencies in Lagos so this offer is available to the FIRST person who purchases it. Do that here [LINK].
Too long. But hey you sabi pitch sha. grin

Many thanks to Iykepromotions and all the good teachers in the house. I completed the fast transfer process for some of my domains on Friday last week and the next morning I got a msg from Afternic that one of my domains have been sold. I don't gamble and I don't recommend it but then, having had knowledge of it in the past, I think the main reason why most Nigerians lose in it, is because of greediness. That is the weakness of every punter, and that's the psychological aspect most betting providers use in making profit.

Wanting to win N49,000,000 with N100? Not that it doesn't happen once in a while but that's not playing by the rules.
There are big punters around the world, Club managers, rich fans, rich Arab guys etc. They know the rules, they play by the rules and they cash out.

It's a general myth amongst amateur punters which is very wrong. Virtual doesn't manipulate, the results are always fixed but it's very unpredictable, and unrealistic. That's why people lose.

Many years ago, around 6yrs ago or more, there used to be one Nigerian guy who calls himself Nosa and another one who calls himself baba Sampat or so.
Nosa was into virtuals and he won millions with virtuals, he had a blog then and had free and premium ebooks on virtual games.
Sampat, I think is a scammer who pretends to be spiritualist who uses supernatural powers to get result of games which he sold to people on Facebook.
Both were Nairalanders those days, Nairaland being different then from what it is now, I always had the opportunity of witnessing their long hot threads where they fought, dissed and exposed themselves.
Nosa taught people arbitrage betting etc. And he exposed everything behind Virtuals on different betting sites. That's when you realize there's no manipulation in virtuals like most believe.
Nosa was a scammer as well.

It's not compulsory; I have never used such. I prefer a mainstream wallet. There are several of such. Simply search online and read reviews.

I use GreenAddress and I have not had serious issues in 3-4 years of use.

You can sell to exchangers from your wallet or keep if you'd like to speculate.

PS: The main downside to a non-exchange wallet is that you'd still need to pay transfer fee when sending money from there to an exchanger.

Lol. Let me ask you a question for those of you doubting forex if you were rich enough I know that at a point your bank must have begged you to leave your money in the bank for sometime promising you some rewards

Why do you think they do that. It's because they want to trade with your money and they need to be sure you won't request for it anytime soon.

You better wise up

You will keep being broke you know why cause you see every opportunity as scam

I have never sold any non-US .com domain, but some people have had luck selling such in the past. The closest I came was a $100 offer for DrivingLessonsEdinburgh in king some years ago that I turned down and couldn't get again afterwards - I even renewed the domain expecting a better offer.

I currently have only one non-US .com in my portforlio for a Canadian city after seeing a .com for the country sold by someone here several weeks ago. I hadn't tested .com for that country before now.

You still want to put your entire focus on the U.S., except you see a TRULY great name for countries that prefer their own TLDs.

Good decision! There are many invalid email addresses on YP and one runs the risk of being limited or having one's emails sent to spam by using them like that.

I'd advise people to be more cautious of web-based email addresses (e.g. Gmail, Yahoo, etc) from there. Verification tools can't really check them accurately, from experience.
