When you don't know something you keep mute, you'll have to prove that Muhammad pbuh used beads to count.... Only then you can attribute it to Islam.
They said muhammad pbuh used his hands to count his prayes not beads.

No doubt Christianity was in Rome as early as the first Century. But then it wasn't organized. It wasn't known by any name. Christians then gathered in underground cellers and homes for worship. They were no "Church Fathers" then. Christianity was purely following the handed down letters or epistles handed down by the Prophets and Apostles.
If any Church Father's claims they counted beads before Christianity was lifted from the dungeon to the palace, that "Church Father" lied. And from when did you Johnnydon started taking Wikipedia and it's sources sriously? I hope you know, you can place an article on Wikipedia?
Beads counting or chanting has no roots in Christianity. Not at all.
Actually bead counting didnt start in d 'palace' it started in d desert. there are church fathers that come from before the 4th century eg st Justin, THE CHURCH WAS NAMED CATHOLIC LONG BEFORE D 4TH CENTURY. The church was organised even when in d catacombs.

Jon, Catholic Church as an organised religion started in the 4th Century, not third. So how could they have started counting beads by then.
By third Cenrury Christianity wasnt yet a state religion, and the Christians prior to Catholicism never use beads.
Not true, catholicism as an organised religion predates the 4th century, the historic writting are there for anyone who cares, by d 2nd century xtian communities have been organised under bishops, priests and deacons, bishop were already excercising their authority and later times hold councils among themselves.

in rome xtianity was pretty organised from about d 1st century, b4 d apostles died bishop were already appointed, presbyter and deacon were under d bishop. the bishop of rome were also settling issues of churches around it.
d church ws organised even b4 it bcame an official religion. and on the topic xtian beads do predat muslim beads.

I'd say Catholic...

Early Church fathers used praying beads as early as 3rd century AD (Not necessarly for rosary recitations as found today)

Islam bead praying is directly due to muhammed's practise of using his fingers to count his prayers which was later substituted with beads in Islam.

So catholic (Christian) beads came first.
CORRECT.

ValentineMary:
Actually I think the islamic beads came first. The catholic rosary started in the year 1214 at Toulouse in France when St Dominic claimed the virgin Mary appeared to him. But the Islamic beads has been used since the time of Mohammed (64 A.D) though then it was disjoint pebbles used to recite the 99 attributes of Allah
It is true the rosary began about 1200ad, but the use of beads in catholicism predates the rosary by hundreds of years.

d rosary is just one form of xtian bead use, monks and hermits have been using d beads to count d Jesus prayer, pater nosters, psalms and all sorts of prayers from about the 3rd and 4th century.

These are the points again :

1.in the hebrew calender, a month is added every few years, that is their own format or way in calculating the years in their calender, its a rule in their calculations and they dnt just add it abitrarily.....
Adding days to a particular
calender year is in no way
different from the gregorian
calender that also add a day
every four years.
i guess u haven't been reading my post.

in ancient times adding a month wasn't based on calculation, it was based on observation and agriculture, if d produce came late a month was added and there were times when months were added continously for 4yrs. it was not based on calculation but observation.

It got worse when the temple fell and d sahendrine split into 2, and were given 2 different calenders and dates...

not directly, christmas doesnt fall on d equinox.

Pope Francis said today he would set up a commission
to study women deacons in the early Church, a proposal
that has often been discussed by modern theologians
such as Cardinals Carlo Martini and Walter Kasper.
Speaking to around 900 members of the International
Union of Superiors General today, representing half a
million religious sisters from 80 countries, the Pope was
asked if he would establish “an official commission” to
study the question of women deacons.
He replied: “I accept. It would be useful for the Church
to clarify this question. I agree."
The Church reintroduced the permanent diaconate for
males after the Second Vatican Council. Deacons cannot
celebrate the Eucharist, but can preach at Mass, preside
at weddings and funerals,

Of course he can. And indeed he does. All the time. But the Bibliolatrians don't think like that. For them it stops at the bible.

God can inspire a man to write a song, to write a poem, to build a house. It happens all the time. There is no exclusivity of inspiration for the bible.
OK, if dat is the issue, i can't disagree with you. inspiration didnt end with the bible, it continues even today in our individual lives.

Xtians blive they've gat the holyspirit with them, why would they dispute the continuation of inspiration?

I'm not sure d real issue is the continuation of divine inspiration, i think the issue is the continuation of public revelation. The two issues are different.

The bible is for the most part a compilation of texts written by humans using their human understanding.

The bible has been subjected to all the vicissitudes of history that such texts would normally go through.

The bible has been used as a political tool, by investing it with an authority and calling it the foundation of christianity it has been used to attack the political power of the Roman Catholic church.

The above are just a few examples of what the bible is, just to put you in the light.

Buhari have not fulfill any promise that's why no body wants to see the good side of the removal
If Buhari is a smart president he would have wait a little and bring out some good policies we can see and feel in his government before the removal of the subsidy
IF he waits he wont be able to pay workers next month.

Ephesians 2:15 New International Version by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace,
New Living Translation He did this by ending the system of law with its

peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in himself one new people from the two groups.

The law only made everyone guilty under a curse and under God's wrath until d saviour will come.
Christ came and removed us from under d tutor (d law), and its curse and to justify us before God.
12: And the
law is not of faith: but, The man that
doeth them shall live in them. 13: Christ
hath redeemed us from the curse of the
law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that
hangeth on a tree"
"25: But after that faith is come, we are
no longer under a schoolmaster. 26: For
ye are all the children of God by faith in
Christ Jesus.

(Gal. 3)
d laws glory has now been surpassed, it nolonger glorious
10 Indeed, in this case, what once had glory has come to have no glory at all, because of the glory that surpasses it. 11 For if what was being brought to an end came with glory, much
more will what is permanent have glory.

Blueagent dralein 12: Wherefore the law is holy, and the

good"
(Rom. 7). Notwithstanding dis statement affirming
d goodness of d Law, Paul continued
2 state just a short while later in romans
d following: "3: For what the law could not do, in that
it was weak through the flesh, God
sending his own Son in the likeness of
sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin
in the flesh"
(Rom. cool.

d law was good nd holy nd even just, bt is was also weak, it couldnt condem sin in d flesh and cause rightousnes. it became a curse to all under it
"10: For as many as are of the works of
the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are
written in the book of the law to do them.
11:But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. 12: And the law is not of faith: but, The man thatdoeth them shall live in them.

Yes, they can afford it.

As for me, I can't stand the heat, and I don't have N145 for combustion.

Therefore, I support anything that will reduce the price of fuel.

The Government can continue to deceive the people; all I know is that subsidy can be removed without skyrocketing prices to N145/litre.
At present subsidy can't be removed without skyrocketing the price to 145, unless the naira gains against the dollar.
