Keneking: IHS is Catholic-term used to denote Jesus
"The name “Jesus”, in Greek, is written ιησους which is transliterated as “ihsous” and pronounced iēsous. This is the true meaning of IHS, it is the first three letters of the Greek spelling of the Holy Name of Jesus. The insignia is nothing more (and nothing less) than the symbol of the Holy Name."

The complete vestment is used for celebrating high mass or with a monstrance, but i doubt the legitimacy of the bearer as an ordained Bishop, a high priest.
Anyway, I am listening to Anaedo special from Stephen Osadebe. Amazing song U are actually correct but that isnt the catholic bishop of oshogbo |

The fact remains that all our politicians don't have the masses at heart. I don't trust them being PDP or APC. There is suffering in the land, the notices of commodities are going higher and higher. And the naira is nose diving against the dollars. Jona said he signed a padded budget while buhari didnt he returned d budget. d nose dive bgan under jona |

DoctorAlien: Syncan and Ubenedictus, what do you have to say about this verse?
"...But if thou wilt enter into life, obey the commandments" Matt. 19:17 Which commandment do u obey? that of Jesus or that of moses? remember d law of moses was trasistory 2 cor 3:7, was a ministration of death, a curse and we are no longer under it. so tell me is it d law of death or d law of grace dat u follow? |

DoctorAlien: "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." Matt. 5:17-19
How is it then you say we are no longer required to obey GOD's law? Galatians 3:19 Why then the law? It was added because of transgressions, until the offspring would come to whom the promise had been made; and it was ordained through angels by a mediator.3:24 Therefore the law was our tutor until Christ came, so that we might be justified by faith. 3:25 But now that faith has come, we are no longer subject to a tutor. d purpose of d law has been fulfilled in CHRIST. |

Did Jesus ask us to pray to Mary or make any request from her?
Is Mary able to grant you anything? The bible tell me d prayer of d righteous is efficacious, it tell me that xtians can request prayer from each other and dat those in heaven present our prayer to God. the word of God is true, those in heaven present my request to GOD and i can ask anyone to pray 4 me so why not ask mary? |

"All your words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal." Psa. 119:160 His moral laws ie rigteous law are eternal, the same cant be said for d large ceremonial and judicial laws in d old testament, the bible says those ones are transitory 2 cor 3:7 |

Adedeji2012: With all the comments i am seeing here. I deduce that Nigerians still dont understand what it takes to make this country great. Why do we keep on voting for parties instead of candidates. If PDP has destroyed the country for 16 years and they come up with a candidate that can make country great, why not vote for that candidate and forget whatever party he has come from. You said you wanted APC, you now have your APC smashing records just as David Moyes and Louis Van Gaal smashed Ferguson's records. Nevertheless, if apc presents the better candidate, why not do the same thing by voting them in. My Take: GEJ had the better plan for Nigeria. UR opinion, mine is d opposite. |

It is the importation of Fuel of 50% for Domestic Consumption that put us in this mess. If Buhari, is truly concerned about the effect of fuel price hike on the average Nigerian, he should immediately stop all importation of Fuel for Domestic Consumption and compel NNPC to produce 100% Domestic Fuel Consumption. While the subsidies removal is sustained, the price hike should be dethroned to N100. THE NNPC CAN NOT SATISFY DOMESTIC CONSUMPTION. Even if all our refineries were working optimally they wont still be able to satisfy local consumption. |

DoctorAlien: Who gave the catholic church the right to perpetrate the abominable evil they did in the dark ages? the funny thing is that it is states laws that are used in trying people not church laws. if there is a law that says a certain sect is dangerous and the state apply d laws, what abominable evil are u now talking about? let me even ask u a person who kill one person and one who convince an entire community to commit suicide, how will d state punish them? the albigensis recommended suicide as a good work and told people it is sinful to marry and procreate and then went on to teach other heresies, in my opinion, they were a dangerous sect that could lead to human extinction and the states were right to enact laws against them, and the church was justified. there is hardly anything abominable there. |
