After many years of "Pentecostals" demonizing Catholics for the practice of Canonization of Saints, one of their most revered "pastors" Adeboye, has now declared that he has no doubt that HID Awolowo is in heaven (the same thing that the Pope does in a Canonization).

Now the same "Pentecostals" that call the Pope and the Church evil for daring to declare that a person is in heaven...are telling those criticizing Adeboye not to speak ill of a "man of God."

Does Adeboye now believe in Canonization of Saints or does he believe that his own Canonization is holy and that of the Pope is evil?

I once had a friend he was a member of oyedepo's 'church', we happened to discuss many issues regarding doctrines, he would demonise catholics for calling their priest 'rev fr' but he didnt see d hypocrisy of calling oyedepo 'papa'. The issue that interested me d most was dat this guy didnt blieve in d trinity(he picked his opinion from a tele evangelist), we spent close to a year discussing trinity, i wasted my time taking him through passage by passage and showing how in d fullness of time God revealed himself as a mutual indwelling of 3 persons, he told me that my explanation were fine but that an unbeliever wit a bible won't be able to read trinity there so he concluded it was a theory of man, d issue bcame too hot, i had to let it be. 6months later dis guy claim he now believed in d trinity, how come? And influential pastor/writter taught it in his book so he accepted it as true.

After several such case, i came to d conclusion that most protestants don't care what d truth is, if their pastor or writter is against d catholic d average protestant will do d same and he will maintain d catholic practice is wrong not minding d fact his church has a similar one. It is hypocrisy but d protestant doesnt care, ro far he has sumtin to protest about.

Suprisingly (to you,that is), he never made that speech. He was not against the dogma of infallibility but against the timing just like Cardinal Newman was.

heb 12:1, 12:22-25 show me an interesting picture, it say i am on mount zion, every time we lift ourselves in prayer we enter zion, there we have d multitude of angels and saints! The angels are always there and i have access there. The angel and saints are in every prayer meeting, church and prayer place becaue each time we pray we spiritually open d door to mount zion and that reality is present to anyone who really prays.

You know why God did it this way, so that in the future some people will not form an organization and start spewing false doctrines while claiming its from the holy spirit. If it does not go along with what the spirit had guided the apostles to write down , then it is false.

The holy spirit guided them to know what they should do, jesus did not need to tell them about the bible.

We can know if ur prophecy, miracle, healing, words, are true or not. The catholic church wants to take this power away from the scriptures cus it exposes and falsify some of their doctrines.

Bro one thing I dnt like is trying to ascribe words or statements to scriptures in which the scriptures never made mention of those words or implied them.
The verses did not say "God the holy ". It did not say "the ark bacame the dwelling place of the presence of God"
Why are you now ascribing those words to the scripture when the scriptures says otherwise.

Where they expelled from the church?
Did the church stop associating with such one?
As long as the church allowed them to still be members while they continue to so such atrocities, it means the church supports there actions. No matter how much the church condemn the actions of the war, I see it as gimmick, a publicity stunt that does not reach the heart of its members.

So now let me answer ur question. When Jesus left d earth he didnt just leave us a book, infact he never mentions a tin abt writting a book! Fewer than half of d apostle wrote books in d new testament. What Jesus did say to peter is "upon this rock i will build my church...and the gates of hades will not prevail against it".
So for salvation, i not only have scripture, but the divinely established church to teach and interprete it.
