frosbel: I believe that all God fearing and honourable people irrespective of religious orientation will be saved into the new kingdom.
The idiocy that only a select group of people are dear to God is akin to supremacist ideology and is counter-productive to the peaceful and loving coexistence between all men.
Christians have totally missed the point and keep condemning and judging other men to a so called hell when the truth is that God is not a Christian and knows of no such religion. God only knows and honours those who practice goodness , equity , fairness and love.
Those deluded ones who keep living like the devil and claim the blood of Jesus as a legal loophole will be in for a shocker.
I will rather be friends with a Muslim who loves his fellow man than a Christian who slanders, insults and humiliates others
Remember ; God sees the heart and not the 'mouth' ! heheheheh, frosbel, what a jorney you have made since I have discussed with you, from a fundamentalist protestant Christian to a simple protestant Christian then a pseudo messianic Jew after you rejected the complete authentiicity of the new tesatament and now you seem to be landing around the shores of humanism, secularism and modernism. brocab: Since you seem to know everything about the past, then prove to me without guessing' it was the apostle Peter had started up your Church, and How do you get the scripture Matthew 16:18 to line up with, peter being the founder of the Church. You really haven't got any evidence, to prove otherwise.
And if Peter was married as the scriptures tells us, then why not all the other bishops and priest, you have' get married. Or maybe Peter was an elder or a bishop not the Pope-Titus 1:5-7 a bishop must be blameless a husband of one wife.
What I don't understand is: Who made apostle Peter the pope?
This is what I have found>In the book of men-the following titles are commonly used with reference to a man, "Pope" "Holy father" Vicar of Christ" " Sovereign Pontiff" All these are titles that rightly belong only to the Lord Jesus Christ and to God the Father.
There is not a single instance of the scriptures where any of the above titles are applied to a man.
The term "Holy Father is used only once in the entire bible, and it's used by Jesus in addressing God the Father {John 17:11} {unless you can show me otherwise}
Among the above titles is the bold assertion that the Pope is the "Vicar of Christ." A Vicar is "One serving as a substitute or agent' one authorized to perform the functions of another in higher office," when one searches the bible from cover to cover, he finds only one passage which gives an indication of a vicar of Christ or God.
In 2 Thessalonian's 2:3-4 which say's>"Let no-one deceive you by any means; for the day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of prediction, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshipped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
Some religionists today advocate the man is saved by faith only. How ever, there is only one scripture in the entire bible, that says the words "faith and only" together written in James 2:24 and it says "Not by faith only."
The Catholic's today speak of the Pope as Vicar, taking the place of God. {Christ Himself is God, Matthew 1:23, and John 1:1}
So may I ask: your religion has nothing to do with the entire bible so who are you?. it seems you do not know that "pope" is simply a title used by the Bishop of Rome. The pope like St peter is a Bishop. I'm suprised you don't know this. There are also married priests in the Catholic Church, there are only more celibate priest because St Paul teaches that "It is better to be unmarried so that one may be dedicated to the Lord". So celibacy is considered a good thing in the priesthood because it helps one to be dedicated to God. That not withstanding there have been married bishops and priest, st peter is a good example of a married pope. Even though it seems his wife didn't live long enough to see his ministry. |

There are about 35,000 Catholics in Turkey, which includes ancient Byzantium/Constantinople--about 0.05% of the population
No doubt the Nazis persecuted Catholic organizations, but not because the Church opposed the Nazis. The Pope was quite anxious to come to an agreement with the Nazi government, as the Church had openly supported Fascist movements in Italy (Mussolini) and Spain (Franco); the Nazis had other ideas as they didn't really want any kind of rival organization with outside support. There is no evidence that the Church was inherently opposed to Nazi ideology. it seems you didn't research on the nazi topic before posting. There are continous publications of catholic bishops and conferences of catholic bishops against nazi ideology. Infact the jews thanked the church for supporting and rescueing them during the nazi regim. Even more importantly the pope wrote an encyclical on the issue, the highest form of ordinary papal teaching is an encyclical. Usually all encyclicals are published in latin, but this one is actually in german not latin, it was smuggled in germany and read to the people on sundays, the mit brennender sorge. Have a look. They were "Christians" while doing the above ^. they certainly were the "true religion" at the time with the manifest presence of God. In the wildest sense posible I may define Christian as one who attained salvation through Christ or whose sins were passed over in view of Christ sacrifice. So yeah, in that sense they were the true religion and the sacrifice of Christ did spill over both forward into history and backward into the past. Justifying the old testament saints and bringing salvation to us in the new t. That is why I am not suprised that even the early Christian practiced exactly the same thing moses did. When a christians was killed in persecution, the early Christians made a point of translating the remains from where ever the pagan put it and reverent bury that temple where the holyspirit was dwelt in hope of the resurrection, but unfortunately d so called modern christians are not taught Church history. |

I later met those plastic non-detachable toys when I was about 7yrs (they made them with plastic head and they looked dressed) we punched holes in their head and fixed then with grass an then later with attachment. Later came the detachable clothable toys but by then we had passed the toy age. Toy na for agebor children |

nas00: These days, people can hardly tell their left from their right. Can one blame them?
Yet often, the empty barrels make most noise. See them agitating for recognition!
That said, how could you compare Oònirìsà (literally: Ooni the Oracle) to 'Aláse èkeji òrìsà' (literally: Commander, next-in-command to the Oracle)?
If you know that the full title of the Ooni of Ile-Ife is Oonirisa, you will then understand that he himself is the deity. Your Alaafin can only be second to him, as his title parlance implies.
Realize that Ile-Ife is the source of the Yoruba race. Oduduwa's descendants left ile-Ife with crowns to go establish kingdoms and rule all over yorubaland. These kingdoms include those of the great Oba of Benin, Alaafin of Oyo, Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Alaketu of Ketu, Orangun of Ila, Onisabe of Sabe and Olupopo of Popo. It was from these initial kingdoms that all the Obas you know today sprang.
Memory verse: Ile-Ife is supreme, and the stool of the Ooni is higher than any other in yoruba land.
If you choose to respect the Alaafin or even Olubadan more than the Ooni, no problem. It's entirely your right to choose who to respect. But historically, the fact is what i've stated. Ego-massaging get us nowhere. Let's say the truth as it is..always!
A yoruba proverb says "the Okro plant cannot be taller than than its planter/ harvester".. Alaafin's stool is the Okro, while Ooni's is the planter/ harvester
Cheers! this is useless brinkering, Oranyan (Oromiyon) sat on both stools, both empire was continued with the line of Oranyan. The two stools use One line. They are virtually brothers. |

brocab: Yes of course you can speak, how come you believe your Church stands with pride on good foundations above all other denominational Churches? And you say Pope Peter was one of Christ's apostles that started your Church, and later the Church found him guilty of treason, and had him crucified up side down on the Cross, while the apostle Paul has his head decapitated, were they murdered because they tried to show the Church that the body of Christ is the Church. Not a man made structure, build with statues and idols.
Was it Emperor Nero that made the final decision, to remove the apostles Peter and Paul, do you realize what the Catholic Church had done. You had taken Christ out of the Church. You had done what the Pharisees done, taken Christ out from among them, by crucifixion.
So how can you call your Church the Church of Jesus Christ, when Jesus spoke clearly on Love and forgiveness.
And was not the apostle Peter a married man, or were the Popes back then married men also? Ubenedictus you should read this-look what your dear Papist have Quoted>The one Church where all man made protestant denominations came from. But before your Church was built by men-Christianity came from Christ Himself, where all those who have left your Church since then, all have gone back and found the true foundation in Christ Himself, His true Church' which is the body from the beginning. listen dummy, the catholic church didn't kill peter and paul, the pagans did. You tried, but the Edo story isn't exactly correct.
The former Kingdom wasn't called Edo it was, "Igodomigodo"or "Igodo" for short. The name changed during the Kingship of the Oba Ogun, when the Oba was a boy he was a pain in the butt, since he didn't live in the palace, he lived in the bush as an outlaw. When it was about his father's death the Chiefs believed that Ogun was unfit to rule so they planed to kill him, Edo is the name of the servant of the High Cheif who releaved the plan to prince Ogun and saved him. After the high chief found out he had been betrayed he killed the servant.
That experience marked the Oba Ogun for life and when he ascended the stool of his father he named the whole kingdom, the people of the capital, the language and the society "Edo" after the servant who died for him.
That is why Edo is the only people I know who call both their landmass, cultural identity, language, and capital Edo.
If you are in Edo state it is usual to here people from bini and Esan people say "I shi Edo", i.e I am going to edo instead of I am going to Benin. |

Listen dummy, you did say, it was your Church who stood out from amongst the other Churches? Listen it don't matter who's Church is supporting the Gay community, what matters, it was the Roman Catholic Church the Mother that stands high above all other Churches, allowed this corruption to happen. Your words were, to say your Church is the Mother of all Churches, I say, so if the Mother is corrupted then all her followers are corrupted too. you have started again with your lies, I have never in discussion with you called the Catholic church "mother of all churches", the protestant churches are man made ventures, proposed by so-called men of God who could not bear sound doctines and moral. It is a even more shameful thing that you feel the need to blame the Catholic church for the heresy of protestants! Till this date the catholic church still teaches the truth on homosexuality, it is your ventures of men who forcefully an disobediently broke out who are lost and have decided to support sin! Even when the catholic church was busy warning the anglicans about the silliness of supporting homosexuality they still went on with their demonic plans, that should be a good lesson to you, all this your "churches" were built by men, they lack good foundation that is why they are inconsistent in moral teaching. They are like leaf blown away in the wind. Go and ask your G.O why he broke away from his previous church, ventures of men. |

brocab: Well I have no argument when one calls either your sister brother mother father child or Grand parents dear, or lets say If I was to meet a female-then the term dear does not sound out of order. But when I hear men calling other men dear, it's disrespectful, Gay.
Not every man calls men dear in your country, you must be proud you are the first, and it is understandable for your Mother to address others with dear, but coming from a man who addresses dear to another man "a stranger" and then you say your showing affection towards me.
You are either a Gay who have not yet found your true foundations to know your true identity' wherever you stand. While in the meantime you are confused God had already given you your manhood, you either learn how to address other men as men, friend, mate, gentlemen with respect, or you stay affectionate as you are. And don't be a fended when one is confused how you address your dear mentally towards other men. It shows clearly you just haven't understood the story written in the bible about how God made Adam and eve, who calls each other dear, and not Adam and Steve. hahahahah, may God save us fron delusions. brocab: This is your conspiracy story in truth. Time will tell, and maybe it will be to late for you to even see any truth concerning Jesus. It has always been a hard road, writing to Religious people, but I keep on doing it, because the truth in me works and lines up' with the word of God.
And this is not a conspiracy story this is fact? So lets start turning back your own laughter, and lets continual to mock. We will start with this Mr Ubenedictus and if you can't see reason in front of you, God help you-end times are here, and strange things have been happening around the world-the Gay community have made way into the Church, mocking the Lord, while the Roman Catholic Church leaders have stood back, allowing this mocking to continual against Christ.
The Gay community have made claims, God loves all man kind, and we are made in the image of God, {which is true} using the law of the land as a weapon against the believers in Christ, Romans 13:1 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities, so if the Governments gave the laws on Gay marriage, it's the law. Is the Church now backing down, because of their own Gay community actives, working against the children of God.
Does not the lord give as a command one must follow the laws of the land, but does this give the Gay community the rights to open up Gay Churches, and disobeying God's commandments in sin.
You should know all this Mr Ubenedictus, You call yourself a man, who calls other men dear? So really what is your story. To be truthful I have been laughing at you all along, without guessing, what you are. No man calls another man dear, unless they a children or wife's or husbands. But not to strangers, as I believe everybody who reads your Quotes calling men dear as you claim to be a man yourself would agree with me. And this is not a conspiracy this is fact, It's not natural calling another man dear-Respect you call it? Repent, and follow after the Lord. now this is simply delusional, "my dear" has been used in Nigeria for years now, it simply an address that refers to the other affectionately, variants of this address are "my dear sister, my dear brother, my dear friend" or even dear mother or dear father, all this addresses may simply be summarised as "my dear" and it is used informally in speech, my mum still uses my dear in informal conversation till today, you but be totally delusion to infer that I am gay simply beacuse I have spoken to you using the affection address "dear". It doesn't make me gay actually, it seems you are a homophobe out looking for who ever to accuse of been gay. Do you accuse everyone who disagree with you of homosexuality or is this just your poor excuse for the fact that your silly accusations are false? This is even more suprising coming from a protestant, Are your Churches not the one supporting gay marriages all over the world, go and check, the catholic church teaches that the homosexual sexual acts are sinful but it is your fellow protestant who go about lauding it. As for you conspiracy theories I suggest you see a therapist because it seems your bais has blinded you to the God given capacity for truth. |
