Boomark: You not far from the truth. But you need to exonerated yourself completely from all idol worship that catholics engage in.

As for the Cana people, do you think if they had known Christ and asked him for help that he will refuse them?
How many of all those that called on him, "Son of man help me," "Son of David heal me," did he refuse? He is the way to God who we worship.

It is very very obvious that those who went through Mary did not know him well. Isn't it?

I know my friends, UBE and Loveth...are watching. I said the truth na.

SMH for idol worshipers. angry
ofcourse i notice. I have a big problem with protestant theology, everything is either/or, if can ask Jesus don't talk to mary, if u talk to mary u are insulting Jesus etc, for me it isn't either/or, it is with/and. I'm not only fellowshiping with Jesus d mediator of the new covenant, im fellowshiping with God the fada, d angels and saints in heaven with my fellow xtians on earth. I don't know where protestants got their own theology where u fellowship with Christ alone.
This is what my bible says heb 12:22-24
but you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to the innumerable angels in festal gathering, and to the assembly of the first born who are enrolled in heaven and to a judge who is God of all and to the spirit of the just men made perfect and to Jesus the mediator of and new covenant and to the sprinkled blood that speaks more graciously than the blood of Abel
i fellowship fully with the saint, i have not come to christ alone i also came to the fada, i didnt come to d fada alone but to christ and d angels, not to d angels alone but also to the saints spirit of d just made perfect, and xtians enrolled in heaven. That is what my bible tell me, that is the truth i believe in and d truth i preach. Ur either/or theology is a fluke.
Your question about if they had known or asked is non seqiter.

Christianity Etc › Popes Final Tweet by Ubenedictus(op): 7:18pm On Feb 28, 2013
"Thank you for your love and support. May you always experience the joy that comes from putting Christ at the centre of your lives."

With those words, Benedict XVI offered his final tweet, just hours before his resignation becomes official.

On Wednesday, he tweeted: "If only everyone could experience the joy of being Christian, being loved by God who gave his Son for us!"

Last Sunday, the tweet read: "In these momentous days, I ask you to pray for me and for the Church, trusting as always in divine Providence."
Christianity Etc › Benedict Gives Last Apostolic Blessing As Pope by Ubenedictus(op): 7:09pm On Feb 28, 2013
- Benedict XVI gave a brief and emotional final farewell this evening, moments after arriving to the papal residence of Castel Gandolfo where he will stay for several weeks before taking up residence in a monastery within the Vatican walls.

After 8 p.m., he said he will be simply "a pilgrim who is beginning the last part of his pilgrimage on earth."

"Thank you, thank you from my heart. I am happy to be here with you, surrounded by the beauty of Creation and your friendship that does me so much good, thank you for your friendship, for caring," he told the cheering crowds from the central balcony of the residence.

"You know that today is different from others … as of 8 p.m., I will no longer be the Supreme Pontiff of the Catholic Church. I will simply be a pilgrim who is beginning the last part of his pilgrimage on earth."

"But with my heart, my love, my prayer, with all my interior strength, I will work for the common good and the good of the Church and all humanity," he continued, speaking without a script.

"And I feel greatly supported by your affection. Let us move forward together with the Lord for the good of the Church and the world."

"I will now impart upon you all my Apostolic Blessing.

Thank you and good night. Thank you all!"

italo: Daughter of God, why don't you fear God, forget argument and accept the truth?

God hates any sex that is outside of marriage...whatever you call it. But you and Okeyz say its okay for two unmarried consenting adults to have sex.

Hebrews 13:4 - "Marriage [is] honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge."

Are whoremongers and their whores not unmarried consenting adults? Look at what God says about them.

Quit this shamelessness!

italo: @ Okeyz and Kmcutez,

What is this abomination that you are speaking. Why are you so-called "christians" so opposed to the truth that you would rather speak all manner of lies and blasphemy and heresy rather than accept the truth.

Now you have gone to the extent of saying it was the Catholic Church that made fornication (sex between unmarried people) a sin, not God.

Read 1 Cor 7: 1-9:

"1 Now for the matters you wrote about: “It is good for a man not to have sexual relations with a woman.” 2 But since sexual immorality is occurring, each man should have sexual relations with his own wife, and each woman with her own husband. 3 The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. 4 The wife does not have authority over her own body but yields it to her husband. In the same way, the husband does not have authority over his own body but yields it to his wife. 5 Do not deprive each other except perhaps by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. 6 I say this as a concession, not as a command. 7 I wish that all of you were as I am. But each of you has your own gift from God; one has this gift, another has that.

8 Now to the unmarried[a] and the widows I say: It is good for them to stay unmarried, as I do. 9 But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion."

You are contradicting St. Paul's words and teachings.

debosky: @ Ihedinobi

Not trying to downplay what you've said by any means, but there is too much 'advice' coming from those with no real understanding of what homosexual people are going through.

As to the source of the 'war' within her, could it simply be as a result of the incongruity that exists between everyone telling her she 'shouldn't' be this way (regardless of whether they understand why/how she is this way or not) and her 'body' as it were telling her she doesn't have a choice but to be this way?

I don't know if you understand what I'm saying here, but personally, I never 'wanted/chose' to be heterosexual - I don't/can't 'fight' or war with my heterosexuality, how does someone do that?

I do believe there is nothing impossible for God to do, but I am wary of placing this burden on people - that if you 'fight' it hard enough with God's help it will be 'changed'. What if it doesn't? Does that mean God is powerless? No. Then that means the individual hasn't fought 'hard enough'. And that can quickly descend into self-hate and often suicidal thoughts.

If, indeed, one went into homosexuality through 'experimentation', then such advice may be suitable. But is there a case of such orientation being 'inborn' and how do you fight that which is inborn?

I'm not talking about right or wrong here, I'm just sharing a few of my thoughts on how well do we understand what we present as advice?
i know phychologist who will look at it either way, both as a deep sitted orientation or a picked up habit. It may be fixable or d only option will be real chastity.

Kay 17: Do you think Wilberforce was cherry picking anti-slavery verses and in believing the Bible and Christianity is against Slavery, the subjugation/relegation of a man to property
actually cant remember saying anything about "wilberforce" or cherry picking. On the otherhand i believe anyone that say the whole bible both nt and ot was totally and positively against all forms of slavery is baised and anyone who says d nt and ot both approve slavery in all its types is even more baised.
Slavery is a condition that i believe existed even b4 d first letter of d bible was written to that effect d laws of moses wont immediately axe it (see the case on divorce), instead it would make it more humane, particularly, i opposed and do oppose d idea that chartel slavery as in d trans atlantic slavery was preached either by the old or new testament. Instead indetured servitude as joseph-leah case show was allowed (in essence one can sell his or herself into slavery for a specified amount of time to earn an income). This isn't so different from hired labourers.
On the otherhand prisoners of war could be enslaved (it is interesting dat even today d geneva convention and many others give few rights to prisoners of war.) yet these prisoner were entitled to their meal and basic necessity and could marry etc. Any master who injures his slave is obligated by d law of moses to free the slave. This shows that even in such cases d ot allows for the slave to be treated humanely. I would like to even add that the treatment of prisoners of war in d ot seem more humane than it happens in our present day (atleast i'm not aware of a country who release their prisoner of war becos he was injured).
These cases in the old t not withstand the new t goes on to tell d xtian masters to treat their slaves not as servant but as brothers. Those passages in no way support what today is called slavery but instead teaches that a xtian can truly leave a xtian life no matter the condition he finds himself.
Peace.

okeyxyz: No!! pedophilia and homos.exuality is not particular to the catholic church but they are very prevalent in it because of the unnatural conditions they subject their clergy to. When you suppress your natural urges, then your brain will only find alternative ways of expressing them. It's as simple as that. Pedophilia and homosexuality are due to psychological disorders. A few are born this way while the rest develop these disorders in the course of time through social\mental traumas, anxieties and complexes. Now the "celibacy" conditions of catholic clergy is a strong causing factor of these disorders.
i think even the bible contradict you as christ said 'some will be celibate for the sake of the kingdom of GOD'. And yet you claim no one can live without sex.

Yes!! I'm saying no one can live without s.ex except something is wrong with their s.exuality, Maybe a medical disorder that has affected his\her s.exual development thereby rendering him\her as.exual.

About Jesus; I give you a wisdom: why do you think he was born without s.ex? We can logically infer that Jesus was as.exual, arising from the nature of his conception. That was not normal. It was for a purpose, which christians don't even consider why. They simply declare it a miracle and go on to aspire to be like that as.exual jesus. It is not god's purpose for anybody to be asexual, infact as.exuality is an abomination(There's a lot I can tell about this, but not now). Those who revere asexuality don't know understand christianity one bit.

Another lack of understanding in mainstream christianity: Paul was not married does not mean he was not having s.ex. Before you shout "fornication", let me just tell you that sex between two single, unmarried persons is not fornication. There's no where in the bible where such act is described as fornication. It is misinformation\misunderstanding that has lead religious leaders to ascribe fornication it.
hahaha, sex between single people isn't fornication then pls define fornication

obadiah777: BROTHER UBE IT AFFECTS YOUR SALVATION IN THAT YOU NEED TO WORSHIP THE MESSIAH IN TRUTH AS HE IS DESCRIBED IN THE BIBLE ( JOHN 7 VS 38 ). SCRIPTURE SAYS ANY MAN THAT WORSHIP ME AS DESCRIBED IN THE BIBLE OUT OF HIS BELLY SHALL FLOW RIVERS OF LIVING WATERS. SEE WHAT THE LORD IS DOING IS PITTING EVERY MAN AGAINST HIS SATANIC SIDE BY TRYING TO SEE WHAT SIDE YOU WILL ALLY WITH. HE MADE THE WHITE MAN RICH AND VILE AND THEN THE BLACK MAN POOR AND THEN DESCRIBED WHAT HE LOOKS LIKE IN THE BIBLE AS A BLACK MAN. NOW TWO THINGS WILL KEEP YOU FROM REACHING CHRIST

1-STUDY TO SHOW YOURSELF APPROVED. BLESSED IS HE WHO READS. IF YOU DO NOT STUDY TO SHOW YOURSELF APPROVED THEN YOU WOULD NOT GET TO THE PARTS OF THE BIBLE THAT DESCRIBES THE COLOR OF CHRIST. SCRIPTURES SAYS BECAUSE YOU HAVE REJECTED KNOWLEDGE I WILL ALSO REJECT YOU. SO FAILURE TO MAUL THE BIBLE WILL LEAD TO ALOT OF PEOPLES DESTRUCTION

2-YOUR SATANIC INNATE ABILITY TO ALWAYS WANT TO ALLY WITH WINNERS WILL ALSO CAUSE YOUR DESTRUCTION ASSUMING YOU GET PAST THE FIRST OBSTACLE OF READING THE WHOLE BIBLE AND ACTUALLY FINDING OUT JESUS IS A BLACK MAN. NOW IF YOU FIND OUT HE IS A BLACK MAN BUT YOU LOOK AROUND YOU AND SEE THAT THE WHITE MAN IS PROSPERING AND IN NO WAY CAN JESUS BE A BLACK MAN, THEN THIS IS YOUR SATANIC GREEDY CARNAL SIDE REJECTING HIM AND THIS IS ANOTHER CAUSE FOR BEING SMOKED IN THE FIRE. ( JAMES 2 VS 9 ). ALOT OF AFRICANS ARE GOING TO DIE BECAUSE OF THIS

SO AS YOU CAN SEE, ITS A FIGHT WITHIN YOURSELF TO GET PAST YOUR GREEDY SIDE AND YOUR LAZY SIDE FOR KNOWLEDGE. BOTH SIDES WILL GET YOU SMOKED.
in other words it has no significance to my salvation

We need to start arresting and jailing them every time they are caught misbehaving, starting with the protector of ped0philes and racketeer-in-chief Joseph Ratzinger. If governments would just do their jobs and apply already existing organized crime laws to the catholic church, there would be no child sex abuse scandal.

The accusations made against O'brien were from catholic clergy men/seminarians..so its either those people were lying or O'brien is a hypocrite. He might be voted bigot of the year but those accusations and certain conflicting stories about his conducts are strong enough for him to sue those people and clear his name from the mess.
