You need a permit for all tinted cars, factory made, light, dark, my colleague drives a Sienna and you know the glasses are tinted right from the factory, he had to get a permit, Just right after one week, he got it, just go through a police officer |

if u dont want to be an accountant dont waste any precious time doing ACCA, u can go straight to CFA if u want to be an analyst, ACCA wont take u any where as an analyst, except u just want to get certficates for the sake of certification |
depends on what u want to do in d financial institution |
both are well recognized and can take u far, depends on hw u market urself and God's favor |
eezeebone:Depends on wat u want to be, an accountant (debit, credit, balance book) then go for ACCA or an analyst (financial analyst, investment, mergers and acquisition etc) then go for CFA |
odedele:The first set spent less than 1Million naira for the four years and am sure the subsequent set including this just graduated students spent less than 1.5M. please dont quote figures you aint sure of. |

Dhoomed for what? greater heights the organization is currently no 1 in its industry not only in Nigeria but globally, But hey lets focus not on my employers but on CU and CU students |
Be dere beefing ok…that is your cup of tea men….they are moving on with their lives….am sure they worked hard for their grades, burnt the midnight candle, listened in class and all…, and am sure they’l do just great….Just watch out 4 them Am sure the ones that worked under you were d 3rd class ones The firm i work for employs only 2.1 and above and all d CU students (4 in no) we have with us (one first class and three 2.1s) are exceptional performers) |
Great to discover that this thread is still alive |
i cry pretty easily; when watching a movie, when reading a novel, sometimes when am really frustrated, when i hear sad news, when people pour out their heart to me, when am overwhelmed |
opokonwa:Well I have contributed significantly and positively to this thread, I never wrote NLNG test but when I stumbled on this thread I was intrigued, a group of intelligent people coming together to keep their dreams alive, I occasionally dropped a line or two to encourage all hopefuls. When the final list came out, I dropped a line or two to congratulate the selected ones, even when they went to London for training or whatever that was; I also dropped a line to congratulate them. I also encouraged the few that were not selected. When Tommyex was recruited later on, I dropped a line to congratulate him on this thread. So I think your statement first and foremost is unfair…. I always come back to this thread to pick a line or two statements which I feel may be useful to me, my career, my life and to check up on you guys My line of business is consulting, business advisory to be precise….did you guys discuss anything about that……let it be that I dint contribute positively? I just felt appalled that this whole thing has degenerated to this level and if by voicing my concerns I offended you, then …… accept my apologies ok? |
OAU (IFE) graduated 9 first class students in economics dept (2006 set) so why are people pissing in their pants, because CU graduated 20 first class students…if a school like OAU can produce 9 first class student in a dept…then CU with their excellent academic standard (superb lecturers, conducive environment, minimal distractions, maximum encouragement etc) IMAO should produce nothing less than 50 first class per dept…. First class is not a biggie….its just that many people go to school and forgot why they went there in the first place….all they are interested in is sex, wild parties, “belonging” Instead of hating I will advice forum members that are still in school to face their academic endeavors squarely…the labor market is tough and with a grade less than a 2.1 it will be very tough to get a good job. On that note I will love to wish all the first class CU students and all other recently graduated students the very best of life offerings…, go and wow the world ok? P.S I did not graduate from CU |
Once upon a time, this used to be an educative and interesing thread, cant believe we are still fighting |

Rani is pretty but she's got nothing on Aishwarya Rai |
Happy birthday to him. MJ is a great man and his music will live after him, |
its not a waste of time to me cuz I found many lost and forgotten friends via face book. It’s a great way of keeping in touch and keeping track of what happens to people I care about |
May their souls rest in peace. May God comfort their family members and give them the fortitude they need to bear the loss |

Depends on what he wants and what unit, If its advisory Accenture's advisory is better vthan PWC, If its accounting fxns then PWC is the way foward |
Strategy in Nigeria is hot cake, PWC, Accenture, KPMG all have business advisory units that deal with strategy, Nextzon Business Services has a very strong strategy units and they arre sweeping most of the strategy jobs in Nigeria now, Go to their website and apply, I work for one of those companies i mentioned But the hours are really crazy i assure you, deadlines are crazy, For your experience in my office you will be on bout 6Million per annum Cheers |
