KPMG's pay package for a beginner is far better than most banks,
while this is not true…KPMG is a great place to work, looks good on the CV and you have the opportunity to harness your intellectual skills. Congrats and welcome on board

So why bother with Jesus?? I think his gigg is getting way too old right?? Oyedepo is more likely to get Gods attention than would the name of Jesus abi?? No wonder God answers their prayes better than he does that of RCCG, Deeper Life Bible Church, Redemption Ministries, all Anglican Churches, All pressbyterian, Methodist, Catholic and other such churches abi!!

What God do you know Oyedepo worships?? How do you know his powers are not diabolical?? Do you sleep with him at night?? Have you been privy to the good books to find out if his name is in it??

Mt 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Have you tried his spirit??

1John 4:1 ¶ Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

2Th 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
I agree with you whole heartedly

While Its not bad to say the God of ……whoeva! Focus should not be placed on man, GO, Pastor, Whateva! Focus should be on Christ…, by saying in the name of the God of the GO…, i feel its drawing unnecessary attention and fixation on the GO which shouldn’t be so!
RomanceRe: Does A Broken Home Affect Future Romance? by uchetobi(f): 10:24am On Jul 10, 2008
of course fine, there are disparities in our up-bringing, but we’v identified that and we talk about how we will bring up our kids (when we get married), also he had a lot of emotional baggage, but I guess 2 a large extent iv helped him carry them and I can say he has healed in a lot of ways…, and he is not really d same person he was during the earlier days….at least emotionally
RomanceRe: Does A Broken Home Affect Future Romance? by uchetobi(f): 10:21am On Jul 10, 2008
Yea, coming from a broken home do have some funny effect on romance, my bf is from a broken home, when I met him he was unnecessarily defensive, highly secretive, very wary and skeptical…but with time he overcame that. (we’v been together for almost 5 years now) he is now so sweet, trusting, caring, loving, tells me everything.
So the other party has to be patient, tender and understanding, un-pressuring etc

TravelRe: Where Can I Buy Quality Gold In Lagos Or Naija by uchetobi(f): 8:39am On Jul 10, 2008
@poster. Gold is everywhere but the cheapest place 2 get it in naija is kano, or kaduna and abuja(cuz they are weighed and u pay according to the weight in grams) …, a gram d last time I bought at Kaduna (in Feb,2008) was N3300/ gram. Romania gold is not good quality, go for Italian or English gold.

Outside Nigeria I buy gold only in Dubai….its cheap dere too….so gd luck

BusinessRe: Nigerian Banks That Advertise On CNN by uchetobi(f): 11:08am On Jul 08, 2008
Epiphany:
Sorry, i would love to comment on this thread. I AGREE TOTALLY. With the situation going on in Nigeria, i believe that if HALF OF ALL THE BANKS IN NIGERIA come together, they can tackle this electricity problem, and tell the governement to go to hell. Then, people will begin to derive the benefits of having these banks around. I can only remember how Ajose Adeogun street on V/I used to look, yet, Zenith owns almost all the buildings on the street (a little exageration, i know). It took them so many years to wake up and tar that street, and yet they were making so much money off the nigerians and the economy. What are all the other banks doing with their money? Sponsoring politicians? They should build refineries, power stations, etc
damola1:
Who says you shouldn't dream, but stop dreaming like hiltler!, they are killing us!

if you reside in Nigeria, look around you, see the effects!! of their "dreams", the poverty is very evident.

In fact, I ask again, why do they need to open a branch in ghana, or the UK?,

We need this money, or you no like good thing?, if this country is better and we have the basic good things of life, constant electricity, good roads, cheap and affordable water, that dream they wish to go to ghana or UK to achieve, all those investors they want, will come begging.

Are you telling me, these banks cannot delete electricity problem?

OK, typical case scenario, why does Zenith need to go start visafone, why not create a new NEPA!!!, or a NEW refinery!!!,

This country is run by you and I. Look at this simple story line; as far back as '76 when OBJ had power, we have been complaining about our economy, at this time Bello Osagie, UBA big boy only received a bachelor's degree from cambridge, which means, he might have began feeling a soft hardship of what we are feeling now, and continue doing so, same thing with Jim Ovia, he only got a BSC in 77, now, what does this say?, it means they once felt a part of how we feel, and they worked out something which landed them in banking, the then critical question is, IS THIS HOW WE WILL WORK OUT SOMETHING IN 10-20yrs time? and forget about Nigeria?, and how will our work affect our developing our economy?, as meagre as what this mega financial institutions, IF so, when will Nigeria begin to develop?

Obvsiouly, we all know people in power will continue to put their families and friends there, so, that one is a hard nut to crack, saraki will put his son, and his daugher, and so will OBJ, it's only natural for the greed to pass on, however, the non-goverment sector, which we dream of, what'll be the effect on Nigeria as a whole?,

kai!!!!, anyhow sha, nothin dey happen.

@ Jairzinho, I thank you for creating this thread!
Sad that people think like this

BusinessRe: Nigerian Banks That Advertise On CNN by uchetobi(f): 5:19pm On Jun 30, 2008
I guess the whole point to it, is to put Nigeria on the map, besides the banks are expanding, most of them are into regional expansion, it was in the papers today (Punch) that GT Bank has opened in the UK, so , i guess the banks are looking beyond today and now, they are looking at tomorrow and except you have the blueprints or the strategy documents of thebanks, you cant tell how big their dreams are.

i hope that answers your question

CareerRe: ACCA Or ICAN: Which Is Better? by uchetobi(f): 5:05pm On Jun 30, 2008
asamuel:
Hi all,

Do not be decieved by whatever agreement ICAN enters into with ACCA. No agreement can make ICAN qualification acceptable internationally because it is a local body. I wrote ICAN up to Intermediate level before I dumped it for ACCA because I realized it would not equip me to perform at a global level. Currently, I am at the Professional Stage of ACCA. I started from Foundation without exception because I read Economics in my Undergraduate in Nigeria.

I am currently in the US doing my MBA and also sitting for my ACCA. Wherever you are in the world, you can sit for the ACCA exam and get job with it. Like people have said, ACCA is harder than ICAN but made easier because you have more than enough resources to aid you, although with cost. Moreso, ACCA equips you to practice globally.

ICAN is seeking for agreement because they recognize that ACCA would soon outperform them in their own country. If you have the money and you are prepared to study hard and perform seamlessly in any country of your choice, please go for ACCA.

Thanks,
Samuel.
Well until you qualify and get a job with your "ACCA" degree over there, then you will be in a position to talk, i have two friends with their ACCA and 2.1 from kent, they searched UK tire for job, i dont think ACCA confers upon you a specified advantage, the global job everyone is shouting self!!!!!!!!!!is it easy to get, huh?abeg!!!!!!!!!!
