SweetHearted: I am from a family whose first born is a female. She is followed by 3 other females. I am the 5th child and the last born is also male.
When we were younger,my sisters use to beat us because they were older and stronger than us. The eldest sister will beat the 2nd child to the last child.The same with the 2nd child. She beat the 3rd to the last child.
So I was brought up under authoritative females.
This has affected me because I find it hard to accept a gentle lady.
I only feel attracted to authoritative and violent ladies.
I find such ladies so attractive that I have never and can never date a girl unless she is authoritative, stronger and more assertive than me.
I always want to be close to women that behave like my sisters when we were younger. My sisters loved me but they showed the love through inflicting of pains.

Greetings from here. Just needing a piece of positive counsel here. It has been subtle and recurrent but I decided to share this particular one.
My wife travelled for a burial with my kids without my knowledge. I travelled far away for work and call home everyday. Just recently I called very early in the morning to tell my wife I will be coming home by weekend,she somewhat sounded surprised and said instead of me coming on Friday I should come on Sunday.
I didn't say anything,I pretended not to be angry with that. Yet I immediately did a cash transfer for feeding and balance for the kids school fees that same morning we were discussing.
Later in the evening,I expected her to call and update me on the fees payment,but I didn't receive any call,I then had to call but her lines were all switched off,at this point I was worried especially when I couldn't talk to the kids.
I then called a neighbor to help me check if they are at home only to confirm they travelled for burial which the neighbor got to know from a phone conversation between my wife and her sister.
At this point, I called my wife's brother only to confirm that they were having a burial in their village, which I am not aware of,even as an inlaw.
Right now am very upset and I don't want to act in anger,please how can I react to this conspiracy between her and her family carrying my car with my kids to a distant village for burial without my knowledge.

I was driving home yesterday after work and a lady (average looking) flagged me to stop and i decided to stop and gave her a lift. I asked her where she was going and she mentioned a bustop before mine and i said lucky you... We had a lil chat as i drove her and she seemed really fun, We got to her bustop and i offered to be taking her to work in the morning since she stays close to my place. Then suddenly her face changed and she asked the annoying question "Oga what do you want from me?".. at that point i was dumbfounded and sad at same time. But i had to quickly smile and said "nothing" then i drove off.
For me i find it sad, a lot of people are not used to good people doing good things without wanting anything in return.

BLUELemon: From time to time you hear men talking about weight loss. You hear them talking about their female friends having gym time. Some go to the deliberate extent of playing you videos of women in the the gym.
If you are observant enough, those people shown in the gym are actors and actresses acting out a script. In fact, to top it all off, they use male fitness trainers to dress and act like female and you the unsuspecting audience get to marvel at the flatness of their tummy.
Don't fall for it, even the women amongst them are not yet mothers hence the near perfect tummy you see on tv.
It's absolutely natural to put on weight once you are into motherhood. Motherhood coupled with being a career woman gives less space for gym time.
I am not saying you cannot excercise. Excercise is very good for the heart. You look beautiful enough with your weight and if you want to excercise, do it sole to impress yourself. Know your limits and mind your heart beat.
The men that emphasis weight loss don't even have any gym they go to. Don't let people body shame you. Weight is Nature Weight is natural.

Fuckingmallam45: A lot of people tend to celebrate Rawlings because the optics are good. Yes, he came to power via a millitary coup detat but left as an elected civilian president. He stressed financially judicious policies, struck down on corruption and overall actually did more to develop Ghana than anyone since Nkrumah.
But these actions do not make one a Revolutionary. A revolutionary challenges and attempts to change a system in place that oppreses or otherwise subjucates. Rawlings never tried to change the system in place, in fact he only wanted to make the preexisting system “better", and like I stated, some of his policies ended up hurting Ghana badly down the line.
At the crux of it, he either lacked the balls to challenge the West (like a certain Nelson Mandela) or simply just had great ideas but not a transcendental leader by visionary proclivities (Haile Selassie etc). Thus there's little to no chance why the West will ever see him as a threat. It's not like Rawlings was actively challenging for African control over commodity prices, the debt trap of Neo-colonialism or any other facets which represent the continued domination of Africa and Africans by the West.
In my opinion, Rawlings is so overrated, I guess he has a really good PF team. As individuals like Murtala Mohammed, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Ken Sawo-Wiwa, Winnie Mandela, Steve Biko, Robert Saboukwe and Amilcar Cabral deserve far greater credit and adulation than JJ Rawlings. My opinion though

travelwaka: Ibadan has always been one of my favourite locations, after covering all the top tourist attractions in Lagos and visiting over 20 beach destinations in Lagos, I felt there was a need to cover other states. My mantra has always been one state at a time. So I set off to Ibadan. I have so lovely experiences in Ibadan. I have heard about Agodi garden but never paid much attention to this place. I feel Ibadan is one of the most underrated tourist states in Nigeria. This state is full of so many potentials. I have visited most of the tourist attractions in this great city. Agodi garden has a very rich history and it is built on 150 acres of green vegetation. it was established in 1967 and was abandoned in 1980 after it was destroyed by the popular Ogunpa flood disaster.
I noticed most of these Government-owned tourist attractions are not travel blogger friendly. So I was not allowed to use my camera and almost got in trouble for using my phones. We have a long way to go. As a sharp Lagos guy, I had to threaten them before they calm down just like the kid telling his mum to calm down. One thing I usually do whenever I visit a destination. I would ask for the do's and don'ts. They asked for some ridiculous amount if I were to use my digital camera. So I asked if I could use my phone they said no problem. I went in and I observe everyone watching me as I was taking pictures,. Then one of them walked up to me and rudely asked me to identify myself. Then I told him he has no right to ask me such questions and if he was curious about what I was doing that there are better ways to go about it and that if he acts up I will make a couple of phone calls and he will be in trouble. Well he got scared when I said that then I identified myself as a travel blogger. He then explained that some people often come and write trash about them. Then I told him with the way you spoke to me do you think I would give you a positive review?
Anyways we later became friends and I continued snapping because you guys deserve to see the world through my lens.
