I am sick and tired of a certain set of people always tarnishing our already dented and battered image abroad.

This is a fallacy. Big dicks do not equal sexual satisfaction. They are more instruments of torture than anything else, but it's all about preference. Some like it big, some like it sizeable. However in my own opinion I feel that it is a sexually loose person who will cheat because of sex. When you have many body counts and have sampled different dicks and pussies, your become greedy.


I don't want to believe this. I feel it is more about interest and excitement. The dramatic people like drama, and if their partner is unable to provide that drama, they look outwards.

Another reason is lack of attention. When you don't give your partner the right amount of attention and TLC, the temptation to cheat is there especially if they meet someone who gives them that attention they crave for. While you are busy having your mood swings, there is someone out there chewing your bae like biscuit bone.

All in all, a cheat is a cheat and they look for even the flimsiest excuses to cheat on their partners, no matter how faithful the other person may be.

The succinctness of your post is top notch as always. This is the reason I sought your input on this because of your unbiased chain of thought. Respect

Well I feel women should be in the best position to honestly answer this question as it pertains to the topic.

That notwithstanding, from my own point of view I feel some or few ( notice the use of the words some or few and not referring to All ) cheat when they are in a relationship for anyone of the following reasons:

1. Finance - they might be feeling their boyfriend or spouse does not give them enough money to take care of their needs. So they augment their finances by going out with men in exchange for money et Al

2. They might not be sexually attracted to their partners or feel their partners are not up to par with them sexually ( they might be nymphos ), so they cheat with someone very good in bedmatics or start the endless quest for big d*****ks to satisfy their urges.

3. They might feel their partners are too soft ( or as our nairaland brothers call them: SIMPS ). So they are not sexually attracted to them and instead look for rough bad boys instead.

There are other reasons I can't recall right now, but my good friend Ishilove should be able to add more. Cheers

The advice I always give family members and co-workers when they ask such questions is this: start with what you have. Don't listen to naysayers. If you have 4m then start with that and you will be amazed how with time your house gets completed. Once you start building your drive will increase resulting in putting in additional resources to the project.

If I had listened to naysayers 9 years ago I would not have completed my duplex in Lagos. I say start something now. Cheers.

That's to show u how bad the economy and Buhari led administration is to the health sector. Speaking from experience i know how tough it was for me to survive after graduation, despite i was a "so called" doctor in Nigeria. Every young doctor is writing exams to leave the country. And i can remember how many of my colleagues wrote those exams and some ended up depressed after several attempts. There are a lot of depressed and frustrated doctors in Nigeria today but many people don't know, and it reflects in the way they relate with patients and even junior colleagues. Those senior doctors acted under greed and frustration. Shame on the cow rearer in Aso Rock. And to those senior doctors frustrating the junior colleagues, i believe the system programmed them that way and they will never see good.

That's what really shocked me. How can a medical doctor be earning a measly 150k salary a month? A whole medical doctor with their many years of training?

I still cannot bring my brain to fathom it. This country is useless.

The fact that a woman is a housewife doesn’t mean she is jobless and/or a liability as you people call it. Being a housewife is a job on its own. Do you know what it means to take care of the kids, cook and tend to the home affairs? Do you understand the monotony that accompanies the role of a housewife? A housewife is a homemaker and as well a home manager. And if she's a competent and energetic one, that's perfect.

Do you understand that a HOUSEWIFE can as well make money from home too? Do you know some housewives live better and more quality lives than you that run the usual rat race of trying to meet up to society's standard of being a career and industrious woman?

In totality, this means that she is likely to have a better home than her counterparts who are always out of the home because she is always present at the home front and for the kids.

For me, there are no DISADVANTAGES.

Side note; you are allowed to have your opinion(s). Don't force yours on me or make me see reasons why your reasons are superior to mine. And if you say that housewives are being maltreated or cheated on, then Ataga's wife should have been adored and be a monumental piece of worship by her husband. If you marry a man who's conscientious, kind and humane, you will know peace. Working-class or not, you will be disgraced and trampled upon by a man who doesn't understand how to treat a woman right. The advantages and disadvantages depends on the kind of man you married. Please, let people do whatever works for them.

My advice is simple. Find like 5 single mothers with two kids. Ask them what they would do in this situation. Since domestic violence is not involved. Emphasis on domestic violence. Value yourself, build your self esteem, never be desperate with/for any man.
From an early age, have a vision of your independent self doing well without a romantic partner so that you don’t spend your life chasing a man (or men) that has lost interest. You can be single, successful and happy. Marriage would just be jara.
Get as much education and/or blue collar training as you can. Build yourself up before jumping to marriage.

Don’t go and get pregnant in poverty, do your suffering alone, not with innocent kids.
Never stop looking good, remember that poverty and stress will age you real fast. Do the absolute best you can with what you can afford.

Young men:

Have a sound plan for your future and stick to it. Sex is not worth future years of poverty induced lost dreams and frustrations. Don’t end up using money for your GRE, your master’s, your trade,/business to buy diapers and baby food for unplanned pregnancy.
Beware of girls that are willing to shirk family planning/contraception. You may already be targeted to become a baby daddy, whether you like it or not. Some girls are simply looking to hook somebody, anybody, rich or poor, ready or not.
If you did not intend marriage, don’t be forced to accept a baby mama to move in with you. Consensual sex is just that, don’t be railroaded into marriage.
If you are still struggling, flee from girls that are ready to get pregnant and “manage with you.” Let her manage without adding extra mouths to your already lean budget. A girl that is soaking gari with you and getting pregnant in poverty is not likely to be an asset.
