Even if you are 50, you can still cope provided you like programming. Your love for programming has to be more than money otherwise you will quit halfway.

You have started well, but I will advise you go into any javascript framework, (react, Vue, angular js etc). Once u understand HTML and css, don't waste ur time going too deep. For website WordPress is d way (basics in css and php will help) . For Web applications Javascript (react) works for me and I use php laravel for my api / backend.
There are so many templates available already so u won't be writing much HTML/CSS

Please I just want to ask a question. Nepa install a prepaid meter in my house over three and half years now and last month they brought bill for me again, after which they charge me for stopping the bill and I paid them for capturing the meter so that my house details will be on the meter I did all as they say, but to surprise again they started bring bill with the same house details the last payment made since 2018 how possible it is Sir? What advise will you give me

It is not about the salary of the man. It's about being an hustler. Anyone that tells you salary is enough to survive or sustain a family is just deceiving himself. The higher the salary, the higher the expenses.

As a civil servant, that's my take home. I have about 4 different other hustle that bring money. I don't even rely on the salary.
