We all know baba's and osibanjo's decision is unconstitutional. Let stop blabbing and move forward with our keyboard.

I fink what we should be arguing now is if this type of Gross Misconduct is impeachable offense or not.

Our stay on this same loop for hours today is worrisome for me as a Nigerian.

I don’t know why God even created me in this Nigeria. It’s like most of us have lost morals and we condone corruption while hiding under the banner of democracy.

The CJN in question is not sacked or removed but he was just suspended and the president derive the power from the CCT order. Even looking at the constitutional quote being bandied around one can see that the excecutive can exploit that clause coz it talked nothing about suspension. He Onoghen is still the CJN pending the time he will be discharged or guilty of the offense.

Buhari has been too weak for my liking, he should have shown all this useless corrupt elite the way out because even if he dosen’t, they always term him a tyrant but in essence to me, he was totally weak.

This is the first time he will be taking a decision that indicate that he has balls and courage to checkmate these corrupt rogue we call judges. That is why I like Obasanjo, he might do wrong sometimes but he is coreageous and no one dared question him without consequences.

I don’t even wanna know if this has any political backing or not, but the main issue here is that the CJN failed to declare his asset and he even dared tell us that he forgot. If the top echelon of our judiciary is corrupt, then the justice system makes no sense.
huhhuhhuhhuh??

So there should be a total disregard for the constitution and courtshuh

It's outright disregard for separation of power.

They aren't even bothering to hide their determination to oust the CJN before he appoints tribunal judges. Suspend the CJN who wouldn't bend to your wishes, and put Buhari's kin who would then install judges who would in turn rape justice after APC rigs the election and the results are contested.

In saner climes, this ought to spark a revolution.

I swear down, GEJ was a better man and a better Nigerian than this senile illiterate tyrant. It's unfortunate the majority of Nigerians are cowardly and either shortsighted or plain stupid.

Hi Ugosample! Please read my post again.
I'm in SUPPORT of the removal of the fuel subsidy on the completion of the Dangote Refinery in 2019/2020 as indicated in my post!
I didn't say the removal of fuel subsidy is unwise. I said the removal RIGHT NOW would be unwise because it would lead to massive inflation and that would lead to serious economic hardship for the citizens of Nigeria. A serious social revolt/riots with serious unintended consequences would evolve from any government that does so. The fuel subsidy has acted as an economic cushion for the vast majority of low- income Nigerians.
Subsidies are NOT bad as countries in the Western world, China and more have all kinds of subsidies to maintain economic and social stability in their various countries.

I absolutely agree with YOU that over the years, trillions have been spent/wasted that could have been used to build new refineries.

Starting with the military era of IBB, Abacha and even the first 16 years of democracy, the 4 major refineries did not undergo regular TAM or Turn-Around-Maintainance which is supposed to be done every 2 years, and so this led to the needless importations in a country that produces crude oil onshore and offshore.

All the best!
.If that is the case
then it's ok
subsidy MUST GO

Hard work + persistence + grace + faith + X + Y + Z = Success.

You see, there are many injections to the equation they would not tell you, the 'X, Y and Z' are what you will not be told.

With due courtesy to Linda but if not for the baby mama drama, who would have known she had anything to do with a billionaire- Jeremy? And before you say she's a billionaire too, who knows how many she's had something to do with back then to get those adverts on her blog, raking in millions and billions for her ? Who knows the many contracts she might have gotten years ago by codedly having something to do with the big boys? Yet you have a fellow blogger who's wondering why she's not making money after being so long in the game as well. For someone to buy herself an engagement ring with her family publicly celebrating her engagement which was a lie tells you the extent to which these guys can go to deceive gullible followers.

This applies to not only Linda but many of the rich folks out there, they become motivational speakers without telling you the X,Y,Z and then make you get fustrated after hustling real hard with no results. The X,Y, Z could be a rich uncle, wealthy boyfriend, rich girlfriend, dating a rich top boss, government connections, Aristo, fraud...... whatever.

Point is, don't believe every crap these celebrities dish out to you especially on IG. Just pray your hustle pays off too.

My concern is not even the car and the spoon-fed Cuppy but the beautiful interlocking and well paved work and drive way.

Oyibo and finishing!. Attention to details in artisan works is always topnotch. Give Sheriff or Kazeem interlocking job to do, he would do rubbish. The company that molded the interlocking will pack sand full every where.

By one month, one side of the interlocking will go down while the other side will be up. After three month, weeds and unwanted grasses will take over the whole place.

our standards are simply too low in this country. " Leave am like that mentality" is killing detailing in artistic works.
it's the mediocrity that is rife in Nigeria that is to blame for all this

You hate him so much that you don't want him and you don't hide it.

You are ever willing to pull in down, even to kill him if you can.

His brothers are ready to give their lives to ensure he doesn't go down.

In all sincerity, if it were you, who will you care for most?

Nobody is saying you must love and support him, but it is EVIL to expect him to love and care for you
the first question you should ask is WHY so many from there don't like him.
They are not all stupid

Buhari's antecedents are to blame.

That said

it's not a question of what you like

You owe every Nigerian responsibility as president, whether they like you /not.

Doing otherwise is wrong

in America, some states vote red ALL THE TIME (e.g. Texas) and some states vote blue ALL THE TIME (e.g. New York and some other eastern States)

But no matter who wins after wards

he/she must be president and fair to ALL AMERICANS

But Nigeria has not gotten to that level of maturity yet

still backward and primitive undecided

So much of what you wrote is so wrong.

Almost all countries practice a floating exchange rate. Countries have fled a pegged exchange rate system or very tight peg because it is associated with crisis. Whether it is Chile in the early 80"s, Mexico in 1994, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia in 1997, Russia in 1998, Brazil in 1999 or Argentina in 2001, the lessons learnt were bitter and hard. A pegged exchange rate is a recipe for misery.

Nigeria has had favourable trade balances for well over a decade so I wonder where you get your stats from.

Who told you every country is pushing for self sustenance when Eastern European countries are dying to enter the largest free trade area in the world- the European Union and where Brexit has led to the decline of British fortunes rather than the other way round

Countries are signing free trade agreements everywhere and Nigeria is contemplating an African wide union. Countries don't grow rich by being self sufficient- they do so by focusing resources on where they have comparative advantage.

There's nothing wrong in importing toothpicks or not making a single one.
You have a very good perspective of things
