Tracypacy:
How?
Let me explain better

I come from an upper middle class family, and my family "are doing fine" by many standards, so I can afford to say I want to permanently live in Nigeria

BUT

That's not the case

The Nigerian society is so so bleeped

Money can't save you from SARS harassment, the accident at Otedola bridge due to negligence of the authorities, insecurity, useless infrastructures, fulani herdsmen, useless medical facilities, useless schools etc

so I understand your amswer

OMG

What is Nigeria becoming,
the human life now means absolutely nothing.

the life of cows is now superior to that of human beings....
The country is fvcked

That's what it has become

When one third of a country of more than 160m are advanced animals, this is the society that you get.

That's why I thsnknGod that my kids will not grow up , or have much to do with that zoo

How hard could it be to build a functional SOCIETY?

Is it not the sane brain you all have

onegentleguy:
There is a 20% gain/loss possibility within a given trading day.
To illustrate;
Assuming a stock Y closed @ N5 on a market day.
...then given the new rule for a maximum 10% gain or loss, the stock can trade at price bands of plus or minus 10% when it opens for trade the next market day.
This means that the coy can drop to as low as 4.50 (which is a minus 10% loss) or move up to as high as 5.50 (which is a plus 10% gain).
A person who manages to buy at the price band low of 4.50 and sells the same day at the price band high of 5.50 has made a 20% gain. (5.5-4.5/5 x 100% = 20%).
...on the flip side, one can also lose 20% on the same day.

If ur using an online trading platform, u would've observed that there is a 10% price boundary both on the bid and offer side of trade.

I have since highlighted these rules long before now.

Regards.
Thank you for the explanations

I appreciate

...Honeywell on full bid: One of the few lessons I have learnt is to trade fundamentals not news. Why you asked me? I see no reason why HW should not declare more dividend than they did. The only reason is because of the greed of the majority owners. However, I will buy their greed as I have learnt. They make good companies look bad and profit from the market when prices go down. I have learnt!
Interesting

but looking at the price of HW now is nauseating

The reason that our system isn't working is because of people like you and I. gods and demigods are not responsible for our misfortune in this country, our politicians are. So why not stay back and face/solve your problems

I quickly scanned through your profile and saw you are a job seeker. That information invalidates your claim of being a high earner. The screenshot you posted above is either stolen or a one off earning.

I mean, if you earn that much, you won't be looking for a job. You would simply make enough, establish your own business and employ others. Two, you wouldn't be looking for people to pay you for training.

You, my friend, are not serious. Go and apply for more jobs.
I don't understand whsts happening in this out country my brother
