Hello everyone
I made a reservation on wakanow using Egypt air, as I was at the bank yesterday to demand for PTA, My bookings on the airline cannot be accessed. It saying BAD REQUEST.
I have called wakanow severally, but they can't proofer any solution.
Have anyone experience this and how did u go about it.
Thanks.

You should make full payment of your flight before bank will process your CBN PTA. This is because the bank will confirm payment of the return ticket flights from the airline before processing the PTA.

Mind you, the bank has obligation to check the airline that you actually used the flight you have paid for the journey and returned back to Nigeria. If you don't use the flight after getting the PTA, the bank will send your name to CBN for blacklisting until you return the PTA that was given to you.

This information was given to me by my bank (Stanbic). I have used several PTAs without issues.

All the best.

Gradually losing my respect for the chairman of the company.

Firstly he was indebted to Access Bank, I think Seplat will take over the debt.

Secondly he has another debt of about $80 million to Zenith Bank, the debt is about 7 years.

I have been having cold feet buying Seplat shares, now I know the reason. grin

I remembered about ten years ago I returned after 8 years in China . As I landed in Abuja they were scrambling to know what I was doing there. Told them I was teaching in a university as a professor in CRIMINAL JUSTICE . They were like welcome sir clear clear etc
I went to Police headquarters in Abuja for some police clearance they wanted to extort me too and I told them that I am a professor of Criminal Justice and they were like please just pass.
During my departure they searched my luggage thoroughly like I was carrying drugs and asking me to drop something. I was like I came back for someone’s death and they were like just Dey go . As I reached the next exit the immigration ask me where I am going I was like what a stupid question and I said China. He was like okay any proof and I didn’t want to stress myself I showed him my resident card and he was like Na so the china own Dey look like?
Okay bye sir .
As I walked in to the departure lobby I was saying that there should be a tremendous overhaul of the system in Nigeria.

The bomb in all the reports so far is Total Plc.
Eps q3= N15.67k against N3.06k last yr
YTD eps=N39.43k against N1.47k last yr.
Total might get to N55 to N60 eps at the end of the year. For me, they don't have business in sub N500.
This is not a recommendation to buy.

Am with OkomuOil plc

Please I need answers to a few questions. Would appreciate if anyone can assist with answers.

How long does it take on average to get a CoS after accepting an offer from an employer?
Employer mentioned background check for 5/6 weeks before CoS is issued. What does the background check entail please?
Is there anything I can do from my end to speed up the process?
Were you required to submit bank statement as part of your visa application?

Thanks

References....have they responded?

You will be the big man in the village and you will spend money on the less privilege that looking up to you in the village. Do you also consider medical costs in the village. Lagosiana bring their aged parents from Ogun, Delta, Ekiti, Anambra, Kwara and all over the country in order to get affordable Medicare in government hospitals

Instead of looking at cash as the basis of retirement, I look at having income generating assets or investments that are valued at 25 times the annual income of the retiree

One needs to start investment early to achieve this....

This amazing. So the management of this company have no idea how to expand the business with the cash they have than to share it out for consumption by the owners and shareholders.

What I'd prodigal sons in the name of CEOs come and lavished the funds?

Shareholders will continue to suffer?

Let them share it, everyone will decide what they want you do with theither funds grin grin

Outstanding Q2 performance especially from the Company.
Overall, a very good result........

Before anyone will refer to the group result, pls check under "Other Asset", you'll see where a bulk money was spent on Asset.......this should be the % buy-over of AIICO Pension, which is translated to expansion and more future profits......
FCMB is undervalued in my opinion.......

Lol. This is Mcy's layman's interpretation........anybody wey sabi read "notes" and analyze better fit help us out the more......... grin

Why should anyone expect sudden overnight turn-around in UPDC by the way?
With time and continuous efforts from the management, the company will move to profitability.
