odutolasodiq:I've tried that on several occasions but have never been invited for any interview or sort. Do you have any link or a tip on how to go about it? |
internationalman:Smile! Thanks for making me smile |
OgaVoltron:Thanks a bunch. I'm learning a soft kill, but the problem is that I need to pay my daily bills... On keeping tab on the business section, I've been doing that. But most businesses I've been interested in didn't work largely because of money. But nonetheless I'll keep searching |
I created this post in career section many days ago, but I didn't get the needed suggestions that was why I created it again. |
Please Nairalanders, I will appreciate your opinion |
Age...............31 S.S.C.E..........Math. E8 NCE...............Economics/Political Science (Credit) B.A.(Ed).........History/International Studies (2.1) My Issues: 1. My course of study is almost irrelevant in this age and place. Where there is any demand for it, connection has to be involved(civil service). 2. I have very little job experience in the formal sector. Most of my experience is in the "street"(I will highlight my skills later) 3. Not having a credit in math, even when I have it in all other subjects, seems like a big issue now. 4. As for teaching as a career, having a degree in History whereas the subject is no longer taught in Nigeria, and having NCE in subjects that cannot be taught in the junior secondary, is another issue. 5. Having skills without the certificates, and experiences that can hardly be recorded on CV. My Skills: 1. Extensive knowledge of the practical use of the internet. 2. Computer hardware/Software Solution 3. Mobile phones hardware expert. 4. Talented oratory and communication skills. 5. Extensive knowledge of people and cultures. My Problems: 1. I have spent a lot of time doing very many different kinds of job just to sustain life and learning many things instead of focusing on one. 2. While I can never run out of ideas, money (capital) is a big challenge. 3. Location is a problem. Going out to physically look for job while not neglecting networking is ideal. But when you stay where there are no job opportunities, and everyone too is "searching", and you still have to pay your bills, then there is a big challenge. Summary: I have tried a lot of online business, but what I need is something that can give quick result. I can do any kind of job as far as the result is obvious, be it mental, psychological, physical or otherwise. Conclusion: With this my qualification, what recommendation(s) can you give me? I'm very open to every positive suggestion. |
uncleck:So nobody wants to give suggestions? |
All this send email/send WhatsApp... I no do again. If you won't bring the details here bye bye |
maxzzo1:It's not young shall grow issue. Every bus going to PH, Umuahia, Aba and Owerri carry the same group of passengers. At control post (owerri), they do transloading and swapping. It doesn't matter the company |

OluwabuqqyYOLO:Freelancing is better off as a side job unless you already have some other sources of income |

I once received more than 300 strokes at a time. G.C.U. It was abnormal not to be flogged for a whole day. |
This story of three FUTO boys and a Nekede Poly girl that died during sex romp following alleged drug abuse does not make sense to me. Ordinarily it wouldn't have been an issue to me, but it seems everyone is buying into that story without anyone asking any questions. Does it make sense that four young blooded persons died almost at the same time for the same stupidity? Can all four of them be just stupid at the same time? The first person climbed the girl, he died, the second person pushed him aside and the same thing reoccurred and the third person... How? What exactly killed them? |
This is good news. But my fear is that anything that touches Nigeria is automatically Nigerialised. So I will not jubilate yet till I see result |
That is how naive people will take bloggers' advice and ruin their lives with bad investment. If you're reading this, I beg you, never start a business because a blogger wrote about it. Most of the things they write are things they know nothing about. Run whenever you hear things like "Keke people make 7k daily" "computer/phone technicians make 10k daily", " how to become millionaire working from your house without spending money " If you discover a business that can pay 10k per day, you won't sell it for 1k per day. Information marketers are like those bet scammers in Nairaland |
I desperately need 50k to sort out myself... I can't explain now because I can't think straight right now. The decision to post this seems to be the last attempt to life. please if you can help, check my signature for details. I'll make a detailed post if I survive this. Thanks in advance to whoever will help. God bless you'll |
Is this on front page or I'm dreaming? |

Ishilove:mind you, it's only in the Bible that you find characters writing their own shortfalls. In this thread, most people at fault have not opened up and you should hardly expect them to do so. Moreover, the initial set of people that commented made this thread uninviting. It shouldn't have been on front-page until it had gotten reasonable contribution. so don't start thinking that these ones are painting themselves innocent |
blessedqueen:Yea. I wasn't born this way, but I've successfully made myself this way |
I don't think anyone has the privilege of provoking me to such extent. I maintain my cool 99% of time |
To start with, your faith, your conviction, your declaration, your 'I claim it', does not really affect what you will become materially. Now to the topic, many famous people have lived and died. No amount of posthumous awards, memorial or remembrance will benefit them in anyway. So I care less about what anyone will want to remember me for. Also, millions of people have died with no one ever mentioning them. At death, whether you died famous or not, makes no atom of difference. Living a fulfilled, satisfying and happy life is all I crave for. |
A1PHA:In this part of Edo state, illegitimate money is the norm. But the issue is that I don't subscribe to throwing money in the air; it's so childish. |
Brown14:LOL. The mystery of God does not lead to confussion and chaos. If God wants to bless me with free money, the helper will demand for my account number... What if you're hit by a vehicle while trying to pick the money or you hit a pregnant woman...? |
