CelebritiesI Overcame The Hitherto Biggest Temptation Of My Life Today. by uncleck(op):
Through my sojourn in life, I've met and overcame many temptations such as graduating without sorting, refusing to join yahoo gang even under intense pressure etc. But among them all, I've never been pressured to do things against my principles like today.

I am a corps member serving in one of the popular cities in Edo state (not Benin). I did my final clearance yesterday. I was paid my last allowance since November 28. I'm waiting for the POP on the 13th. You can imagine how much I need right now.

Around 10am this morning, I went to town to withdraw some money, so I stopped at Fidelity bank, the crowd was too much but I had to wait. After a long wait the only machine that was working stopped dispensing; money had finished in it. I moved to Eco bank, and on getting to my turn, the same story. I had no choice than to go to UBA even though the crowd there was terrifying. I was happy that two machines were dispensing cash.

UBA is opposite a very popular hospital in that town, and Fridays here are for burials. After spending a little while on the queue, my attention was shifted to the other side of the road where heavy traffic had built up. I was annoyed because the traffic is avoidable, but people here see burial as a big ceremony, so they cause unnecessary holdups with their burial show.

My attention came back to the ATM when people from the other line were struggling to queue up behind us; the other machine had stopped dispensing as well. In less than five minutes, ours also stopped. At this point I had spent 3hrs trying to withdraw just 4k with no success. I had only Union and First bank to try, so I started trekking to Union bank when the real temptation started.

The motorcade that came out from the hospital few minutes before now is made up of several kinds of flashy cars; the C300s; RX350s; Venzas; X6s etc. They started throwing wards of N50 notes in the air. I was walking on the other side of the road because there was no oncoming vehicle because there was holdup too in front, but they were throwing the money at both sides of the road. I told myself I wasn't going to pick this. In less than no time, crowds have gathered to pick money. Interestingly, money was raining from almost all the cars.

In less than no time, it was N100 notes, then 200, then 500. At this point I knew that I was in a big shit if I don't double up. Before I did, I took some shots though.

Bike men left their bikes, even hawkers dumped their wares by the road side and started packing money. It was really money rain.

When I got to Union bank, only one out of the 6 machines were paying and the crowd was reduced because many people had gone to pick money.

But the bad news is that money finished too before it got to my turn. I immediately started trekking to my lodge and just got home now with no money and no food.

Have you overcame serious temptations before? Share with us.

you don't need much to start this business, I can tell you that I have tested and trusted this business, though I do it on a part time base, I do other work from Monday to Friday but use Saturday only for Laundry. on a Saturday alone, I make between 7-9k, I operate from home for now. All you just need for this business is a just a stand by generator of N60-70k at home with a good electric iron, rubber plastics for washing. Sunlight Detergent, I formulate my Soap and stain remover myself, presently I have about just 10 customers, at worst, I must wash and iron for 5 sets of these customers a week, because of the nature of work I do, i don't like over labouring my self, I also don't want to go and keep prospecting for new customers pending when I know I am ready to quite my other job. I have never disappointed any of my few customers thats why they have that goodwill in me. When it come to Laundry which involve the use of water to clean clothes or garment, and dry cleaning which involved the use of chemical, I am good at it, I also deals in Batic, Adire, Tie and dye and also dying of all kinds of clothes, my few customers left their big time laundry men in town and have built trust in me, some were even asking me to leave my current job and face drycleaning fully, but I gat my plans. For graduates who are still in between job, I will advice you to give this business a little shoot, even in my dream, after my paid job, it's either laundry or dry cleaning or nothing else. If you are fully into this business, the business will gives you time to runs other things, example you wash your clothes from 7am-10am, you can sun dry them, leave them to face other business, then by 4pm, they are dried, you can start your ironing, that's if you are a small starter. Its Laundry and Dry cleaning all the way.

Foreign AffairsBreaking News: South African Jacob Zuma Steps Down by uncleck(op): 12:04am On Jan 10, 2018
JOHANNESBURG – Jacob Zuma, his political power destroyed by the mixed feelings, dubbed as incompetent and unfit by the South African majority, including his own allies, announced Tuesday that he’s resigning as the 4th President of South Africa.

The clock was ticking on President Jacob Zuma’s presidency; the Sunday Times reported that the newly-elected deputy president of the African National Congress (ANC) David Mabuza held talks with the resigned South African president on Saturday and to avoid any ouster, three days after, Zuma has decided to unseat himself.

In an emotion-filled, nationally televised speech this evening, the culmination of months of pressure amidst immediate protest and concerns from his own party officials to remove him from office, Zuma said the newly elected leader of ANC, Cyril Ramaphosa would be sworn in to succeed him at noon on Wednesday, 10 January, 2018. “The leadership of South Africa will be in good hands,” Zuma said, his voice wavering.

The President referred only briefly to the political wrangling and scandal that have befallen on his administration currently.

The newly-elected deputy president of the African National Congress (ANC) David Mabuza said Zuma was no longer the “right person” to lead the country.

Anti-apartheid struggle veterans had also called on the African National Congress (ANC) to recall the president.

Mr Zuma has been under growing pressure following a major cabinet reshuffle and economic crisis.

It’s believed this has led to South Africa’s credit rating being cut to junk status putting more pressure on a troubled economy.

His decision to resign his administration is presumed to eschew any brink of certain impeachment that might result in possible removal from office.

“I would have preferred to carry through to the finish, whatever the personal agony it would have involved, and my family unanimously urged me to do so. But the interest of the nation must always come before any personal considerations.”

Zuma concluded the 10-minute address with no good day, just a prayer:

“May God’s grace be with you all in the days ahead.” With this, Zuma ended his career in South African politics.

He also alleged to have ended an unprecedented constitutional crisis, coupled with corruption and taxation flaws that had divided and crippled the nation financially and dangerously slowed the work of government and compelling some prominent figures in his administration planning to resign with immediate effect.

“As we look to the future, the first essential is to begin healing the wounds of this nation,” Zuma said, “to put the bitterness and divisions of the recent past behind us and to discover the shared deals that lie at the heart of our strength and unity as a great and as a free people.”

Zuma did not directly mention Ramaphosa and Malema’s increasingly loud cries for his resignation.

Most of the demands had come from African National Congress espcially during his meeting with deputy president of the African National Congress (ANC) David Mabuza on Saturday.

But he did concede that he had decided to resign when it became evident to him that he no longer has sufficient political base from his own people to continue” in office?

“From the discussions I have had with congressional and other leaders on Saturday, I have concluded that because of the constitutional and economic crisis, I might not have the support of the Congress that I would consider necessary to back the very difficult decision to carry out the duties of this office in the way the interests of the nation would require,” he said.

“I have never been a quitter,”-Zuma said “to leave office before my term is completed is abhorrent to every instinct in my body. But as a President, I must put the interest in South Africa first. South Africa needs a full-time President and a full-time Congress, particularly at this time when we have new ANC’s leader, with the problems we face at home and abroad.”

“To continue to fight through the months ahead for my personal vindication,” he said, would have absorbed the time of both the President and Congress when their “entire focus should be on the great issues of peace abroad and prosperity without inflation at home.”

Although he had been under enormous strain, particularly just after the recent ANC’s presidential election – the President was described by an aide as “unbelievably serene” this evening before his speech.

Aside from a voice that occasionally faltered, he appeared in firm command of himself during his televised speech.

“This is one of the numerous gracious times I have spoken to you from this office,” Zuma said as he opened what was to be the most momentous speech of his entire career in South African politics. “In all the decisions, I have made in my public life, I have always tried to do what was best for the nation.”

“For more than a quarter-century in public life,” he said, “I have shared in the turbulent history of this era. I have fought for what I believe in. I have tried to the best of my ability to discharge those duties and meet those responsibilities that were entrusted in me. Sometimes, I might have succeeded, and sometimes I might have failed.”

In what was almost a cry from the heart – perhaps the closest to it that this most private of public men had ever uttered – Zuma said that he was leaving with “great sadness” the pinnacle that he sought for most of his adult years. It was a pinnacle whose prerogatives he clearly relished.

But on this, his most tragic day, Zuma showed no self-pity, nor did he assail his foes with the harsh recriminations that had become his trademark since he first ran for office.

Instead, he sought to emphasize the accomplishments of his years in office.

He expressed the hope that his resignation would hasten “the process of healing which is so desperately needed in South Africa.”

He called on South Africans to rally behind Cyril Ramaphosa to give him “help and support” to bring the nation together.

“To those who have stood with me during these past difficult months, to my family, my friends, to many other who joined in supporting my cause because they believed it was right, I will be eternally grateful for your support.” Zuma said.

“And to those who have not felt able to give me your support, let me say I leave with no bitterness toward those who have opposed me, because all of us, in the final analysis, have been concerned with the good of the country, however our judgements might differ.” Zuma concluded.

I usual make payment either by Paypal or Payoneer. You can always use Paypal linked to you Nigerian bank card like GTB naira mastercard.

Well, that will need more inspections to find out by visiting customs website to know but if you deal on clothes and electronics, i dont think you will have any problem at all.

How do you purchase from 1688.COM?

https://cbu01.alicdn.com/img/ibank/2015/309/359/2295953903_1247313150.jpg

It is pretty easy and straight forward. If I were to buy a product from 1688.com, assuming that we have all settled for one to buy, the next thing I usually do is this... I copy the link to that product===> https://detail.1688.com/offer/539853624207.html?tracelog=p4p <===== for instance and send to my Chinese agent. Let's assume our Chinese Agent is kejibabe

Then kejibabe will then go over to 1688.com, using the link you gave her (they are mostly women agents) and use her account details to pay for the goods.

While at it, you would/should also send the address of your Nigerian shipper (let's assume that your Nigerian shipper is ottidex) to your Chinese agent (kejibabe), so that while she is making the payment, she will fill in the address of the shipper (ottidex) in the form so that the goods goes from seller to ottidex(the shipper). Often times, this takes just 3 days to get to shipper.

The next thing you should do after dealing with your Chinese agent (kejibabe) and confirmed that the goods has been paid for, you contact your Nigerian shipper (ottidex) and alert him that you are expecting a certain goods, you give your shipper same name and phone number that you gave to your Chinese agent (kejibabe). Once ottidex receives the goods, he will contact you with prove of receipt for the goods.

For me, this conversation is usually done via whatsapp. My Chinese agent has moved to skype since China stopped whatsapp but some other persons still use it to communicate.

Generally, shippers have two types of shipping: The Cargo and Express and they have variant prices. The express will deliver your goods to Nigerian within 48 hours (aside festive periods as we currently have which defiles the norm and takes longer than was the case.) while cargo is cheaper and takes 10 days to deliver to Nigeria. Choose anyone that suits you. Express charges $8/kg at Base One (the shipping company I use) while cargo cost $5.5/kg. Then they have clearing fees attached to this which goes for N450/KG for express and N360/kg for cargo.

Once the goods gets to Nigeria, you will be sent a text message to come and pick your goods and will be charge extra if not picked after 3 days of receiving the text message.
Thanks a lot for your selflessness. my questions are
How can I get a trusted Chinese agent?

how can I make payments to the agent?

how do I know if the product is not a contraband in Nigeria?

assuming I order some pieces of an item as sample, will I always get any quantity I want later?
