One thing I know is that anybody that think SE isn't developing need his or her brain ransacked.

Go to Awka, Onitsha and Asaba and see what we call massive development.

Three things I think are the main reason while Igboland is witnessing unprecedented development.

1. Boko Haram in North have really help to fuel development in Igboland though it still have the negative side.


2. Nnamdi Kanu of Radio Biafra has really instill to much panic in people, many think Nigeria is crumbling today or tomorrow.


3. Igbophobia and anti-Igbo sentiments being propagated in social media is really shaping how Igbos are seeing Nigeria. Igbos are the most bashed group in social media, now some people have started withdrawing their numerous engagements with other tribes because you don't know who is habouring evil for you.

Ndigbo need to go home, enough is enough

We are not developing. We havnt even scratched the surface. There is too much to be done.

When y'all were praising Jonathan for neglecting all federal roads in Imo you expect the villagers to be happy. There businesses have been ruined by the poor state of that road as their palm oil market was demolished at 1st and they moved to sell on the road side but yet again the road is not accessible. Seaports are important but doesnt mean a country cannot survive without it. That igbos are running from their homeland because od lack of seaport is absolutely ridiculous.

I cannot claim my stats are accurate but I think Ngwo town has more poultry farms than most Igbo towns. I can count at least 10 big farms with more than 20,000 birds dropping eggs daily, all for commercial income, especially at the hilly Enugu Ngwo villages. Phinomar and Ozokwo farms lead the pack, with more than 30 others.

Phinomar is massive and 100% automated

Actually Nigeria needs to start afresh and ask ourselves if we need to be together in an open referendum. If so on what political structure. In all honesty Nigeria needs to be torn down and rebuilt if agreed. Nigeria's problem is that there's no real agreement by its people so there is no oneness of purpose.

Note there are some African countries that are much saner than Nigeria so i doubt its a black thing.

Budget is just a financial plan which can be a hit or miss. Thats why we have budget surplus and deficit which you didn't even consider in arriving at your figure. I'm talking about the inflow of income into Anambra state coffers for 8 years under Peter obi. This is not about budget, stop diverting attention here. Budget is irrelevant to the discuss. You said Peter obi received only 640 billion for the 8 years he ruled the state which is laughable.

Obi claimed he left a certain amount for someone and this person has never for day acknowledged it and yet you want us to believe obi just like that? Obi has not even been proven. He has not even released any proof to show he left any money, now why should we believe him? If obiano doesnt come forth and declares he received any credit from obi's administration, that statement remains nothing but a hogwash. Obi must account for the monies he stole from us.

Tell us how much Anambra recieved during Obi's tenure. Till then kagame's argument makes more sense.

While i supported Sullivan Chime for his sterling service, his biggest crime against Enugu state and people was the criminal abandonment of this edifice. Imagine if the new Governor Ugwuanyi also abandons his 95% completed state secretariat complex simply because Sullivan Chime started it? What waste, what crime it would be on Enugu state to have spent billions only for the complex to be abandoned for childish political reasons.

I hope Chime covers his face in shame for attempting to allow this iconic building and the entire hotel complex, museum and other structures there to rot. It was the worst shameful act of Sullivan Chime, which will forever be pointed to as proof of Chime's petty & childish mindset.[/size]

In fairness to Chime, he did complete/add to some of Chima's projects like buildings in parklane, esut and maryland estate etc. I stand to be corrected though.

All these painted and tree lined streets your posting here na ewezim iwe, what is happening to industrialization in Enugu, what is happening at Emene, 9mile and other Industrial areas of Enugu.

Let's go industrial for some time, am glad Gburugburu is about completing the EICC and am extremely happy over the development.

But am more interested in Industrial Enugu, Leventis just completed assembly plant in Ibadan, howfar is ANAMMCO faring, what about Eternite, Rocanna, Niger Steel et al.

The first and last time I visited Emene was in February 2009, I was impressed with what I saw, different types of Mercedes Benz in a land area larger than a football field.

Please what is happening to Industrial Enugu

Why wait for industrialization? Is it not human beings like u dat industrialize?

Not on federal road when in opposition during JonathN's reign of impunity. The issue now is for us to support Buhari and ask for our federal roads be done since our State is in ruling party. I will equally write my series of letters to daily prints and internet blogs demanding for action from President Buhari. Thats the much I can do as a good citizen that voted him.

Peter obi reconstructed Onitsha -Enugu road at onitsha axis, a federal road. Since Okorocha is Buhari's boy boy he should reconstruct that road and ask his master for refund.

I dont know why its hard for people to understand that land belongs to no one but the creator. People move to a place and claim it but thats just about it. Well we are no different from other territorial animals eg the lion who moves to a new territory, marks it as its own and fights off "invaders".

The president is chasing after certain people - guilty or not guilty of corruption - of the last government to put to jail, instead of tackling Boko Haram.

If a true account is prepared, Boko Haram violence must be making Nigeria lose half a billion dollars a month. But Buhari is more interested in chasing after the last government officials he believes to have stolen money, perhaps less than half a billion dollars, and monies Nigeria may never recover again.

Abacha died intestate -suddenly without any will - that's why we are able to recover parts of his loot.
