Happy sunday nairalanders.
I moved to a new area(Student area) and decided to attend a nearby church.

These are what I noticed.

-- I was the only one that used scarf.Even the choristers and the female ministers didn't use scarf.

--Almost all the female members are putting on trousers,ladies that put on gowns/skirt are not up to 20%.
I was even surprised that the two female ministers and the female choristers also put on trouser to climb the church alter.

--During prayer intersection,I noticed everybody were praying in tongues and it seems am the only person not filled with the holy spirit to speak in tongues.
Even when we were asked to pray on our offering,people still prayed in tongues.

And it just seems I'm odd among them or is it that am not modernized?

Lol. The main reason I no go back to CPM itire/ikate branch. My friend invited me to his church back in 2011, me wey no even like to go church before. After much persuasion, I decided to follow him. Na so service start o. After one or two bible verses na offering dey follow am. Mathew 22vs 24, stand up for developmental offering, Genesis 9vs12, stand up for church building offering. Luke 14vs14, stand up for youth levy. After the first two offerings, I no bother to stand up again. They gave offering more than 7 times that day.

Reminds me during the era of fuel scarcity some years ago. i was able to buy 50litres of fuel which i was managing. nepa was acting like demi god..

on that faithful night. they mistakenly brought the light around 11pm and i woke our last born to go switch off the generator which was at the rear end of the building where everyone keeps there generator.

few minutes later, dude came back inside and switched the knife changeover to nepa and he jejely went back to bed..

around 6am, i woke up to do some penetration testing only for me to be hearing the sound of a generator runnin outside.. i was like, hope no be my generator dey on so...

I decided to go outside, lo and behold, dude just removed the supply cable that feeds light fron the generator and the generator has been running all night without any load.

I woke him up and he denied ever waking up and telling him to switch off the generator. I couldn't cry!!!

I currently work in a bakery I was desperate when I took the job because I need money to sort my final year project in school. I work basically 24 hrs everyday cos I usually sleep there and it's only on Monday that I don't work because I told them I'm a student and I'll need to see my project supervisor in school.. A friend called me on my way to fix an issue with my car, he spent hours with me at the mechanic garage. Afterwards, I took him to a pub so we can chill, drink and have food. He literally told me to give him the money instead to get pampers for his child....I came to understand, it was fire on the mountain from madam that chased him out of home running helter skelter.

I also have a friend that flirt alot, but he is financially buoyant. He first made his current wife a baby mama, when she was craving for him to wife her, he didn't. He wifed anyway when she least expected. She know his sexcapade but won't confront him on that but rather putting blames on us his friends for aiding such. I had to give the guy some distance at one point because of that. Something she knew even before the guy wifed her. Infact, she is a major beneficiary since he finally married her out of 100s. Now, this lady ain't confronting this guy because..He already build and furnish his house before marrying her, his children attend one of the best schools around, he set up her brother in business. His birthday is alway big because his wife always invent new ways to sweep him off his feet.
