When my friend, church members, or even school career development day ask me what i do for living, i BOLDLY straight answer to them, "I am freelance web developer to work at home". Sometimes I answer them saying," I am web designer working at home." Or "I am a private contractor working at home to create website design for small business and individual clients".

They say,"oohhhh!!!!" Some says,"wow!". Some says,"I never see anyone working at home making living like that".

I never get tired of telling that I am web designer or web developer! Nothing to be shamed of. Those people are completely IGNORANT saying never heard of freelance webmaster/web designer working at home. They think of BIG COMPANY, forgot about those people who work at home!!!

For me, nothing wrong with printed out the scanned copy of invitation letter via email prior your visa interivew appointment due, because when someone is not able to send by fax due to difficult dial up the international fax number on the fax machine or internet fax from the USA.

This is my opinion! To be honest with you, I never seen anyone, Nigerian tried using the scanned copy of supporting documents for US visiting visa requirement. That is why I look out here NL posting daily basis.

I also never seen anyone here approved US visiting visa entering to the US successfully.

You are the first person asking this, hoping you will continue post here to let us know if you are succeed approved US visiting visa in order for me to inform my Nigeria friend who is on the same boat as you are.

If US embassy does not recognize the scanned copy of invitation letter, then why don't you print out that scanned copy of invitation letter prior your visa interivew appointment due?

It is not hard to do. US embassy prefers original faxed document of invitation letter or DHL/Fedex delivered invitation letter instead of emailed scanned copy of invitation letter via file attachment directly that is unacceptable.

4. Ask her sharing her experience testimony, could be school, farming, history, or family.

I think that is it! If you take pictures, be sure taking double exposures one for you and one for grandma once u back to the USA to create your own two scrapbooks, Send one scrapbook to your grandma via Nippost (spelled) or DHL/FedEx. In my opinion that you should have your valid bank statement to cover your two weeks holiday vacation defraying the cost at below:

--lodge/meal stay (hotel, room rent, bed & breakfast, where you stay and eat for 2 weeks),
--round trip airplane ticket,
--public transportation (city buses, trains, taxis, subway/rail) expense,
--emergency medical expenses in case of you get injury yourself,
--emergency fund in case of you get jail to bail out youself, pay court fines if get caught/arrested or stranded in airport
--and your own allowances to buy something for yourself.

MAYBE 3 months worth of your paycheck you deposited on your bank account for your two weeks vacation you FORBADE to withdraw.

Your trusted friend or relative or fiancee with legal UK or US permanent resident/citizenship MUST WRITE an Invitation Letter with required photocopied of first 3 pages of their passport and their signature sending fax or DHL/FEDEX/UPS to you. Your trusted friend or relative or fiancee will be your sponsor while you are entering either UK or US to stay their place.

If you do not have friend/relative in the UK or US, then you DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH finding well-reputated travel agency to sponsor you AT YOUR OWN EXPENSES in order to book your tourism plan (hotel, plane ticket, and transportation---all-in-one package) for you. Your travel agent will give you receipt of your tourism package after you paid in full via FEDEX/UPS/DHL as your supporting document for Nigeria Embassy visa interview appointment.
