I am not Nigerian. My friend-cybercafe owner can speak both UK and Nigerian language, have been to Lagos Nigeria for 5 years.

I am study learning Nigeria culture before I can fly down there Nigeria for my feasibility study on my written proposal submission of "Hybrid Solar-Wind-Biofuel Renewable Energy on electricity solution for Nigeria" for my own microfinance investment/venture capitalists.

My friend is real cybercafe owner. So i am his middleperson to talk between two clients in the quality of their satisfactory. It works well!!!!

Almost all of free web hosting DO NOT SUPPORT PHP/MySQL database. Only the ones are paid web hosting to support PHP/MySQL. You need to look for PHP-support paid web hosting on Linux/Apache server to upload your PHP-based email script.

Actually, no excuse for this lady who had been lived in the US for 18 years as registered Nurse and mother of 4 children in Fort Worth, Texas to know better about not to carry any large amount of cash at the airport. For US/Foreign custom inspection in the airport(without declaration), they will suspect for possible illegal drugs selling making money carrying large cash to the airport.

Also maybe she fails reporting to the IRS (Internal Revenue Service, US tax return) how much she make money both her employment and investment on saving account. It leads to tax fraud that will cause her deportation.

You all 6 friends must have formed a partnership agreement running a business. All 6 partners must share equal 100% profit by 6 split profit earning. (16% each equally) A partnership agreement must be drawn by your own attorney.

One CEO president - earn 16% profit
One CEO vice president - earn 16% profit

Answer to your question why most girls/women/ladies still want more from their loved ones/spouses especially in the area of finances.

Because those female people whom has lover/husband has lack of understanding the foundation of their own relationship/marriage, worry too much on finances, too much depend upon someone else. They CANNOT be themselves independance to take care of themselves. They are too much insecure and too clingy on men who has money.

Look at me myself a single divorced mother of 2 children fed up with my parent who depend on my finances too much. I am very much independent of my own, i live my own apartment, have my own car, and pay my own financial obligations. My parent has their own jobs and are 43 years happy marriage, it does not make a sense to me my parent beg me for my money. Yes I do feel struggle with between my finances and my parent. So therefore, i move out 3 hours far away from my parent. I feel peace and able to manage my money wisely and extra allowances for myself and children.

Look I am deaf!!! Is there something wrong with my parent worry about finance and borrowing my money all the time? This is ironic!!! I never understand what married/engaged ppl have problem with finances.

Yes I have done that what you mentioned posting above. Mostly it works except for only I receive errors saying "Did you mean: XXXXXXXX"  on nairaland search after entering person's username. That annoys me.

The person whom username on YIM insists me that he/she is official Nairaland member.

I prefer use members list that are sorted by usernames in order to click the letter[A-Z] finding proper username to click its hypertext. Seun chose using members list that are sorted by # of posts.

The What, Why, and How of Microfinance

WHAT is microfinance? "Microfinance" is financial services for the global poor.

Financial services are provided by "microfinance institutions" (MFIs) or "microlenders", generic terms for the estimated 10,000 diverse entities such as commercial banks, NGOs, credit unions, finance companies etc. These services include providing business and housing loans, insurance, pensions, and deposits. The prospects for this industry are strong since the gap between demand and supply is great. Currently, an estimated 4 percent of the overall global demand for microfinance services is being met. Although estimates vary widely, the potential global microfinance market is worth approximately $300 billion. The commercialization of microfinance is gaining momentum as non-profit charities convert into regulated financial institutions. Nonetheless, an estimated 90% of the (non-deposit) capitalization in microfinance is public funding in origin, although often filtered through a private intermediary. Recently, we have seen public agencies work to guarantee layers of private investment funds into order to attract commercial investors. Will an asset class emerge?

WHY does commercial microfinance work? Poor people around the world produce very high marginal returns on capital, and need financial services to exploit these opportunities.

The high cost of capital in the developing world (20-100% APR), the high demand for credit, and the low cost of labor, make transaction-intensive microfinance quite profitable if done right. Moreover, due to the low delinquency and default rates on micro-loans, the (elite few) high-performing microlenders’ earnings are stable and strong (ROA of 3-8%). There are numerous other factors that also make the industry attractive, including low systematic risk, low volatility, and strong diversification of micro-loan portfolios (Source: Blue Orchard). Of course, there are many significant risks as demonstrated by the fact that only 3% of microlenders around the world actually turn a profit.

HOW to invest in microfinance? Participate in one of the many funds providing returns to investors.

The microfinance universe of funds is fledgling. Nonetheless, well guaranteed returns of 0-7% annually are offered. Unfortunately, you cannot ask your money manager about investing in microfinance. Responsible capitalistic investment in microfinance is still labor intensive in that each fund requires individualized contact.

Relatively large minimum investments further limit your options. Almost all of the funds have a minimum investment of $50,000 dollars. Two funds that accept small amounts are PlaNet Finance Fund and Calvert Community Investment Notes, while Dexia Microcredit Fund and Deutsche Bank Microcredit Development Fund are examples of funds with significantly larger minimum requirements.

My comment for new or existing individual plan to get microfinance investment:
In fact that you are required to submit fully written (8-25 pages) business plan with marketing/financial (profit/loss) plan explaining the details of why do you want for obtaining your starting funds of capitalistic investment in order to start or expand your business or non-profit organization. Just like you apply for bank loan application to obtain their bank money to be borrowed with their interest rate. You have to be smart and honest to follow the requirements of writing business plan submission and to convince the capitalist impressing your sound marketable business plan to be WINNER!

Have you heard of the word "google"? I have seen over 1 million search result found on the google search engine for your project. Try to search for "undetectable antivirus algorithm" or "computer antivirus algorithm" or "generic antivirus algorithm".

I think you don't know about Christianity life/culture. You don't know the meaning of fellowshipping among Christian and non-Christian people after the worship services ended. It is nothing wrong with it!

Some single Christian female talk to married Christian male whose wife are present at church or vice versa---all know each other very well as long-time church members. What if they are all same school they all grew up? What if this single Christian female is volunteering in youth ministry to babysit those married couples' children where married couples know well? What if this single Christian female is homeless where married couples is willing to take her home to their place very friendly.

Nothing wrong with my Pastor chitty-chat with beautiful Christian women while the first Lady (Pastor's wife) chatting with young single man. Because both Pastor and his wife has LICENSED MARRIED COUNSELOR degree and they have rights to check out caring those Christian people's emotional needs unconditionally love---the same way as Jesus gave unconditionally love to everyone else NO MATTER WHAT!!!

In church environment where everyone fellowship after the service ended is safe talking openly where everyone see each other, unlikely one of them (single Christian female and married Christian male) take to the private room somewhere alone behind everyone back upstair that is different story (suspicious)!

So this ain't forbidden paradise to every bare Adames and Eves on the Fruit Garden.

In my church in the USA, after either the worship service or visitor guest announcement ended, we Christians and non-Christians people no matter which genders they are do full-frontal friendly hugs as brotherly love to make them feel welcome/inspired/rejoice feeling or just say good-bye until we meet again.

It does not mean that we are initimate relationships or lovers. It is just like handshaking to each other!!! There is nothing wrong with it! We are not what white Christian folks do (never full-frontal hug) in their white Baptist churches!

Some other churches do not fully hugs---stiff, quiet, no crazy praising-shouting to please God!!! That is based on different strokes to different people in different religious!!!

Let me clarify you, this is not a DIPLOMA just like secondary school diploma!!! You don't know the difference between diploma and degree. THIS ARE BACHELOR DEGREES as well as Master Degree, and PhD everywhere online education.  This is your opinion to disagree about online education, you stick with old fashioned way (traditionally), that is fine for you, not for me!!! That is your opinion, not mine!

No, this is not the reason why I took online education. I am not that kind of paranoid or phobia type of person. You don't know me well. I am single mother of 2 children and cannot afford sending children to the expensive daycare center with my meager low salary or not trust hearing relatives to babysit my children---and i cannot leave my full-time job if i go traditionally college, that's why i go online education at my own self-paced flexible schedule as full-time student anytime (i don't want part-time student, that's where I come in).

In the past i went traditionally college (Gallaudet University, the world's deaf university in Washington DC) back 25 years ago earning my bachelor science degree in Computer Information Systems. Deaf uni has lack of regular hearing college education background that lag far way behind, their communication/education level is too low for me not matched with my natural gifted and talented child. All courses were too easy for me---all 3rd-5th reading level, i mean baby education i hate the most.

That's why i go for online education in a hearing world, once my both children turn teenager i return schooling again to re-polish my advanced web development. I got my 2004 Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication while continue running my own web-graphic designing business with technical and programming skills i already pursed in the past.

Not only i heard about college shooting, i have been heard too many times: stalking, raping, murder, kidnapping, drunk, fratnity/soronity dazing, goes on about university everywhere in  the USA all my life since i was born (TV, newspaper, my friends/family, rumors). Nothing you think it is safe!!!

My parent still worry sick about me facing reality, bec I am deaf, my parent think not safe for myself being alone in the city leaving my parent behind. My parent must be crazy!!! lol!!!

There are lot of steriled men and some rich men prefer to marry women who do not want to have children, could not bare children or already have children---but not want more children.

I have my male friend, who has his bad childhood experience that make his phobia/paranoid of raising children, prefer that type of women you mentioned to date with and to get married with.

Nothing wrong with it!!! Sadly in the US unsteriled men refused to do so, like AmerOmoge has said, to want children to carry his family name.

Mostly online education are done by contracted tenured professors from traditionally universities to work at home teaching largest students online. Traditionally universities only limit 25 students per classroom, while online education has unlimited students take various courses from 25 to 200, or even 1,000 students per professor. Online educators earn bigger money than traditionally educators. Online education has cyber-library, cyber-tutor, cyber-academic advisor, goes on, that you don't have to make appointment to see your academic advisor, go to the library to research something, or walk into tutor's place to study weak assignment in a traditionally universities.

For example in online course:

Algebra Section 1 class Tu & Th 1am to 3pm Mr. Teacher A (200 students sign up)
Algebra Section 2 class Mo & W 9am to 11 am Mr. Teacher B (200 students sign up)
Algebra Section 3 class M-f 1am to 2pm Mr. Teacher C (1,000 students sign up)


Because Online education is SELF-PACED flexibility class schedule you choose 1 hr each day class(Mon-Fri) or 3 hr class per 2 days (Tues and Thurs). It has class agenda, teacher's office one-to-one text chat (IM), hand-on labs, and group discussion via login system per student, all are graded-based system. Deadline assignments by teacher are varied. But in my online class, most Saturday at midnight is common deadline assignments, 2am morning last minute due is 5 point take down credit putting a grade (ouch).

Pretty safe from sexual harrassment (professor have sex with students---sicko!!) and school shooters like Cho in Virginia Tech!!!!

When you access the university's extranet system for assignment/agenda, you also will get a course's chatroom reveal whole classmates name, email, IM, etc similiar to Nairaland forum's "who's online".

Let's give you a big picture! This is only example.

What if Nigeria President decide to FORBID all Nigeria citizens not leaving Nigeria for good (abolish immigrant system---closed all Embassies in Nigeria), and all Nigeria universities has all outdated courses, what will you do? You already have computer, printer, speaker, and software applications. You stuck studying outdated courses to earn your degree while outside the world already advance technology far ahead of you.

Does it make sense to you?

Yes, that is correct that I am not Nigerian. I am fully USA born on the East Coast area learning the depth of Nigeria culture for 9 months (last year) now and just join Nairaland member since this Feb this year in preparation of visit Nigeria for my feasibility studies of Rural electrification hybrid renewable system proposal with the emphasized in solar and wind generator replacing fossil-enegry generator. This proposal is for venture capitalists to invest their money on my proposal starting funds including my accomodation needs in exchange for return on investment. I already gather needed information as well as few Nigeria professionals to work with me. Alot of North, South and East Africa---Ghana (one West) had been done successfully on solar and wind energy in the rural residential community from the largest financial contributions by US and UK supports. (lot of private wealthiest ppl to donate their money on them), Never seen Nigeria get one!!!!

I know lot about Nigeria beside 419/scammer I ignored what USA say negatively using google search that's how i found Nairaland forum to reveal the truth.

The problem is that I am not quite sure that Nigeria do understand fully about disablity law (civil rights for disabled people), Nigeria has its own disability law i find very limited and weak unlikely to the US's American with the Disability Act of 1990. Finally, when I first time joined this Nairaland forum, I find those people were make fun of my deafness, but it does not hinder me from reading and posting Nairaland. Refer the bible scripture, Leviticus 19:14, it says, "You must not curse a deaf man. You must not put something in front of a blind person to make him fall. But you must respect your God. I am the Lord."

Do you know that in the US's foreign language in Sign Language course at both high school and college/university are very popular? The job: Sign language interpreter salary made average from $20,000 to $60,000 a year. There are shortage of sign language interpreters everywhere for 25 millions deaf population in the US.
