First shooting incident started at 7:15am in the morning. Everyone (students at Virginia Tech) are sleeping or getting up hitting shower in preparation for 8am or 9am morning classes.

It does not have time for students checking their email to receive warning message.

Second shooting incident started at 9:40am.

One of among 32 dead is named Erin Peterson, a student of Virginia Tech. She was my active church member here in Virginia. Virginia Tech is more than 200 miles southwestern Virginia from my currently residence and church---more than 4 hours driving.

Please continue praying for my church member, Erin's family the Hogan and Peterson in the spiritual deliverance of healing processing in the name of Jesus Christ.

U.S. urges Nigeria to fix problems before election

The White House, noting reports of voting irregularities in Nigeria's state elections, urged Africa's most populous country on Monday to fix problems before Saturday's presidential polls.

The Domestic Election Observers Group, a nongovernmental coalition, said weekend state elections in Nigeria were marred by abuses and intimidation, and many polls were unfair.

"The United States takes seriously reports of voting irregularities and election-related violence during this past weekend's state and local elections," White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said.

About 50 people were killed in widespread violence that marked Saturday's elections for 36 state governors.

"We would urge that officials address any problems in order to ensure that Saturday's presidential election, that those polls are free and fair and conducted in an atmosphere free of violence," Perino said to reporters.

"These elections set the stage for an important milestone, as they will lead to the first civilian-to-civilian transfer of power in Nigeria's history at the end of May," she said.

There is no difference no matter where you live at: Nigeria, Africa, Europe, USA, UK, Asia, or whatever it is. Most men are NOT interested in dating a single mother with children (out of wedlock or divorced or raped victims), all men CLAIM THAT it is "EXTRA BAGGAGE" when they see a single mother with children.

I am a single divorced parent of two teenager children at age 14 and 19, not easy to date man under the special circumstance, I was granted by the court hearing to change from sole custody to jointly custody to my parent taking care of my children while I move out living in the large major city where second largest deaf population reside at with a good reason: high technology employment.  My parent and my children reside in a very small farming rural town that does not have public transportation and still lags far behind in computer technology (no technology job available for me in rural town). In a major large city/suburban area, the housing (both apartment leases and houses) costs OUTRAGE PRICES higher than my rural small town---3 hours driving.

I was married to bear two children with the same father, but their father never VISIT to see his own children in both my marriage life and divorced life. My ex-husband does not know where I live at, because it is too far to meet me at my place. So he now rarely visits my children at my parent's home without me at present!  WHY BOTHER men whom i dated in the past WORRY about my children's father? Their father (my ex-husband) is out of the picture in my life---does not bother me and my children.

Ironically, i still don't get dating decent men while i live alone in my apartment I take my own responsibility on finanical obligations at my own expenses FOR 3 YEARS! It doesn't work for me!!!  At least, I am very much happy to be independent single mother whatever I want to spend my quality time with my children in TWO HOMES i commute in 3 hours driving back and forth, WITHOUT HAVING A MAN sharing with my love life!!! I still travel on a vacation cruises/dining out in a different cities, fellowshipping with my own limited trustworthy friends, and chatting with my children electronically communication both instant message with webcam, pager/cellphone, and email on balanced daily basis. _{(Yes I do want a man I want to get married!)}

Remember Jesus is with me wherever I go refer to my favorite Bible scripture, Proverbs 3:5-6---knowing that i was  not alone.

Do I look TOO OLD for my real age? Do you see any wrinkle of my face? Do you see my hair grey? Yes, I do have some grey hair somewhere with my reddish-brown permed hair. I never dye my hair all my life.

I always tell people my real age, but the problem is no one believe me!!! I am so proud to be 20 years younger than my real age! I am tired of men who is older enough to be my father's age that attracts me sometimes, i turned them down flatly.

I don't normally find guy from church service, because people from church are hypocrites, liars, and gossipers! I don't trust them! Neither nightclub is not good place to date with! Nor popular socialized places where everyone go is not good place to date with.

By the way, you said your career is Telecom engineer, maybe you should go to the museum looking at females surrounding telecommunication history area to bump to start chitty-chat about telecom stuff. Seeing how much female know about telecom thread/gadgets relating to your career. Going to the amusement park, finding girl who like to have fun such as shooting a water gun on balloon racing, or playing pinball/video games. Seeing how intelligent girl play the games for fun!

Suggest you to observe ladies who wear proper sexy clothes without provocatives or business conservative clothes, they are decent hard-working smart ladies, but watch out for cheaters, deceivers, or money-greeders. I believe this is plain ignorant and stereotypical just like @my2cents, @Nalijah, and @ldollier has said it all.

For me, I learn so much to understand Nigeria especially Yoruba culture that brought me so much interesting to make new friends differently. I learned that African-American and African are quite different. Still today, i learn why other people hate so much to each other despite that we all are blacks sharing the same Christianity, same spiritually, and believe in ONE GOD!!!

Nigeria reminds of my deaf people---same long-suffering and struggling to battle for our freedom and civil rights from their oppressors and ignorants.
