Sadly, he himself has stated very clearly in the Bible that he will disown many who are fooling themselves doing other (selfish) actions and claiming to be Christians, his followers.

There's nothing easy about being a Christian. We can only pray to him and try our best.
Everybody should judge their actions and see where they stand with Christ, before the day of judgement.

Regardless, many have copied his actions and words in their daily lives, have died and are in heaven with him enjoying eternal life.
