But one-thing-one-thing, the baby died and she was too embarrassed to admit it. Village woman now, one kind isreal, Iraq place. Na im pikin remain for belle. When they operated on her and took out the baby, it somehow looked like this. The stomach had calcified the baby, as in entombed the dead baby with calcium. TVSA:Who's fault? Before Nigerians travel overseas, they are already speaking foreign accent in Nigerian Airport. So the Westerners never get to hear our accents since we always trying to speak like them, instead of ourselves. They themselves speak like themselves in their country and continue speaking like themselves when they visit us. Gateman, driver, housegirl, cleaner, all try to form foreign accent once one single white person comes over here. Even market woman sef, go de form phonetics. Who's fault? |

9jaRealist:Oh? So where are the people? We are looking at the boundary of two separate functional towns with a road separating both. People can transact their full business on either side of the road. The road does not divide their town and they don't need to cross it. Amenities are provided on either side. The road was put there first. Both towns expanded from their city centres outwards. The houses at the edge are the cheapest houses on the cheapest land because of vehicle noise from the roads. The fence protects children living in these areas from venturing to the road. In UK, I saw fences along the railway line. They were placed specifically to prevent people trying to commit suicide. The point remains that Western nations do not build 10 lane roads in the middle of town, put fences on them and expect people not to cross the roads or damage the fences in the process of trying to do so. Don't just be in UK or US vexing for Nigerians. You have to study the people and their history. Then you will understand why certain things appear the way they do. 1 Like |

9jaRealist:In the '60, Oshodi area in Lagos was empty. The government was just building the expressway then. And they cleared off some "village" lands there. My dad lost a "village" plot he purchased there. After the road was built, they didn't stop people from going back there and building houses all over the place. The Government didn't do it's duty. And never seems to do it. They just open the back door and collect bribe from individuals who end up building markets all over ther road and hawking gala right on the road. It's not fence that will solve the problem. |

9jaRealist:. I lived in UK once and visited a few other European countries. They don't have fences on their roads. And people don't cross the roads. Why? They don't build 10 lane expressway in residential areas as we have done. Their expressway is out of town. There's no houses there. So nobody has to cross it. Inside the town, where the houses are, they have small dual carriage roads with traffic lights and zebra crossings. EXACTLY AS LAGOS ISLAND. It's called panning. Now in America, their roads are bigger. But almost everyone has a car. They buy cars using monthly payment schemes. You don't have to save complete money for car. Just pay minimum monthly sum over 2, 3, 4 years and the car is yours to use NOW. If you have car, what are you doing crossing road? It's called planning. 1 Like |

Everyone doing business from town to town, speaking English the national language and owning property anywhere within the region, Nigeria with one currency, Naira. This benefits came along with Nation building which was set up in school curriculum. Learn and sing the National Anthem and Pledge. Subject yourself to the government of the land. - Somewhere along the line, someone has messed up the plan. That is all she ever recieved from Nigerian government. Sowore, Charly Boy and co tried to get us to vote out these old politicians ruining Nigeria.
