Crime › British Woman Shot Dead By Kidnappers In Nigeria by uuzba(op): 10:30pm On Apr 21, 2019 |
From MSN Website 21/04/2019
Kidnappers in Nigeria have shot dead a British woman and a Nigerian man, and abducted three others, officials have said. Police and the British High Commission have named the woman as Faye Mooney and said they were aware of an incident which took place at a holiday resort on Friday but added that they would not speculate on a motive. Her next of kin have been informed. The Briton was working in Nigeria as a communications specialist for aid group Mercy Corps and was one of 12 tourists travelling to the northern city of Kaduna from Lagos, police said. In a statement, Mercy Corps said it was "utterly heartbroken" by the killing. Police said Ms Mooney, who worked in the west African nation for nearly two years, had been attending a party before the incident. A Kaduna state police spokesman said: "Some suspected kidnappers armed with dangerous weapons gained entry into a recreational resort called Kajuru Castle in Kajuru local government area shooting sporadically and in the process shot dead two persons, including an expatriate lady, and took away three others." Officers have not yet named the other person killed in the incident. No individuals or groups have said they are behind the killing and police are yet to identify the kidnappers. Northern Nigeria has been dealing with a Boko Haram and Islamic State insurgency and clashes between farmers and herders, in which hundreds have died. Kaduna has seen a spate of kidnappings by armed men in recent months. In a statement, the British High Commission said: "We are engaging with the Nigerian authorities, and we understand an investigation is under way." More follows...

Excuzeme: White people are coming together to lift themselves up, Black people are attacking and killing one another, to pull themselves down! Is the Blackman a cursed specie, as Trump has said?
South Africans killing the same black Africans that assisted them to get freedom from White Apartheid! Are these Africans sense of inferiority and fear so profound?
But Nigeria can change all these, if we vote-in leaders that have sense and can see into the future, not all these Octogenarians and thieves we currently have. Uncle, go and study history and geography. White people are travellers. Once people travel out of their original home to a new land, they get disciplined and make progress. All this africa, you are complaining about. We have been here in Africa since this world began, No travelling, conconquering. We are very relaxed with situation. The Native Americans (Red Indians) are same like us. The didn't travel anywhere. All the white Europeans came to America and conquered them. The Aborigenes of Australia, thesame thing. They didn't travel. The Whites got there and conquered them. |

Mix this one original yogurt with the milk. Bacteria and enzymes spread all over and make the whole thing turn to more yogurt. Freeze it and lick. There's no PhD there if you were expecting one complicated thing. |

Till tomorrow he is still owing me 10k Well, that makes him a lesser man than you. Continue your life without the N10k. Although if you want to be wicked, just be present in all his events, party church....etc. Let his just see you. Don't talk. Smile at him and talk to another person. Do this for the rest of his life. Before he dies, he will pay you that N10k. |

shevon: I can relate to this. Borrowed some cash on behalf of a family member last year September because he had an emergency. The money was supposed to be paid back in October; fast forward to February, the money was yet to be paid and the person I borrowed the money from had an emergency too, so I had to use the money I got from selling my car and another one I got from another source to pay the original lender (even though her dad died despite everything) Before I paid the money, I told the family member I got the money for that the fund I'm using to pay back was meant for me to replace the car I sold and he said it won't go beyond 1st week in March. Right now, he doesn't even call or text me and I still don't have a car. I went all out for him because he had borrowed in the past and paid back, there was nothing to indicate he would treat the last transaction like this. A transaction that was supposed to be closed out within 1 month is 7 months old now and counting, with no end I sight. It is well. Don't lend money out to anyone, unless it is an amount you are prepared to lose without complaining. If the person pays back, Thank God. If he doesn't pay back, take it like that. Don't go about complaining. |

Our problem in Nigeria is that we are foolish and easily bribed to keep quiet. I once queued up to buy a ticket in UK. There were 2 or more counters. I approached one counter and for some reason, I can't remember, my question/querry was not answered. So I decided to branch to the second counter to aks again. Na im Everybody on the queue shouted HEY! That I should go back to back of the line and line up AGAIN! These were white people. Nothing like "Abeg na" in their society. Everybody gets ONE chance. You can't be taking 2 chances while others only get 1. Yet we do this sh1t everyday in Nigeria. |
