oyb:Well said. Consent cannot have been reasonably expected to have been given if one of the parties is heavily intoxicated or asleep. There is no defence. Some Nigerians are currently in jail or on sex offenders register for life for these types of acts. If she is drunk or incapable of providing consent then walk it off. Dude is lucky not to have been arrested by now. WikiLeaks founder is currently hiding in the Ecuadorian embassy in London for nearly 4 years because he had sex with a female who consented however providing he wears a condom, during coitus condom broke. Dude knew and continued ploughing away. Female cries rape as she consented to sex with a condom. Stated case now so guys be very careful. It is a legal nightmare and he has no legal standing or leg to stand on (pun intended) P.S I don't watch BB and I am currently studying about these types of offences. |
Aaronsrod:I do not believe in your Christianity. You claim to be morally upright but you are like the Pharisee. You obviously ignored the rest of the bible. You appear to take your bible literally just like every other dimwitted bible thumper out there. Dogmatic and bereft of any common sense. People like you believed the world was flat until Gallileo proved the earth was actually spherical. Education was clearly wasted on you. The Hebrew word used in the verse is the participle of the verb (kishsheph), denoting "to practice the magical article." Deuteronomy 18:10-11 sheds more light on the issue. “No one shall be found among you who practices divination, or is a soothsayer or an augur, or a sorcerer, or one who cast spells or who consults ghosts and spirits, or who seeks oracles from the dead. However Saul in your bible does consult one which shows one of many contradictions in your bible. I can pick other verses just for fun too ![]() 1 Samuel 28 : 7 " Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and inquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor. She actually summons the dead and your God allows it My favourite, I am assume you are walking around with long hair and a beard looking like Kimbo Slice after gastric bypass or you have a haircut and shave? Here's another one for you. "Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard." (Lev. 19:27). So you have also sinned for having a haircut ![]() I can do this all day but alas you have amused me to no end but I chose to ignore you now, Oxygen Thief. Bye. |
Aaronsrod:Your Jesus and his disciples cast out demons and nowhere in your bible does it mention torturing or killing people possessed. God will never condone it and I am shocked you're trying to justify a horrible act on a poor child. You are the evil doers and God will judge you according to how you treat others. Spare me your fallacies. And you claim to know the mind of God? Abeg shift!! |
Aaronsrod:Oxygen thief!! You sit there typing rubbish in your polyester and cotton boxers!! Your bible also says you deserve to be stoned to death for wearing clothing with mixed fabric!! Anyone who accepts your type of Christianity needs to have their heads examined. The child was tortured for what?!! It is heinious and the culprits need to be punished and feel the full weight of justice. No mercy!! |
mantosa:Asking her to explain " reasonable grounds " is not the job of the police. It is subjective and should be best left for a competent court or legal experts. It is a slippery slope when officers have to explain what reasonable grounds are. Ask yourself given the circumstances if it reasonable to expect the officer to search your phone? I agree with you. The PRO does not appear to have an idea what she is talking about, she is not even coherent nor do she seem to have a grasp of the legislation or of the police powers! how the hell do they appoint these people? General Rule - Can a police officer search your phone? Answer - No. Exceptions - " Lawfully" arrested for a relevant offence and evidence relating to that offence is believed to be on the device or under a court warrant. Police officers are not forensic or IT experts and should not be allowed to go through your phone or belongings without the legal powers. You could make allegation against the officer that they tampered with or altered the evidence in question. This is not a carte blance advice. I would advice one deals with the matter safely and return to your loved ones in one piece especially in 9ja. At least cowards still get to go home and plan their next course of action afterwards. A dead man does not have that option. |
This time and age some people are still using the word "swag" ![]() |
They should have been out of business a long time ago. People appear not to have learnt any lessons from all the bad publicity and horror stories. |
Dongreat:Nairaland tire me. She is fugly. Looks what she was dragged through a bush backwards. |
Anyone salivating over her needs to have their eyes examined or visit their opticians promptly. |
Good. We should equally carry out the same actions or protests against corrupt politicians and officials at the helm of government. We demand better. Our pensioners are dying in penury and urgent action is required. |
Seriously? What is going with Nairaland these days? 2017?! and worthless topics such as this one which insults our intelligence and is an absolute waste of anyone's time? !! Others dey discuss ideas to help humanity or how to improve ones self, or how to survive the recession, how to develop the next generation electric car! Una dey discuss who had the best kiss for the dolphin? |
How is this important? |
Another irrelevant and juvenile topic Nairaland needs a new format for 2017. |
At last ![]() |
Kingzy4pep:Thanks. I applaud you for showing us another version of events. I suspected the FB story was concocted. Instead of grown men on Nairaland checking for the facts of an apparently falsified news story involving the alleged murder of another Nigerian at the hands of SA police, this thread is now filled with infantile and petty ethnocentric squabble. Read the FB post again, does it sound credible and then do your own research!! Dimwits. |
One of the dumbest posts or headlines I have ever seen!! It is like amateur hour on Nairaland these days... |
fkdmods:Well said. These people would rather sit their lazy and inept arses epousing fallacies. It is so easy for them to blame witches for their problems and woes. Welcome to the horror of reality known as mankind. |
This is yet another proof of how far we have actually dumbed our rational minds. We never find solutions to problems or issues instead people are quick make assumptions. We have become so lazy and assinine that we are hoping that God will save Nigeria. Why should God care when we treat the elderly, children and the needy in quite inhumane fashion? An elderly person who needs help is no laughing matter and you should all be ashamed of yourselves including the ones taking photographs and spreading fake new or malicious gossip. Una no get mama? Disgusting. |
Awon superior intellect ![]()

Some arguments here are just irrelevant. Question is this? And any judge worth their salt would ask - Has the accused paid back the whole sum or debt? No. If they haven't; why not? Anyone would consider his actions dishonest. I don't get the twisted or warped Nigerian ideology of finding blame on the victim. That's why we are failing ourselves. Crabs in a barrel. |
[quote author=ollah1 post=51481988]Can't you read and understand. The recipient made points even tho it could be lie. Billyionnaire made a brilliant message. Isn't it possible that you are expecting some funds from someone and he uses another account to credit u? Imagine the scenario where by its an inter bank transaction and the sender is tryna avoid the sending fees. What's wrong with Nigerians using their heads. The amount expected could be a little different from the received amount and yes it happens as a result to few thousands added to it by the sender. You and those that liked your comment are just been emotional. You relate everything to scam. He refunded half and he still responds accordingly with him. He changes display pictures (identity isn't hidden by him). What else should he have done? Steal money to refund him with the balance The complainant has taken "reasonable" steps to retrieve money which belongs to him The guy you arguing for is legally obliged to correct the error and he hasn't. Here's a scenario for the brain dead - You go to a shop, buy some goods and then given change by the seller. You walk out and at home you then discover you've been given extra. Not returning the extra sum is theft - pure and simple. Anything else will be dishonest. These are facts. |
Sounds like a " Frank" I also know with a penchant for ladies of easy virtue ![]() |
Billyonaire:Dude, he had a defence but he cannot deny knowledge of the said sum not belonging to him. He is still liable for theft. The Op is entitled to chase up his repayment albeit legally even with reasonable threats. The Bank should have taken robust action and have failed in their duty. |
Billyonaire:Dude, stop trying to sound intellectually superior. Your argument is so flawed. Fact is this is a clear offence of Theft. Once the recipient was aware of the mistake, he is legally obliged to correct that mistake i.e rectify the mistake by returning the whole sum to the bank who were in charge of the poster's account. Anything else will show dishonesty. This payment will have to be agreed with the bank. Honesty from all parties is necessary. Nigeria is in serious trouble considering all the assinine comments on this topic. |
The thirst is real |
Remember the IPhone Bendgate? All the rabid Apple haters including Samsung were literally queueing round the block to show mock Apple? Samsung fanboys are quiet about this on Nairaland? Iphone 7 release una gree us rest? Let's be mature about this? ![]()

May the pain and anguish of this elderly mother be visited on all those supporting her degrading treatment and assault. Thunder fire una!! Human beings are vile. See them claiming to know the mind of God and denouncing rational thinking and science as evil or foreign. Galileo una kill am because he postulated that earth is spherical instead of flat as demanded by the religious nut jobs i.e Christians. Mary Slessor had to preach against killing of twins in Nigeria because una been dey abandon dem for forest say dem evil? The Norwegian lady in Calabar has adopted countless orphans who abandon and label as witches? Na una go church pass. Please spare me your religious rantings or bible quotes. What is the use of religion if it does not advance humanity and help your neighbour. After all your bible says love thy neighbour as thy self and this is considered the greatest lesson from Jesus. You sit here typing crap meanwhile you studied mathematics and sciences at school and they can be considered "witchcraft" too. Morons. |
These blogs and their juvenile topics. You " flaunt" something. You can't " flaunt" someone as the heading erroneously suggests. |
All the Apple Iphone critics gonna pretend this didn't happen.
