Too many evidence against Burna

No case is ever open and shut. A lawyer worth their salt will find weaknesses in this case.

The police have to build a solid case to take it to court.

How was the confession obtained? If it was under durress or coerced under torture, it will be inadmissible in court.

Language expert for wetin? The text is in plain English and except they were speaking Dothraki or Klingon, a language expert is irrelevant.

The text has to be understood in context to the message. At the moment if that is all the police have, then they are on a long ting

Phone records are not that easy to obtain trust me and a judge will need to look at the police case then decide.
It should be for more serious offences such as murder sha. Too many hurdles to jump and it is a bureaucratic nightmare.

The police have a conspiracy or a joint enterprise which involves Burna, they will need to show his involvement.
The police need to show he facilitated the crime. A text message telling the victim to show the same energy next time they meet is circumstantial. Could have meant he wanted the Mr 2kay to hit the weights with energy next time at the gym or to dance energetically next time at the club. The purported text is not an offence and the threat is not explicit or immediate for threat to kill or malicious communications

Given the cost of owning and maintaining one, I am not suprised that most rich people would prefer to lease or rent a jet. I once heard Russell Simmons owner of Def Jam and other businesses, state that it is better to lease or rent a jet because the cost of owning one is astronomically expensive!! So how can a group or a church in Nigeria afford to gift one to their pastor? Did they pay any taxes?

Would it have not made sense to do away with such a flagrant and ostentatious display of opulence given this relates to a pastor who should be emulating the frugal life of christ who concentrated on winning or saving souls instead of ‘wordly’ things? Does not make sense at all. Just my humble opinion.

My mum had Stage 4 Non Hodgkins Lymphoma and passed away last month. Cancer is a horrible disease and I know what I went through during my mum’s illness and treatment. It was tough and soul destroying. I understand what you are going through, anyone making jokes about this lady having a mastectomy is ignorant and should pray cancer does not befall any of their loved ones. My advice is take each day as a blessing and keep fighting. Don’t forget to make sure she know she is loved. I wish you and your mum very the best.

Dress the way you want to be addressed

Another person talking absolute bull. You will illegally detain someone for 2 days then illegally search their home? Which Inspector will allow you custody or who will prosecute your spurious allegations? You think arrests are just to detain suspects? You should present the matter before a judge or some form of judicial disposal ie fine or charge, caution or warn. You need to go before a judge for a warrant and frankly in your case you will laughed out of court for presenting a shoddy case and worse you will be reprimanded and arrested for various offences. The backwardness in law enforcement is alarming ans when we point this out even with prior experience you chose to remain ignorant? Keep living in the stone ages whilst developed nations forge ahead.

Reasonable suspicion is very subjective. Will a reasonable person in charge of all the thinking faculties think a corper in uniform going on with his life or duties in broad daylight is an armed robber? He even showed his ID and identified himself! On what basis or grounds is that search legal? Just because the last suspect had a funny haircut does that mean that every other person who has a similar haircut is a criminal? This is what happens when you have dolts in charge. The job of the police also involves making sure the case or offence is properly presented before a judge. The police are not lawyers or judge and jury. You build your grounds to search on facts not some airy fairy nonsense about looks. I think we need to start taking these abuses to civil court or reporting them immediately.
