Phones basically do the same thing so why should I shell out just over £1000 for a phone? Hence why I was comfortable with my Iphone 6 plus until now. What the hell is going on at Apple? The dev team behind this deserve to be throttled. Go to the Apple community forum ‘boys’ are not smiling so not surprised about the lawsuit.

I had my Iphone 6 plus since release so had my phone for over 3 years now. Since the IOS11 update and subsequent releases to iron out bugs, my phone has become so unstable and glitchy. Safari is so slow, battery life is crap, apps unexpectly freeze or hang and call quality has plummeted. Called Apple yesterday, they carried out a diagnostic and said I need to replace my battery as it has been ‘consumed’ It will cost me from £79 at Apple Store and it should improve performance. It’s Christmas so I’ll wait to see if I’ll upgrade but I feel I am being forced to do one which is making me dig my heels in. I no gree upgrade for years now Been with Apple since Iphone 3gs and never had issues around performance until IOS11.

She is not exactly a great actress and does not have a huge body of work or blockbusters to her credentials. She is not that popular so this may work to her advantage. I felt she was just a ‘filler’ on Suits and didn’t have much to offer other than being a love interest so she ain't sacrificing much with regards to her acting career becoming one of the royal family which is every girls dream. I was just thinking the same. I bought my 48 inch 4K panasonic vierra for over a grand in 2015, bloody telly is now worth £500 but it still works and suits our viewing needs at home. Why would I get into a punch up over a bloody telly or PS4 when I walk into a shop next week or shop online to pick up a bargain?

We are talking about Hollywood and cinema. We are also talking blockbusters and directors. DC comics and Marvel comics are two different comic worlds or distinct ecosystems, some prefer apples, so prefer carrots, saying with is better is clearly subjective. Another thing is how many Nigerians actually go to the cinema or pay for content in Nigeria or actually read or buy graphic novels? This goes to the kids who have been coming with cart blanche statements on which of these comic companies is better or which comic book adaption is best.

I will consider the avid comic reader and their tastes. Hollywood is running out of ideas. All we keep seeing is reboots and team ups with all major comic heroes crammed onto the screen, avid comic and graphic novel fans are hating the malaise. Deadpool bucked the trend. It was the highest grossing R rated comic book adaptation, it outgrossed the nausea inducing Batman vs Superman and did well at the box office with $782 million. Deadpool was hilarious and gritty, it was adult fun and I adored the sarcasm, innuendos and all pop references or quips especially the gratuitous violence. So the guy who said it was overrated rubbish clearly does know what he is on about. So Marvel wins here just like Kick Ass or Punisher (Netflix), please read the graphic novels, kids commenting like they know about movies and comics just irks me.
For me the best graphic novel of all time goes to The Watchmen, Zack Sydner was able to translate it to film which most directors and producers thought would be impossible to shoot or create. The story is complex and the ending is a beauty. Rosarch is the man for me in Watchmen. He was brilliant directing 300 also (another graphic novel).

BvsS suffered because of the change in directors. There were huge expectations especially coming on the back of the phenomenal successes of the Batman franchise under Christopher Nolan.

For me, Christopher Nolan has had the best run of directing Batman. Sydner came on to direct after Nolan's epic trilogy - Batman Begins, Dark Knight and Dark Knight Rises, all my favourite Batman movies which I proudly own on Blu Ray. Nolan drew inspiration from the graphic novels and his interpretations found major appeal with film audiences mostly adults because of the themes explored such as loss, sacrifice, fall from grace, hero worship, chaos theory, evil and injustice etc so for me DC has it here. Han Zimmer produces an amazing score and soundtrack. Those movies will continue to resonate with people for many years to come and the topic explored are still relevant today especially in the US.

I thoroughly enjoyed Wonder Woman, the fight choreography and her theme soundtrack is glorious and thumping so DC for me.

I suspected Justice League would suffer after the backlash of BvsS, Sydner alienated fans when he decided to cast Ben Affleck as Batman, then the ridiculous story of Martha, Doomsday was a CGI mess and did not look remotely true to the comic. He whopped Superman's arse and killed him in a long battle. The guy who played Lex Luthor was an annoying weasel, his name escapes me(good actor though but crapy portrayal) but he seems to have found his character as his hair was being cropped off in the ending scene. Wonder Woman saved this movie for me.

P.S I have tried getting into Preacher(another graphic novel not from DC or Marvel comics) I do not find any of the characters appealing and I watched a few episodes and just lost interest.

Honorable mentions - Logan, Iron Man, Avengers, Captain America Winter Soldier, Blade and Blade II, Xmen [/b]and [b]Kingsman - Secret Service. I am looking forward to Black Panther and shall be rocking my 9ja native to the cinema for my favourite African superhero from Wakanda. Joss Whedon seems to have done a good job directing Marvel blockbusters so does Matthew Vaughn for Kick Ass, Kingsman and the Xmen - First Class.

So for me both comic houses or studios will continue to fight for screen time and there is no best in the never ending battle of summer blockbusters.
