Glad Christians in Kwara are knowing what time it is now. A step in the right direction. I hope they keep up with the pressure. You only get what you take these days. Poster above talking about 10:3 ratio of Muslim to Christian in the state cracks me up. Where did you get that stat from dawg? Your name should be Pinocchio bruh. |
My heart goes to the people of Kenya on the disgusting & cowardly attacks of the innocents in that Shopping Mall by religion lunatics. May the God of true Peace comfort them. |
This is what a responsible House should be doing, curbing unecessary wastage of tax-payer's money unlike what obtains in Kwara where the dumbos are busy building a multi-billion naira mansion for the immediate past governor Bukola Saraki among other luxurious benefits with the limited state funds. Bunch of lame-ducks. |
Why not focus on the message and not the messenger? This man has voiced out the apparent inequalities of how Christians are being marginalized and discriminated in this state and yet some fools are busy yarning dust. These are verifiable statistics so if you are indeed true to yourselves and not just some bunch of bigoted hypocrites you would try to reason with these facts without sentiments. Someone was even mentioning the current governor having a Christian wife. So what Is that the reason qualified Christians are being fenced out of appointments? So you people would rather CAN just live in denial that there is a problem of marginalization in the state just to proof to you that they are meek and true Christians? That's foolishless dawg and the time is up for that. Cracks me up when they say Kwara is a muslim dominated state. Oh pls, foh with that baseless assertion. You can say that for Ilorin but the state as a whole is even between the two religions. From the military era till 1999, Christians held many important positions in the state. Don't know if I should attribute that to the fact that there were a lot of educated Christian professionals then when some other people were busy doing Aleef, Ba, Ta in their worship places and didn't want to embrace western education or because the military-led govt then weren't sentimental in their appointments and they only wanted those who could deliver. Whichever it is, I'm glad CAN is stepping up to the plate and they now know what time it is. You are dealing with people who subjugate, kill you softly & still accuse you of intolerance when you express your discomfort. Dodos!!! |
Blackberry Tour & Tour2 (fondly called bold3 by nigerians) are both shitty. Been there, done that. With that being said, nokia n78 is a crappy phone as well. Everything seem perfect but the keypad is just *sighs! |
Smooyis: This threat simply means Mrs Farida has compromised her stand against the fight of corruption in Nigeria. It means during her tenure there were sacred cows which include OBJ. The way the level of corruption rose after Nuru Ribadu coupled with the non prosecution of big time political leaders and others in positions of authourity shows something was amiss, laying credence to what Obj said. That's exactly my line of thought too. If she indeed said all those things, then she just shot herself in the foot. |
I don't envy their students at all. Imagine such a lame name being the header of my hard-earned certificate. The name Saraki is already synonymous with all sorts of vices and illegalities. That's a dent on one's work. It's like graduating from a Bode George or James Ibori's university lol. No morally principled employer would hire you on the real. ASSU students at this stage, you are OYO. ![]() |

They just knowing what time it is. |
This controversy is shrouded with so much religious undertones. I'm a Christian and I understand that the christian populace of Taraba state constituting the majority are scared of the unknown future, but they should just let it go for now. Suntai's mental faculty is obviously not at its peak and the state is bigger than any individual. It's only fair they allow the deputy assume full power and perform his duties unhindered while Suntai's family focus on his rehablitation. For all I care , this Garba man might deliver better democractic dividends to the people than his boss sef but the status quo can't keep going on cos Suntai is sick upstairs. They can also mobilize themselves and field another christian person for the governorship at the next election. If they are the majority & nigerians usually voting on sentimental patterns as we know it, they shouldn't have probs getting the office back. |
Now that's the kind of aura a president should have. Dopest! |
pro01: Such cimcumlocution is nonsensical, why not address the MAIN allegation squarely? Did you f**k the lady in question, yes or no? Is there a "level of grace" that you claimed you would have taught her, yes or no?You spoke my mind pro. To me this is like an affirmation that he did it, especially that 4th tweet. They should bury their heads in shame in that bling bling/what up church. Orthodox churches is the way. Some have their flaws too but not this height of sin and moral decadence. |
leave bad religions like christianity and islam. convert to Paganism. (Traditional Religion). NOW. Hurry before its too late!
Yo mfer, what has the above gotta do with the thread? People stay demonising the west but the Chinese are worse. |
armyofone: Just have something to spare no matter how small, might be enough for garri and peanut. A man twice your age asking for something in the bank may be in his lowest.I understand ma'am. Giving cheerfully is good thing. I actually do when I'm in a position to esp when I see the person is genuinely in need. What I don't feel is being mildly coerced or blackmailed into giving where they give you a kind of look like you've sinned for not giving them. In this particular case, I had to go through about four security men at different spots all willing to collect something. Did they all have problems at the same time? They did that just cos I was well-dressed not even minding even if I was on my bottom naira. The prob is they seemed to have institutionalized such thing. That's bad honestly, the police were once mild too before they got more aggressive and enshrined 20naira in their daily routine. |
Been having same experiences of late. Most recent was at Union bank where I went to make a deposit. The ones at the gate, by the bullet-proof door were codedly begging me for cash doing oga sir, oga sir despite being twice my age. Smh |
It's a shame honestly. May Jehovah not forsake His own. Our prayers are with all Christians in Egypt. Stay strong! |
Rubbish! |
This thread is a joke. Where did they get this so called 5k figure from? Apga is basically non-existent in kwara. Doesn't even have a standard secretariat. 5000 ko, 20billion ni. |
khel: For those clamoring for the same thing to happen in Nigeria, the post indicated loss of lives from confrontation with the military!!! Who is ready to give up his or her life for 9ja?You give up yourself for an entity you passionately love & believe in. Nigeria is a forced union so we can never protest anything from all corners of the country with one voice. Everybody is igbo/yoruba/hausa/ fulani first before any other thing and each will always protect a sitting president no matter how terrible he is as long as he's from their region (sad but true). It's only policies that have direct financial impacts on nigerians such as the fuel subsidy that can make us parley. If it's not about money, nigerians don't risk their lives or give a 4k about what they don't believe in. |
This situation cracks me up actually. We all know it's about power flexing and show of might but what makes it more fun is the ingenious ability to deal with an adversary without breaking any constitutional provision. Question in this case now is who really owns lagos, who has the koboko, and who's at the receiving end of the whipping? |
lacum: when obama, jonathan and other world leaders congratulated islam aftr fasting u didnt say they were economical with d truth or joining hans wit d muslims. pls if u dont like d catholic church then stay on ur own afterall ur not under d popeOh c'mon, whether i'm a Baptist, Lutheran, Calvinist what does it matter. We are all custodians of this faith. You would rather me not criticise the pope just because he's a pope? If i should go by that logic then the 16th century Pope Charles V who sold indulgences and under whose authority a corrupt church thrived prior to the reformation shouldn't be critcised too right? Look man, they are just mortals like you and I so they aren't all that special or immune to making mistakes. Your attempt to compare a politician with the apex leader of a church is ridiculous. A politician can say anything, even deny his faith for votes and support. These are different institutions. You can't marry their concepts or agendas. I'm not a fan of the catholic church's structures but definitely harbor no hate for them. We are all Christians at the end of the day but what is right is right, vice-versa. |
That same lukewarm attitude and living in denial was what propelled the lose of constantinople (Turkey) and some other parts of Western Europe to the jihadists. Preaching tolerance is cool Mr. Pope but remember not even Christ was economical with the truth at any point in time so i don't get this religion diplomacy these days. How would it have sounded if Christ was reaching out to the pagans during their ritual rites just so as to appear meek like everything is good? More or less like a cosign that they are on the right track, ain't it? So Christ is no longer the Only Way or His gospel has ceased to be about winning lost souls? Jesus was never violent but didn't hold back in calling evil evil and vented His rage when the people in the temple of God went astrayed. I'd have expected the pope to pray for the sinners and hope their hearts get divinely touched so that they can discern between the forces of light and darkness. There's nothing like diplomacy or compromise in spiritual warfare but these people don't just get it or they do but don't wanna make some people feel disgruntled. Smh. |
What is the difference between this one extra year they wanna introduce and the normal kingdergaten which most kids usually start from? More or less like a waste of time to me. Spending 17years in school + an additional one for nysc is just bollocks mehn. And it's even longer for those studying medicine, law and the likes smh. |
NO HOMO NO HOMO NO HOMO. *Spits* Riley Freeman's voice. |

A nigga slash WTF moment. |
It's a shame seeing a Clergy daughter go astray but she can convert to Hindu if she wants, her absence won't be felt in Christiandom neither will it stop the second coming of Christ. I wish her goodluck! |
Man of influence or not, delight or every woman or not, a grown a$$ adult marrying and having sexual relations with a girl of 6, 9...or 13 is still a disgusting pig with no shame to me. No moral justification for tthat kind of urge not to talk of consolidating it. Worst is if such a person was a pioneer of faith whose ways of life and teachings his followers are supposed to imbibe. Like my yoruba people would say, oun ti ko da ko da (what isn't right isn't right). |
Only way these ilorin preeks make the headline is with some weird news and shii. They stay potraying and shaming that region with their primitive fuc#kery. No disrespect tho. *riley freeman's voice* |
This man gat an excessive amount of time on his hand smh. Chasing all these vain earthly shiits just to boost your ego. By the time it dawn on you years after, you'd realise how empty the life you lived was. |
