If that crucifix tat on him is a theory to go by, then he's probably not a muslim. Akim/Hakeem/Akeem is usually a muslim name tho.

Lol nice write-up from an academic-research angle. What I do know is some people can't redefine the core principles or be more muslim than Mohammed himself and with that being said, we all know how he lived his life.
Politics › Re: Suicide Bombers Kill 20 Soldiers In Niger Republic by Vado(m): 10:34pm On May 23, 2013
obasy09: The power that be are going broke. They are about to sink. Control of African resources seems to be the easiest means of survival. The petro-dollar system is about to crumble. We are moving back to the Gold standard. The only obstruction to realising their ambition is their own people, I mean their masses. They need to give a dog a bad name in order to hang it. A nigerian killing a British solder through terrorist acts (more of this stage-managed to follow) to secure the masses support for invasion or intervention. The approach is simple, create both problems and solutions and u'll be holding them by their jugular. American drones are already in Niger. Gaddafi (a formidable obstacle) already out of the way. To achieve all these,Islamists (a seemingly violent-prone people) are the pawn in the game. You can call me a conspiracy theorist but he who is smart enough can connect the dots and make meaning out of this post. Thk u.
With all due respect sire, STFU!
Politics › Re: Sanusi To FG: Dont Overspend On Military Operations, by Vado(m): 10:57am On May 22, 2013
But why is it that northern leaders are shitting in their pants, crying foul more than ever when relative success is now being recorded against insurgency? From Buhari calling for GEJ's resignation to this Sanusi's statistics. Methinks, these people would rather the bombings $ killings continue so as to help shape their personal gains and score cheap political points. Various SOEs had been declared prior to this current govt without these anti-executive stance on financial implication basis. Peace is never to expensive.

ZUBY77: I am confused about this god who cannot save his children from
1 - Natural disasters
2 - Bombings by people who are allegedly worshiping the wrong god.
3 - Stampeding themselves thereby murdering their own people.
Your attempt to ridicule Christianity is disgusting fella. You made it seem like deaths as a result of a stampede is exclusive to the followers of Christ or something.

You can as well check these occurrences in your acclaimed holiest city in the world below and don't forget to compare and contrast the casualty. Kindly equip me with what your most merciful god was doing while all these was happening sir.

July 2, 1990 : A stampede inside a pedestrian tunnel (Al-Ma'aisim tunnel) leading out from Mecca towards Mina, Saudi Arabia and the Plains of Arafat led to the deaths of 1,426 pilgrims, many of them Malaysian, Indonesian and Pakistani of origin.[2][3]
May 23, 1994 : A stampede killed at least 270 pilgrims at the stoning of the Devil ritual.
April 9, 1998: at least 118 pilgrims were trampled to death and 180 injured in an incident on Jamarat Bridge.[4]
March 5, 2001: Thirty five pilgrims were trampled to death in a stampede during the stoning of the Devil ritual.[5]
February 11, 2003: The stoning of the Devil ritual claimed 14 pilgrims' lives.[6]
February 1, 2004: 251 pilgrims were killed and another 244 injured in a stampede during the stoning ritual in Mina.[7]
January 12, 2006: A stampede during the ritual ramy al-jamarāt on the last day of the Hajj in Mina killed at least 346 pilgrims and injured at least 289 more. The incident occurred shortly after 13:00 local time, when a busload of travellers arrived together at the eastern access ramps to the Jamarat Bridge. This caused pilgrims to trip, rapidly resulting in a lethal crush. An estimated two million people were performing the ritual at the time

The point is not whether it's Shekau or not but those friends on his list are worth looking into by the SSS as they could provide useful intel no matter how small. They are all potential foot-soldiers with shared ideology and intent as Shekau's.

ACN needs to understand that they are looking more like a bunch of clowns these days with their anti any government policy stance. Sadly, they are making the likes of fashola, oshiomole and fayemi whom I know wouldn't have shared this sentiment look bad. I'm sick of their thirst. All these senseless statements is a preview to what their governance gonna be like at the presidency level & trust me, it's not a good look.

azimibraun: These suckers are not muslims. I am a muslim and fear these beasts more than a christian wld. Ur death in the hands of boko haram(demons) as a muslim wld be even more cruel than that of a christian if they knw you dnt support violence. RIP to the dead and curse and painful shameful death upon those killing innocent folks and bringing islam to dis ridiculouse disrepute. On behalf of all the "GOOD" muslims I appologise to all innocent christians killed by these demons. What a shame dis guys mk decent muslims face on the daily.
God bless you. We know there are still fine individuals who are muslims out there regardless. You guys have bigger roles to play still. You know parents and not the government are responsible for the kind of knowledge and moral they impact in the process of raising their kids so i think the national body of the muslim society should admonish immams/alfas and even parents on the kind of messages they transmit to their followers or kids.

The masterstroke would be the number 1 leader of muslims in nigeria, the sultan of sokoto coming out to explicitly denounce boko haram and disapproving of any senseless persecution of Christians up-north.

Until then bro, I'm not buying the islam is peace phrase but if I later do sire, I'll make sure to keep the receipt.
I'm feeling a rollercoaster of emotions over this insecurity issue in the north and the decimation of its Christian population in their own ancestral lands. Even though a larger part of this emotion is one of empathy and pity, i'd have to admit that a small part is a feeling that nemesis/retributive justice is catching up with some people over the sins of their parents and forebears......not having the foresight that Ojukwu had all those years ago in knowing that Nigeria (as is) is just not workable; and going on from there to commit unimaginable horrors on a people whose only crime was not wanting to be a part of this charade anymore!

May God forgive us all!
Has it occurred to you that there are indigenous Hausa/Fulani Christians up-north? Shout-out to Ikemba, i fux with him but your ploy to use this event to justify Ojukwu's activities is pathetic bro. You'll probably call yourself a Christian too so tell me, would Christ approve of such statements? You need to re-evaluate your mind frame bro.

They were the same visitors that helped the Israelis in the bible to negate the overwhelming horde of enemies with a few number of men.
They render conventional weapons obsolete and just like a fellow alien astronaut theorist mentioned above, they empower their devotees with alien technology, with fantastic capabilities, they ensconce their worshippers in a force field that ricochet bullets back to sender.

Oh boy, these people just call billions trillions like it's chump-change when many nigerians out there haven't seen half a mill before in their life. Protests and mere talks won't solve corruption in this cuntry. We need a revolution (french revoluntion of 1789 style). A cleasing right from the top to the bottom is the deal. Nairaland General › Re: Concerning The Controversial "New" Rules Of Nairaland by Vado(m): 10:27am On May 09, 2013
Abuja4sale: Dear All,
I want to appeal to All especially the Christians to exercise patience with Seun Osewa on Rule 17; (17. Don't post anything that could be considered offensive to Islam, especially in the muslim section). I came from a muslim background and one of the major discrepancy between Christianity and Islam is that the former is founded on this "Followers are not to assist their God as He is too powerful to need human assistant" while the later believed "Followers are encourage to fight in order to defend their God"

So with the above analyzes, there is no writing, painting or cartooning of Jesus in any kinds can never provoke a genuine. christian, because his foundation is rooted in 'my God will fight for Himself' but for my beloved Muslims; the reverse is the case. Again, I have never seen a genuine Muslim in support of what Boko Harams are doing to our nation. As majority in my family are muslims and we live in togetherness as one.

So with this understanding, we should love our muslims brethren and abide with Rule 17. This I believed is one of the sacrifices we (Nairalanders) must lived with in order to make our nation the better place in the world. Let us abide and respect the 'weakness' of other religion in the above Rule 17.

Please note; this is my personal opinion. May the genuine love of God reign forever in our hearts.
FOH Dude.

austinsmat: when buhari said blood and baboo fight no body arrest him all this northerner should mind themselves
Dude i'm equally perplexed at these talks emanating from these primitive preeks. Buhari said worse even painted mental images in our heads yet none of these so called northern leaders came out to rebuke such so what's this noise about? Mtshcw

And btw, there's this erroneous notion on nairaland about all yorubas having automatic cordial relationship with northerners. Maybe your judgements are based on acn & cpc's alliances but this generalisation has to stop cos it's not the reflection of the entire yoruba entity. I have no ounce of affirnity for anything buhari as a person or politician neither I'm I pro-jonathan. Voted Ribadu in the last election so it's not like I'm anti-north, his records justified that. This generalisation on NL makes me sick tho.
