It is the same old "colonial mentality" that holds us back as a nation.  The same old inferiority complex to anything white and western.   What Keshi has to realise is that local players are better suited to playing in Africa where they are more familiar with the local conditions (temperature, temperament, terrain) than overseas players who play under different conditions and do not have time to re-adjust when they fly in for competitions with only a couple days to spare.   I doubt if the NFF has even taken the time to commission a study on issues such as these,  and why our so called foreign stars are always found wanting when they put on the national colours.  For me the biggest problem with the Super Eagles is lack of coordination, mental strength,  discipline,  and high fitness levels, factors that made us feared in world football in the 1990s.  Until we overcome these problems we are going to continue struggling with teams we would have hammered 10 years ago.

when you said Ojukwu was a "natural born leader" one would expect him to present his microscopic talents effortless, but here is a man who couldn't even win election in his home state as a presidential aspirant under APGA, a party which he(Ojukwu) single handedly front and register while Tinubu on the other hand is widely referred to as a crook by his political enemies(without any factual evidence to back the assertion up) was able to start a party and challenge the ruling psychotic party and capture 6 fuckin' states at a go and became the strongest opposition leader in the history of Nigeria. And please, don't come back with he bribe his way or that was just luck cos that would be lamest.

Thus, by all standards in a sane environment Tinubu is awaaaaaayy more acceptable than Ojukwu(with the exception of his vision on Igbos, which could also be disputed). Yes, Ojukwu can be said to be an intelligent man(struggling to accept). Am hoping you are catching the drifts?
