Nice Article, Hitting The Nail On The Head,

Only That This Kind Of Article Will Not Have A Meaning To All Northern Leaders Who Stubornly Believed That 'God Had Already Make Some People To Be Poor,And Some People To Be Rich' And So,You Cant Change Anything,They Always Choose Not To Be Realistic,

So How Do You Expect Change From Someone Like That,Or Someone Whose Decision Is Shaped To A Particular Pattern By His Religion?

For Example, The North Has 33 Yrs From Our 51 Yr Rule From Our Independence, But We In The South Are 30 Yrs Ahead Of Them In Everything,Education,Trade,Civilisation Etc. The Rate At Which They Breed The Almajiris In Kano Expecially Is The Most Wicked Thing That Can Ever Be Done To Human Race, And That Is Because Of Their Firm Religious Muslim Belief ( 'God Had Already Make Some People To Be Poor,And Some People To Be Rich' And So,You Cant Change Anything)

This Belief Makes Them Not To Plan Their Birth Rate,
Makes Them Not To Take A Good Responsibility Of Training Children They Bore
Abuse Under Age Girls To Start Rearing Children At An Early Age Without Having A Plan For Her Future.

And In All,They Promote Idleness To The Highest Degree With Their Lack Of Planning, And Now That They Have No Access To Be President To Steal And Distribute Free Money As An Act Of God, Or That Their Religious Belief Has Been Proved Wrong That They Are Born To Rule Is Just A False Feeling,Now They Want The Heaven To Fall.

Buhari For Example Is A Bad Looser The Way He Always Pursue The Case Agaisnt The Southern President. He Did Not Do That To Ibb That Overthrows His Gov'nt.
Buhari Overthrows A Democratic Government Of Shagari Instead Of Waiting For His Own Time To Contest,He Choose The Bloody Way.

Now What Betterment Did He Do For His People? Nothing, No Education, No Jobs, And The Auterity Measure Did More Harm Than Good To His Northern People.

Now Some People Still See Buhari A Someone Who Can Change Nigeria, ''Show Me Your Friend,Then I Will Know Who You Are''

From The Massive  Underdeveloped Northerners Perspective,Buhari Is A Failure Like Any Other Northern President.

I Have Always Say It That We In The South Are Not Compactible With The North,
And The Better We Split. Thats My Opinion

@BERNIMOORE

The Nigeria spliting thingy almost sounds good, but what i actually want to say is let the core-north get its house right since we are still together. Cos truth be told, this crop of politicians wont think "SPLITING NIGERIA" as an option, remember there's plenty of oil money to loot and go round all of them. Meanwhile the core-north in its poor state keeps drawing the whole nation back, and its a very sad story for us in the south.
If only these core-northerners would do away with this shallow belief of power solely belonging to them and with their Politiciansand Emirs, Buhari and IBB first.
I still feel their practice of Islam in this region is very faulty.

sowetto:
This article is brilliant and a lot of her points a true although some of the things said are inconsistent with facts

* saying that agricultural revenues from the north was used to sustain the whole country before oil was found is a blatant lie.  Nigeria had 3 major cash crops cocoa, groundnut and palm oil; two of these are from the south. Oil was found in Nigeria in the 1950s that was before independence.

* saying that most of the victims of boko haram are northerners cant be proven and it does not exempt northern leaders from having a hand in the operation of boko haram. This guys have been well motivated, coordinated and funded. Some influential elements in the NORTH are effectively backing them. The prime targets of boko haram are not northern Muslims, they are Christians and southerners.
It is left for northen leaders to resolve the issue of boko haram because only they can. They should stop making unreasonable excuses ( like poverty, oil derivation, killing of muslims , corruption ) for boko haram.
Zainabs' write-up is really revealing and straight to the point, though i knew most of this facts before i read it from her piece. Its unbelieveable that such an articulated piece can come from a northern woman (maybe even a Muslim). Zainab, u did well by writing but that is not enough, couldnt she find a way of translating this and circulating it in largely populated areas in the core North? These problems of the Core-North can only be solved from within not without. U can only only get help from outside but the main transformation can only be done by the citizens.
Excellent piece my dear!

On a monthly basics the Delta state internal revenue service gets nothing less than a billion from Chevron as PAYE and WHT on individuals/enterprise,the same goes for Lagos and Rivers Government.The Federal Government collects all manners of tax ranging from Petroleum profit tax,Nigeria export supervison scheme levy,VAT,capital gains tax amounting to billions of dollars in a year from Chevron.Is it Chevron responsibility to deliver on the statutory obligation of government.

The Federal government should enact enabling laws like the PIB to encourage these companies to assist in providing feeders for refineries and power stations not ordering them to provide what FG should provide.

Chevron has different MOU's with these communities to assist in development as part of their CSR.These does not include taking over the functions of Government.I am sorry for Nigeria.

Reject calls for Sovereign National Conference

Constitution amendment not on Senate card yet, says Mark

A BILL for an Act to amend Section 315 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended) yesterday passed through second reading in the House of Representatives.

The Bill seeks to amend Section 315 (2), which gives the executive arm of government at both the state and federal levels powers to modify existing laws.

Section 315 (2) of the 1999 Constitution stipulates that “the appropriate authority may at any time by order make such modifications in the text of any existing law as the appropriate authority considers necessary or expedient to bring the law into conformity with the provisions of this constitution.’’

Also, the House of Representatives yesterday told those calling for the convocation of a Sovereign National Conference (SNC) to perish the thought and instead strengthen their belief in the National Assembly.

At a media briefing in the National Assembly, Spokesman of the House, Zakari Mohammed, described the called as “retrogressive.”

Mohammed charged: “Nigerians should believe in the National Assembly. On what aegis is it (SNC) going to hold? SNC does not look nationalistic; it is dragging us backwards.”

The lawmaker also admitted that the House ad hoc committee probing the fuel subsidy regime had been under pressure to compromise but assured that the panel would not cave in to pressure.

He stated that the House would take all necessary steps to ensure that the report of the committee was not swept under the carpet.

And, the House of Representatives yesterday rejected a motion seeking to stop contractors and companies from using kerosene in road construction.

The House ad-hoc committee on the fuel subsidy regime was recently told that these companies have been mixing kerosene with bitumen in road construction, which situation has created a scarcity of the product.

Meanwhile, Senate President David Mark yesterday stated that the upper chamber of the National Assembly has not initiated a process to amend the 1999 Constitution.

Mark spoke in Lagos at the public presentation of a book, Mamora, Years of Legislative Activism: A Memoir of Senator Adeleke Olorunnimbe Mamora, in honour of Mamora.

The Senate President made the disclosure in response to Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi’s claims at the event that the Senate was on the Second Reading of a Constitution amendment process.

Mark said: “Once we start we will go round the country. Nobody has amended the constitution yet.”

Amaechi had stressed that any attempt to amend the Constitution without the governors’ involvement would be scuttled by the latter through their state assemblies.

The governor stated that while some sections of the country yearned for constitutional amendment, “people must be widely consulted. It should not be amended like a piece of paper.”

Mark also assured that the Senate would not rewrite the Constitution in its entirety, stressing that “if there is a need for that we will get people to specifically do that.”

However, the Senate President faulted the stance of some who contended that the National Assembly has no rights to amend the Constitution, wondering “why people who ‘merely elected themselves’, as against those of us that were elected by the people should think they are the ones with the responsibility of amending the Constitution? They have to be elected to speak for the people”.

But a former Senate President Ken Nnamani cautioned against frequent amendment of the Constitution, as this, according to him, might turn the Constitution into “nothing better than the minutes of a village meeting.”

Nnamani stressed that while there was nothing wrong with drafting a new Constitution, a Constituent Assembly would be the best instrument to execute the task.

Leading the debate on the general principles of the proposed legislation, Deputy Majority Leader, Leo Ogor, said Section 315 (2) usurped the lawmaking function of the legislature and violated the principles of separation of powers.

He argued that it was the responsibility of the lawmakers to defend their powers as lawmaking arm of government.

“This section 315 (2) is totally undemocratic and makes a situation where parliamentary work is usurped,” he stated.

House Minority Whip, Samson Osagie, said the amendment sought by the proposal was vital to the workings of separation of powers.

He maintained that the act of making laws rested on the National Assembly, stressing that “this is one section (135) that we must expunge from the Constitution.’’

In his contribution, Emmanuel Jime commended Ogor for drawing the attention of the lawmakers to that part of the Constitution. He submitted that Section 135 could pose a problem for democratic processes if not amended.

Sadiq Mohammed in his submission said it is trite that legislative power is vested in the Legislature and that it would be unheard of that an authority amended existing laws other than the legislature.

Others members who supported the bill included Albert Sam–Tsokwa, Tajudeen Yusuf, Nnenna Ukeje and Orker Jev.

The bill passed second reading when the Speaker, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, put it to a voice-vote. Subsequently, it was referred to the Special Ad hoc Committee on review of the 1999 Constitution for further input.

CelebritiesRe: Whitney Houston’s Death & The Secret-society Called Illuminati by vanstanzy(m): 7:27am On Feb 19, 2012
efepro:
EXCERPT FROM: "Whitney Houston’s Death and The Secret-Society, Called The Music Industry"

Even though there is tons of research proving it, many people don’t believe that there is a secret society that controls the music and film industry. This is mostly due to ignorance and those people that make this claim are usually the ones who have done zero research into the topic. They simply make these statements because they don’t want to awaken from theircelebrity dream world and that is ok. This is why the owners of the matrix put so much money and time into promoting celebrities, because the celebrities are the stars that keep the matrix alive to billions. Whitney Houston sold over 100 Million records and generated Billions of Federal Reserve notes(dollars), Euro’s, and pounds, for the world rulers. But more important than the money, Whitney Houston represented an image to the world and images in the matrix have to be controlled to their end.
The point I am making above is that the music industry is a cult and once one gets a record deal they are now an initiate and are a part of the cult for life. Whitney Houston was no exception to this rule and she took the oath back in the 70’s. Once the oath is pledged you become the property of the record labels and the machines and you can NEVER retire. The only way out of the game is death!
Whitney Houston reached the peak of her career in 1992 when she starred in the film Body Guard, with Kevin Costner. If you notice all of the big entertainers have to do a film when they reach their peak so that they can generate more capital for their masters aka the label. You see, in the music industry nothing happens without the consent of the label and Whitney meeting and marrying Bobby Brown was no different. The labels allowed Whitney to MarryBobby Brown and if one does any investigation they will see that her life began to go downhill shortly after. Dont blame Bobby for Whitney’s fall, because he took the oath and made a deal with the goat just like her, so I believe they used Bobby to make Whitney’s life more interesting and to begin to tarnish her image. The labels knew what kind of person Bobby was and they knew he would be a good pick for their goals with Whitney. So, the labels began to work rituals based on Bobby and Whitney’s relationship, remember everybody in the game aka the industry plays a part even when the cameras go off. The labels wanted to spice up Whitney’s life aka destroy her pristine image, which they had been targeting since she got into the industry. You may wonder why they would want to do a thing like this, but if you’re not in the industry then you can’t imagine how diabolical the people are who run the show. These people thrive on drama, sex, violence, and drugs. As they say, sex sales! The people that are behind the scenes are master witches and wizards and their goals are constant control and power.
Whitney Houston was addicted to cocaine and she became infamous for this habit. Whitney wasn’t happy with herself and the way her life was ending up and in the same interview with Oprah she even referred to herself as “the devil". Bobby’s sister, Tina goes on to say that,Tina goes on to say that, Houston sees ‘demons’ everywhere she goes, and beats herself up while saying “The Devil be hitting me.”
Whitney was of no use to the industry anymore because as many of you know she couldn’t sing the way she used to. The drugs and the demons drained her life force, because Whitney was pure and wasn’t built for demonology. Whitney was sacrificed aka thrown from the freedom train, and done away with a day before the Grammy’s as a industry ritual.
This was a ritual, just like every other aspect of Whitney’s life. Whitney was born on August the 9 th anddied on February 11 th . (9-11) 9-11 is a numerical code used by the elite to perform human sacrifice rituals and Whitney’s death was no exception.

@post cry cryer
Its a pity that the world has been so overtaken by EVIL and GREED. EVIL in that all fields of human-life is under the influence. GREED in that GOD ALMIGHTY gave us freewill, and so we can either choose good or evil. Whitney regretably chose death, i mean she wasnt pushed or shoved to join the devil (illuminati). Its so sad such a beauty and brain had to go.

Mallam Sanusi is only an ethnic/religious instrument chosen by the then Yar'Adua administration to frustrate the dominance of southerners in the banking sector of Nigeria. I have no problem with sanusi, but check out his policies and see how he is actually championing the cause for the North:

The removal of UBA’s Tony Elumelu, Zenith Bank’s founder Jim Ovia and Skye Bank’s Sola Akinfemiwa despite their banks are financially sound and well footed not only nationally but internationally;

The introduction of Islamic banking in Nigeria, you will recall that it was after the stance of Sanusi on Islamic banking that the Boko Haram sect issued a statement that non-islamic banks will not operate in the North. Are we sure he is not one of their sponsors? Why will he have to donate a whooping N100 million to Kano victims of Boko Haram terror. Did he not hear about the floods that hit Lagos and Ibadan last year or the errosion in the South East, what about environmental pollution in the South-South, abeg make SSS check out this Mallam!

His recent comment over the 30% allocation to oil producing states of the nation is part of the reasons of Boko Haram insurgence. Does he expect the oil producing states to be in shamble while the non oil producing states become Haven?

Sanusi is just working on Soludo's policies (foundation), i have not seen any tangible success he made, ok if you say he made it inevitible for Union Bank, Intercontinetal bank and more others not to go underground with peoples money, have you forgotten how Soludo turned family owned banks into viable banks by way or mergers and acquisition and through the capital market? Before then we use to have banks who operate on a spaace of 3 bed room apartment with not more than 20 branches, then you go to banks sweating and queeing, some branches don't even AC but ceiling fans. Bankers were happy to be called a banker, it was during Soludo time.

Please lets not compare them, Soludo is a guru, we should only pray that Mallam does not take all Nigerias money to the North before he leave office.
@danielng
I couldn't agree wth u anyless. That man Sanusi has an evil agenda and i believe within me that he is indirectly sponsoring these boko beasts. It says in their Qu'ran they should support Holy war with their positions and wealth, so i wont be suprised if he does.
Soludo on the other hand was a gentleman, a professor of economics in UNN (my alma mater) and a guru, who fine-tuned the banking industry and thus made it very attractive.
Their story is just that of "THE PROFESSOR (GURU) and THE PRINCE (MERCILESS ARAB)". grin grin

THEY HAVE LAVISHED THE ENTIRE MONEY THEY MADE LAST YEAR& PROMPTLY INCREASED FUEL COST TO GET BACK MONEY FROM POOR DEFENCELESS MASSES. MIND U THOSE MONIES U HEAR ON TV& RADIO FOR INFRASTRUCTURES, I SUSPECT R ALOT LESS.
FRESH AIR& HIS GOVT ARE SO SPEND-TRIFT, THAT THEY NEEDED TO PLAY DOUBLE-TAKE ON US BY REMOVIG SUBSIDY. BUT WE DIDNT COOPERATE. NOW SEE THE REPERCUSION? THIS STALE AIR, I MEAN 'FRESH' AIR WILL LAST TILL 2015. SO JUST BE PATIENT. grin grin
NEXT COMPLIANT!!!

It isnt just a Yoruba thing here, so pls dont bring in tribalism. Am from imo state and u should see what IMSU girls do too. Its a woman thing in general (very few are honourable though). So any little hike in fees or need they have, they turn to prostitution? I weep for women and this generation. Women are just too gullible& always want to play smart and in the process, get their fingers burnt most times.
The S.L.U.T. CENTRAL wanted to use pregnancy to hook the Dep. Maybe, who knows, the S.L.U.T. CENTRAL could as well get 1 area-boy to get her pregnant so she can plant it round the Dep's neck. What a CHEAP S.L.U.T. CENTRAL. Women& mothers, pls bring up ur girls especially in the way of the Lord, plsssssssss.
How on earth do u expect a man to have faith in women, if ladies go about dashing their God-given dignity to every highest bidder? undecided undecided

@beespak7
U aint lying at all, when she was enjoying the romance from the Dep. she didnt deem it fit to call anyone. But now that Poo. has hit the fan, she's inviting us ehn! she a two-timing, bitch @ss S.L.U.T. I guess she even had boyfriend(s) she was cheating on with the Dep. She wanted to two-time a married man, now its all up in her @ss& face.
It marvels me how women think, does she think a dep. gov. will be single? and does she think a married man will truly want to settle with her?
Dont get me wrong, the man should be striped off his deputyship, tried and imprisoned. But truth be told this B.I.T.C.H. had it coming. She frigin knew what she was doing, she allowed herself into it. PLS DONT CRY FOR HER, ARGENTINA!!!

Suicide bombers dont go alone. They are with there guide until a stone throw from the target.
No where to run to.

Its just like in cultism, when a young innocent man is directed to violation a virgin.

Contrary to what our media reports, the JTF is frying them.

U might be right, remember the UN Headquaters bomber. It was reported he dropped off a passenger some distance away before heading straight and ramming into the building. How do u know this anyway? Am beginning to suspect u.
