The church I was attending before, the spirituality there is not strong. Even my Pastor then resigned from his post from the Church. I was already fed-up with it and the church was filled only with married people and jambites

I seek my friends opinion, they all laughed at me and Vicky stay in that church, your man will come from anywhere. But deep in my heart I knew that's not true.
The only places I go to in this life Is my office, market and church. I'm not a party or club person. I don't really socialize, so for Christ sakes! Where will this Prince Charming come from?

So I saw another church on my way home on Sunday. It's was full to the brim. I saw ladies of my age and guys.. Youths everywhere! I was like wow! This is where am suppose to be lol

The pastor noticed me on my first service, welcome me and all.

Then a Junior Pastor, Was sent to my house very early in the morning ,the next day on a Monday to give me another welcome letter and package from the overseer Pastor. This is the junior Pastor am with, and i made up my mind to spend the rest of my life with. He was all smiles as I ushered him in, after giving me the welcome letter again from pastor, we held hands and prayed. Then he left with his colleague. I was like this junior Pastor is handsome o! Lol
One mind ehhshhh! Vicky be focused on God! Forget handsome pastor lol. I laughed at myself. Lol

We always see in church and the rest was history

I know and I have worked on myself and am still working on myself. But I can say categoritically that have gotten to a level in life and in my character where a good wise successful man will always thank Baba God for having me in his life.

OK its like this: I have always wanted a very goodlooking successful kind guy as a spouse.
But along the line, all I got was drop dead gorgeous guys with terrible behaviors and the relationships always ended even before 3months
I wasn't perfect my self then but after breakups, I will evaluate where we both went wrong. Then advice myself and adjust.

I managed ugly guys, but I couldn't cope staying long in a relationship with an ugly guy. Lemme not deceive myself. Even if he's a saint. I moved on.

Thank God I'm with a God fearing man, a true Christian, he's handsome, very handsome but God has calmed him down. His looks doesn't get into his head, likewise my looks as well. I'm as grounded as I can be. He's humble and very kind then also successful with his career. He's committed to God. I'm committed to God but not as strong as he is.

But I like the fact, I draw strength from my man in keeping my relationship with God grounded and focused.

So I think that was what I didn't have in my previous relationship. None of them were close to God and the battles of life I have around me were too much and powerful , I needed a man who is spiritual and loves everything about God and ready to serve God .

Good day everyone, just wanted to share my thoughts on this forum and would like your input, especially ladies.

We grew up watching disney movies, the earliest ones like snow white and Cinderella and sleeping beauty,( 1950s- 1970s) the princesses play a more passive role and maximised being the damsel in distress, as time went on beauty and the beast, little mermaid, Aladdin,mulan and the princess and the frog(1980s to early 2000s), the women were more opinionated and refused sitting ducks waiting for prince charming.
Then things took an ominous turn from tangled (even Shrekand frozen(Mid 2000s till date). Princes stopped coming, only common men and petty thieves started vying for the princesses' hearts or should i say princesses were encouraged to mess with common folk.

Ladies, if our standards continue to fall who do you think will benefit from it?
it is the men not you.
Sadly today many ladies have been forced to take the roles of mothers to grown men under the guise of 'relationship'. MEDIA HAS COINED SUCH WOMEN AS "RIDE OR DIE" CHICKS. pls where are you riding and what are you dying for?

Men are doing less and women are picking up their slack while still being expected to continue their own duties on top of it. This is a recipe for disaster as a candle which burns from both ends has a shorter lifespan. This is evident today cos there are many women who look way older than men in relationships. You have to pick one, be masculine or feminine.



My point is this, ladies you have to have standards if you want to attract quality men. It is the first step to being a quality woman. Just as they say that men are polygamous by nature, I used to refute it before but now i dont because biologically men want to spread their seed, so they go about procreating with every titi and amaka to see which one will score . Biologically women are also wired to be hypergamous by nature so as to source for the worthiest man whose legacy we can carry for nine months and birth to this world. We are the safeguards of fertility as we bring forth life to the world just like MOTHER (not father) NATURE. That is why women who just allow everyman in are called women of easy virtue. It is also why women ovulate once a month but men release spermatozoa with every ejaculation

We can already see the effects of lowering our standards and procreating with weak men. The previous generation did it and what we have now are weak effeminate men who want the cow and the milk for almost nothing. At least some of them are true to themselves and either become bobrisky or join the MGTOW movement.

To the ladies out there who still have standards, i know that this is an uphill battle as there is pressure on all sides especially from society to settle. i am here to encourage you all and even myself not to lose sight of the prize. The result will be worth it in the end. Be strong and be of good cheer, She who laughs best laughs last.

But am not overly sure about men, or too sure on how to handle men but one thing am sure of is, by the time I finish scrutinizing and question any guy coming my way who claims to be he's in love and all.
