I still find it hard to believe that someone feels the need to create a "Tribalistic section" while calls for "development section" is totally neglected. . what a shame! |
^^I still think it is wrong of you to delete the VIN and modify your post as well. . . its only dubious people that do such {no offense} I also think it is wrong for you to deceive prospective buyers with pictures of cars that are not within your reach, and more annoying is the fact that you quote exorbitant figures for such cars. . , that in my own opinion is unprofessional and totally wrong! I will await the report from the sheriff. . . if found guilty, i will personally make it a point of duty to make sure your stay on Nairaland, either with your username or with a new one {i will find out, don't ask me how} far from being pleasurable! Gestapo. . .over to you boss! ![]() |
i tot this topic was locked. . . someone obviously has a master key! |
its simple! Let them stop distributing the money in big Ghana must go bags. . . let them instead focus on contracts from coys that are specialist in the field! |
She wants to eat her cake and have it, as well as "rebrand the cake" and sell it to Nigerians. . . .and many Nairalanders are eager to eat the same cake already! Count me out!. . . try next door! |
lwkmd! all of a sudden the dude became a pin in a haystack! |
mikeansy, exactly my thoughts. when our leaders rule badly we curse and blame them. when they turn around and begin to do well, we curse them more!
And why do they turn around all of a sudden?. . .We really don't need leaders who can either be good or bad at their own discretion! |
bobokelly:Exactly my point! too bad many folks here hate to use their brains |
and when exactly are we expectd to get the VIN. . . this is a serious issue and shouldnt be swept under the carpet for any reason! |
franctony:i tot heroine is illegal in the country?. . .where do you get your supplies from? |
let's continue to bump this thread until someone answers! |
Kobojunkie:Even this, is encouraging! ![]() |
mikeansy:Ha!. . i see! For more than 3 years? all she did according to your post was to "encourage her fellow Ministers" The country is has been sitting on a keg of gunpowder and all she did was to encourage! She gets paid from the tax payers money and all she did was to encourage! Hell, i can also do that . . .i don't even need experience to do that!. . . . i feel encouraged already |
^^^sometimes i wonder which posses a higher nuisance, Becomerich with his maps or kosovo with his Engrrish! ![]() nascor nasci natus= Spring forth! isn't it easier to just say "Spring forth"? |
The government is deeply mired in corruption, she works for the government, she drives about in government cars, collect stupendous jumbo salaries as well as bonuses while the average Nigerian suffers, she even brands herself as the "minister of rebranding", she moves about with high shoulders that come with being a minister of the federal republic. . . and just because she saw an imminent change, she switched sides. She simply left the "Yaradua" sinking ship . . and the pathetic ways that folks got swooped by her actions makes me question if we've got sane minded individuals in this country or not. How do you fight a corrupt government that pays your bills. . . in another 6 months time God forbid Goodluck falling sick, we will probably be hearing a new song from the loose cannon. The way she speaks is another issue that ought to be addressed. . .sometimes i wonder which one she does first, thinking or speaking? She needs rebranding! |
It is so shameful that many folks will never be able to think beyond their next meal of the day. . . I implore the gullible ones amongst us to get their brains off their arses just this once. . .what exactly has Dora done that makes her look sooo fantastic all of a sudden?. . . She said there are some "cabals" in the system. . . . .so what? we know that already! She requested that the Vice President be sworn in as the acting president. . . . .after Nigerians are tired of crying home and abroad and she saw that senate is about taking that decision! She did well at NAFDAC?. . .yes, but after which the thirst for power dragged her down the well just like many others that have gone right before her! so what the fck has she achieved? The ársehole is yet to fully account for the NTA scandal that she got herself deeply involved in. . .and all because she said a few undiplomatic words, many Nairalanders are quick to dress in their native clothes to celebrate the greatest Hypocrite of all times. Tell us what she achieved. . . how her ministry has bettered the life of the average Nigerian or shut it! ![]() |
well, the title of this thread is a misnomer for what we have on ground at present. dora is no longer the weeping lady that should be pitied. right now she's basking in public accolades as we speak.
And that exactly is what makes me mad to my bones! What a country full of gullible folks. Cut their hands and give them cold drinks, and they will sing your praises to the highest heavens! |
wow, i just read your long piece on the first page- - - - very informative and professional i must say. However, i saw this bit of information and i thought you are definitely kidding!. . . DEFINITELY KIDDING! Another factor is the ability of unprofitable and illegal coys to trade effectively on the NSE. We had cases of coys like Capital oil, Afro Oil trading on the stock market with no visibile accounts, offices and no signs of any commercial activities going on in the aforementioned companies. Interestingly, these coys were much more valuable on the market than some fundamentally tested companies. or how do you explain a coy like Afroil selling for about N15 without any audited accounts for 3 years!!I laughed when i saw it and i thought, your idea of a joke is definitely a classic one! |
I'm Bumping up this thread for the reading delight of Aunty Dora's supporters! |
Dora has a loose mouth, she lacks the basic composure spirit! All she is doing is to try to win the hearts of a few gullible Nigerians after her shameful tenure in the information ministry. She achieved a lot as the NAFDAC boss, yes? But as an information minister she súcks! someone should have told her flying a plane and sailing a ship are entirely two different things. . . . any other respectable individual with the slightest self worth would have resigned long time ago in protest of a corrupt government, but dear Aunty Dora being the Nigerian with an unquenchable thirst for power, she is will never do that, she will instead focus the slightest ways to paint herself white for all Nigerians to shout "Hail Aunty Dora, the best of them all" Other than exposing the world to the dirty contents of her buccal cavity, i will like someone to explain to us here what the woman has achieved in the information ministry! If you are on the Devil's team, eat the devil's food, don't come out and present yourself a saint. . . . . its is an insult to our intelligence! |

tkb417:wow! Tell me you are kidding pls! I'm so ignorant of the exchange, and am ashamed of it! I'm sorry if i sound so naive but how exactly do companies manage their risk exposure? What kind of activities keep all the Asset Management houses in business? I'm ashamed of that fat NSE boss for their lack of creativity and in the process loosing billions! |
There's a new sheriff in town! ![]() |
tkb417:My bad! pardon my ignorance, i thought there are some listed funds that are involved in those on the NSE. |
tkb417:You will have to be extra fast to be there before me. . because i am repositioning my portfolio to take advantage of both upward and downside movements Are you looking into Commodities and ETFs as well? tkb417:Oga tkb417, no kill me with laughter for here jor! I have read your posts in lots of previous Finance threads. . and i only looked forward to gaining more from you! |
tkb417:Wow. . this makes a lot of sense!. . . but to me it still means taking a lot of risk! a bullish trend might not even last for more than a day!. . . it could be as a result of transitory volatility from large buy and sell orders as opposed to fundamental volatility due to informational purposes. What if you invested 20 million in an Insurance stock and the companies announces possible bankruptcy! But still it sounds like a good strategy but i doubt if i can wait 2-3weeks before i offload my shares after seeing initial price gains. I believe i can learn a lot from you, but i don't know how to PM on nairaland ![]() AjanleKoko:Sorry boss. . . .your post is damn funny though |
I really wish i made a mad "kill" during the stock market boom, i was just too skeptical then And just so you know, am hating on you big time, . . . seems you have some good insider info Isn't insider information trading prohibited in Naija? Most exchange have laws against it! |
you really need to change your crack supplier and demand for a refund as well--------you got sold bad weed! |
tkb417:Well, without doubt am sure you know more than i do that the world of finance is in all entirety a risk return trade off, you can either take the risk that volatility on the NSE will remain constant for a while and then take the plunge in your investment. The situation the way i see it is just a little different from investing in junk securities with high returns and high risk! In as much as investment opportunities on the NSE looks a little dim and rovers with a lot of uncertainty, the CBN reforms so far has reverted prices back to their fundamentals, many of the prices currently reflects greatly the individual company performance except a for few undervalued ones which are mostly influenced by the current economical state of the country as well as investors irrationality. I believe the current reforms as well as regulators policies will only make the NSE stronger, and this will earn a lot of trust and confidence from investors globally. If the news of possible Acquisition is true, this should have been reflective in the stock price which is expected to jump at the arrival of such news, except maybe the NSE is the only exchange that defies all laws of an Efficient Market. My investment strategy will be to identify good Large value stocks in the Financial, technology as well as Manufacturing sectors |
what bothers me more is the effect all these will have on credit intermediation in the country and its subsequent effect on small cap industries But i believe investing on the NSE might be a gold mine with many companies having extremely low P/E ratios as well as strong growth fundamentals evident in the fact that a lot of them are shedding off their fixed costs components, it only points out to the fact that future ROI as well as ROE will be a plus for investors. I really hope folks will take advantage of these opportunities. |
