Is our President a Muppet or something relatively close?. . .or is he just suffering from a Jonathan-Peace syndrome marked by poor judgement and a defected ability to think logically before talking?. . clearly we aren't being led by a man with self confidence and assurance in his own abilities, if he doesn't believe in himself, why should we believe in him?

@violent   Nobody is justifying anything here, what i'm simply telling you is that between two evils, there is indeed a lesser one. How many cases of iranian invasion of  other countries have you heard except the make-believe you are being fed with which of course mostly are very untrue, unlike  the incessant US invasion of weaker countries especially when they have oil and the government in power not their puppets like ours in nigeria or when they have other political agenda pursue there and their government is not just giving in cheaply.  They invade, waste a lots of lives of innocent civilians and come up with one propaganda or the other just to have the cheap sympathy of weaklings like you to support their terror course.Anyway, there is a lot u need to learn about the world politics
Go ahead and watch this video http://video.yahoo.com/watch/8640401/23360060

and then come back with your bogus shyt that some evils are lesser than the other. . .ow some of you think is totally disgraceful.

US wasted a lot of lives?  What exactly do you expect? that the marines should keep shut and watch while they are been shot at by Iraqi military?

Okay, granted that the reasons US invaded Iraq was uncalled for, but in all honesty, if i were the president of a free world with an intimidating military presence, I would be matching troops into countries that kill for their blood-thirsty god in the name of religion!

BUT the point is that there are always nasty consequences to being a 419er and a fraudster. I don't know what exactly possessed the cop to shoot this yahoozee man but in some sense it is poetic justice that he should be slain in the hands of an officer of the law that he treated with so much didain.
Poetic Justice? this is not a V for Vendetta movie,  If there is any credibility or sound reasoning to poetic Justice, then one should question why politicians who loot the treasury and haunt us with their stolen loot walk about unabated.

It does seem that "Poetic Justice" and "nasty consequences" only come up in discussions when "lesser" Nigerians are killed in cold blood by the same people we trust to protect us. . . thus the irony in the thinking, the Police is your friend!

I had no idea when this thread turned into US-Iraqi war!

We are talking about people that are killed by governments of countries in the name of religion and you are justifying that with a civil causalities in Iraqi war?

We are talking about a state sponsored terrorism with groups such as  Hezbollah being actively promoted by the state and with a view to establish strong links in African countries and you justify this with civil causalities in a war?

How about non Americans that were beheaded in the full glare of a cheering public all to please a blood thirsty god somewhere?
CrimeRe: Police Boss In Custody For Murder by violent(m): 5:36pm On Dec 06, 2010
^^ stoopid!

A Nigerian was shot dead in his car by an officer of the law and all you could think about is. . . "serves him right". .

A dead cannot defend himself of allegations of fraud or cultisim, all you have based you silly thoughts on are outright, unestablished claims you were fed with by the press, .

And do you have any evidence that those who were there before him challenged the status quo since 1999 when we started practicing democracy again?.  .
Nah, they didn't that's why we need someone who could, and if Jonathan couldn't then he should do Nigerians a big favor by stepping down from the race---its not a birthright afterall

All past corrupt leaders are walking freely,  is today that the national assembly members started fleecing the country that you want to put the blame on goodluck. The only thing we know is to talk and lament here on nairaland, go and contest for elective positions and tell us what you found there. Keep on fighting goodluck while everyone is thieving left right and center like getting rid of him will solve our problem
Again, goodluck is responsible because he's the head of government, and his duty is to ensure that taxpayers money is not wastefully spent, the fact that it's the status quo does not necessarily mean it has to remain the same, Nigerians need a man who could stand his feet.
PoliticsRe: Mark And Bankole To Buy Official Residences by violent(m): 7:43pm On Dec 05, 2010
Why all these blame on jonathan, the statusquo exist before he came there so please fight the roots cause of the problem and not the symptom
what's the use of having a president who is too fragile challenge the status quo? Perhaps Mr President is afraid of the powers Bankole and Mr Mark wields and will happily lick their árses just to secure the PDP presidential ticket?

[You guys are missing the point if you think goodluck is your enemy and the problem we have in nigeria, i am sure people will start blaming him for PHCN woes./quote]
Nope, he's not the problem, and neither does he have a clue on how to address the problem. . .to lead Nigeria, you need balls of steel, and clearly Jonathan is a p****
PoliticsRe: Mark And Bankole To Buy Official Residences by violent(m): 4:59pm On Dec 05, 2010
