Man with integrity

It's a very rare trait in Nigeria today

Many people as long as "their interests is taken care of" and they are benefiting for the illegality, " they would conveniently play the ostrich

I pray his integrity is rewarded in due course

While the media distracts with Natasha vs Akpabio drama, Nigeria is on the verge of economic self-destruction.

🔹 2025 Budget: $36.6 billion
🔹 Oil Production Cost: $45/barrel
🔹 Budget Based On: $80/barrel
🔹 Current Oil Price: ~$60/barrel
🔹 Net Profit: Only $15/barrel → ~$8.2 billion/year

Nigeria needs $28 billion more to balance the budget.
But with falling oil prices and zero viable exports, who will lend Tinubu more money?
No lender wants to throw cash at a country that’s bleeding revenue.

To stay afloat, Tinubu is mortgaging Nigeria’s future oil—essentially collateralizing national assets.

This isn’t leadership.
This is liquidation.
Was the budget balanced abi nitio?
PoliticsRe: Oil Nations Scramble To Avert Economic Crisis After Prices Crash by Vision101(m): 2:07am On Apr 13, 2025

Tinubu’s grandstanding infrastructure obsession has all the markings of another debt-fueled disaster in the making. With oil crashing into the low $60s per barrel ( far below Nigeria’s budget breakeven) the only logical question is: who funds his dreams? His answer appears dangerously obvious ,more loans, higher interests, and a financial dependence on creditors who will eventually dictate Nigeria’s policies.

What Tinubu is building are not assets that generate future revenue or foreign exchange, they are legacy projects for ribbon-cutting ceremonies. Railways that cannot pay for themselves, roads without tolling strategy, power projects without market reforms. This is not visionary economics , it’s political optics borrowed at premium rates.

Nigeria is staring down a future of ballooning debt servicing costs, currency devaluation pressures, and even more taxes squeezed from an already battered population. Without structural reforms, productivity expansion, or genuine export capacity,

Tinubu’s current path feels like a fast-track to fiscal captivity.
What a boxer see in the ring a spectator will not see. That's why in Nigeria those so-called experts that make a lot of chochocho outside government fail woefully when they are appointed in government.

So why is your life stuck here. Ain’t worthy of America? Or you have no value to offer there so you rather stay here and be useless
Very good 👍 question. The reality of what is happening in America is don't run down your country no matter how bad because you have escaped to a foreign land. When things go wrong it's the only place you can go without a visa.

I thought pastor ibiyomie said it's hotter over there in America.

If you're an illegal alien then it's hotter for you, bcus you already know for sure you'll be deported.

But if you're legally living in America then you're in heaven

The fear of deportation is hotter than hell itself.
With the village idiot you can be deported even if you are a legal migrant. Pray that he doesn't wake up on the wrong side. This is the reality.

ZombieDredd:
Which means the 4 banks are doing better than our million banks.

Better to have 1 or 2 that works than have plenty for the sake of it.

Na weekly and monthly charges our banks wan use kill themselves
You are wrong. The size of our country requires more numbers. What four SA banks can handle can as well be handled by a number of Nigerian banks through syndication. So no advantage. It's appreciate what we have.
BusinessRe: Top 10 Banks In Africa by Vision101(m):
ibibiofirstlady:
Nigeria banks are overrated
The countries that you are comparing have larger banks but fewer numbers. Nigeria has more number of banks but few large banks. This might be as a result of the size of our country. What it means is that Nigerian banks have limited ability to handle large businesses. They can achieve the same purpose through syndication.

No Nigerian bank in the top 10 in Africa should tell you how poor Nigeria actually is
Not poor. It's because of the devaluation. The capital base has been eroded. That's why they are recapitalising.

Change that money to dollars and you will see they are probably doing worse than they did in 2015.

Meanwhile the increase is driven by Nigerians’ blood who now have to pay more than double for the energy products that Total is selling
Yours is always to change to dollar. If you change income wouldn't you change expenditure? What is used to compare is the inflation rate. You should be talking about discounting the figures with the rate of inflation to 2015 base.

All these trader's mentality is makes you guys look at everything as what is the dollar rate.

Coalition will be too loose and cannot win election. Only merger of parties can. Unfortunately all the characters don't have parties that they control. Therefore no merger. PBAT remains. It's simple logic.
