PoliticsRe: Minimum Wage Poor, Labour Leaders Betrayed Workers - Obasanjo by Vision101(m): 4:44pm On Mar 17, 2025
Judolisco:
Finally someone is saying it.... We should probe labour leaders.... Very corrupt set of people
Leave Obasanjo. Someone that's is highly intolerant is here criticizing labour. What minimum wage did he give to workers during his time? He has workers in Obasanjo farms. Has he made them the highest paid workers? Some people reduce their value through their actions.

We all know that HITECH Construction is owned by a Tinubu ally.
Didn't you read where he said that they looked at Apapa-Oworo road.

Note: food is extremely cheap and affordable unlike in Nigeria. That's why most that relocated after few months they look revived and fresh grin

You see this line here.

This is the third or fourth time I'm hearing this from someone abroad.

And this is one of the reasons most people would want to Japa. Especially those struggling to feed themselves in Nigeria.
To go eat food after spending millions?

Why would a former rector of a polytechnic japa in the first place only to end up in a factory?

Sometimes, I take these posts to be comical.

Those "bankers" were contract staff. Any previous permanent staff who works in a care agency must be very mad!
Sometimes it's just the mad rush to japa.
PoliticsRe: Dangote Receives Fresh Crude Supply From NNPCL As Pump Price Drops To N815/litre by Vision101(m): 8:28pm On Mar 15, 2025
Wisewriter:
I am still not impressed. We were told #200 per litre before.....

We have the oil, we have the refinery why removing #1 #1 when we can actually peg the pump price at N200 as earlier promised.

Removing all this #1 #5. #10 is not impactful to the lives of Nigerians.
Where is your personal refinery located? Let me come and buy at #10 per liter please I'm begging you.

You see why i can't even communicate with you? You left your brains at home while you are supposed to intelligently assert yourself in public. This question shows your level of critical thinking, i thought we all want a better country? I thought wrongly.
Yes I left it at home 🏠 so that it can cool off. I don't like overheat. Everyone is suddenly waking up expecting every magic to be done in less than two years.

Which landmark? Early voting that doesn't translate in the declared results? We don't need early voting we need electronic transfer of votes from the pooling unit in real time to curb rigging that's all but they won't because it will help chase them away from power and make Nigerians decide instead of these thieves in government. You sound as if you are unaware because you are a psychophant
Why didn't you remind Jonathan to do this through the 9th national assembly?

For the very 4th time we heard this news, it will still hit frontage again to seem like they are working. Last time it went to front page was in January. Are they saying no works had begun there till now?

Lagos to Ore is an eyesore
Ore to Benin is terrible and will be impassable in the first few rainfalls
Onitsha to Enugu has only one lane working
Ugwu Onyeama second lane has been abandoned

Long hisssssssssss
Anytime I drive from Enugu to Aba, I say thank you to Buhari and APC. The road is smooth and sweet. What our support to PDP could not do for 16 years our hatred to Buhari and APC did it. The same applies to second niger bridge. No more traffic hold up and upper iweka nonsense when I'm returning from Lagos to Owerri. Let's hate PBAT and APC more so that they will do more grin grin

I congratulated you that you are brilliant. Check average age of leaders around the world. Check average age of past American presidents. Leading a nation is not like running a department or company. It's very complex. A lot of experience, wisdom and people you can rely on are required.

Tribalism and illiteracy are Nigeria's biggest problems.

I mean, Sanwo-Olu told you that Lagos GDP is bigger than that of Johannesburg, Capetown and you believed?

Sanwo-Olu did not say it. Notable international agencies that you usually believe released.the data. If you have a contrary data that is verifiable then release it.

Counter your argument with statistics. Small shops that depend on imported goods. Why wouldn't they be locked up.
PoliticsRe: Hardship: Your Policies Worsened The Situation, Afenifere Tells Tinubu by Vision101(m): 12:41pm On Mar 15, 2025
Bobloco:
Tinubu has lost it all.

Here is a man who got so excited about being sworn in as president of Nigeria, went off-script, and screamed 'Subsidy is gone' without understanding what it entails or putting measures in place to mitigate its effects on the citizens.

Today, Nigerians are being subjected to untold hardships, hunger, and starvation because of that thoughtless statement and other thoughtless policies.
If it was not done then the hawks would not have allowed it. These are decisions that no government had the guts to take for many years. The signs of bankrupt economy were evident: 1. We were printing money to foot recurrent costs. 2. Fx obligations could not be met. 3. State governments were owing months of salaries. 4. Contractors were not paid etc etc.

If he is really concerned about the prosperity of Nigeria, then he should hand over to Osibanjo or PO. At what age does he want to contest for the next election? Is it fair that a man of his age will rule the most populous black nation in the world for 8 years?!! The cost of bread rose from 500 in 2023 to 2,500. I can't even eat bread now! Breaaaaadddd!!!! One mudu of garri rose from 300 to 1,500. Drinking garri is now for the high and mighty! Gaaarrrrrriiiii!!!! Dangote is struggling to make fuel cheap but evil transporters are still increasing fares because of high cost of import duties from this government. When will a man buy car?!!!!! How will a marry train children in this economy?!! All the girls are entering prostitution to survive!!! Churches are filled with men and women asking for financial breakthrough without salvation!!!! What we need right now is Nigeria breakthrough ooo. Pastors are prophesying visa approval for Nigerians?!!!! Visa approval and foreign citizenship is now a great miracle!!!!! Ewooooooooooooo. Who go epp us ooooo
So age is your own main requirement for a position that is as complex a the president of Nigeria. Your are very brilliant.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu To Catholic Bishops: I’m Not A Religious Bigot by Vision101(m): 12:15pm On Mar 15, 2025
docdes:
These our so-called spiritual leaders are colluding with our political leaders to oppress us because they have all they need. They don't hussle to eat or do anything for themselves, so they only pay a lip service to our plight.

Imagine a country where the global 4th deadliest terror group roams around freely but was never proscribed or arrested by the government and these bishops don't talk about it. But the same government knows how to proscribe a secessionist group, and how to arrest Kanu and Igboho in foreign countries because these people represent Christian-dominated parts of the country.

Even recently, we've had many cases of Catholic priests getting kidnapped and killed, but these pot-bellied bishops chose to go smiling with Tinubu on photo and talking about irrelevant things to make the US wonder if they are wrong in saying that Christians are being targeted in Nigeria.

Whether we like it or not, there's a conspiracy against the Nigerian masses. Our government and our media works with these Islamic terror groups to work against us but those who should care (like these bishops) are too overfed to know or condemn it. See what the article "How The Nigerian Media Empowers Terrorism" puts it...
So anybody or group that did not fight PBAT is against the masses and any that fights irrespective of how untrue, then they are for the masses?

but this same tinubu said that buhari was the best candidate so now basically apc is fixing the problem apc couldn’t fix right?
I had so much confidence in Buhari's regime primarily because of the frugal and disciplined attributes of his regime when he was military head of state. Alas he disappointed. Either the main guy back then must have been Idiagbo or the military undemocratic nature was responsible.

As for APC fixing a problem it couldn't fix under Buhari, nothing is wrong with it. I don't like discussing parties I prefer to look at the individual and do unbiased reasoning and assessment.

How many people of the middle class in Asian countries that we cite as examples use cars? I have worked with Romanians and indians that are professionals. Immediately they were given cars here they feel so happy because they can't get them in their countries.

Petrodollar gave us a false sense of wealth. It made us (including our leaders) think that we are rich while the truth is that we are a poor nation. It's time to adjust.

PoliticsRe: House Of Reps Approve Tinubu's Tax Reform Bills by Vision101(m): 12:29am On Mar 14, 2025
Nigeria needs tax reform. It's long overdue. Some of the amended laws are of 1939. People have played politics with this nation for too long. Most of PBAT reforms should have been done so many years ago to lay the foundation for the greatness of this nation.

Because they are coming very late and in difficult times that's why the pains are much. It's either we reform or we sink.
