I agree with all your explanations but a deficit does not come only through reckless expenditure. At budgeting point if you want to expand your economy particularly where your income is low you will deliberately budget more expenditure than your income and borrow to fill the gap. All experts have been shouting that one major problem of the Nigerian economy is low income. That's why this regime is focused on expanding our income base. The ordinary persons will not understand this.

Well GDP is not a sign of better well being, it just a measure of how much people are willing to pay for things.
So the more expensive things get the higher the GDP.
It doesn't reflect the well being of the society.

Say for example you use to buy 3 oranges for N50 and now its N100, then the GDP grows.

Once opon a tin in your village/community when are stressed you can take walk to the river/beach but now a rich man has Boughy and fenced the place so you have to pay, the GDP increases.

GDP increase in the matter of fact means reduced comfort for the people.

You must document your source which will be verified. No man that earns legit money will bring in $299k cash. Even the country of origin will not allow it. This is illegal money and the man is aware.
