Yet somehow, we’re supposed to excuse all this because of what he met on ground?

In my reaction to your first comment I had taken you on the issue of comparison of Jonathan's six years rule and Tinubu's two years rule. I took you on and asked you not to bring Buhari factor hence we didn't bring OBJ's. Hence you are interested in wholesale comparison of pdp's 16 years rule, I will say let's go:

1 What did PDP inherit from the military - economy, security, industries and national perception?
2 What was the disposition of the international community to help Nigeria as a new democracy - economy, security, social etc?
3 How did they use these to rebuild Nigeria and set her up for future sustainable growth?
4 What was the level of earnings from oil for this duration?
5 What was the electricity situation?
6 Two of the highest source of corruption and investment killer in this nation were subsidy - petroleum products and fx - what did PDP do?
7 Put all the above together and wait till APC completes 16 years then you can do an honest and unbiased comparison. If you want to compare the end of a man you must consider his beginning and all his circumstances.

Compare what Jonathan inherited, what he earned and what he left behind after six years with what PBAT inherited, earned and what Nigerian economy has become in 28 months. Don't forget to look at the prospects. Don't bring the usual statement of Tinubu brought Buhari. We didn't mention OBJ and Yaradua.

Nobody is asking PENGASEN to build refinery. None was functioning before now. Someone risked his wealth to build one and employed so many Nigerians and the oil cabals are using unions to disrupt his business.

Don't mind busy body Sowore. This is not a petition. You said that someone bought a property worth a particular amount but you didn't provide evidence of fraud or corruption. Does he think that Americans are jobless that they will busy themselves trying to find out how Wike got the money when the petitioner didn't provide evidence of corruption. The courts don't help litigants to prove their cases.

People are free to build their refinery. People are free to source fx and import. What Dangote is teaching everyone is that in business expect change, prepare for it and adjust to it. People have made fortune through subsidy and fuel importation. They believe that it will be like that forever. All the tank farm owners will have to think of alternative business. Why didn't their unions join resources to build medium sized refinery? No,. they only want quick wealth that don't provide jobs.

Is the Pastor productive or not? Transfers sometimes are not done for doing sake. There's a parish in Ipaja, the pastor is rich, arrived the location as PIC Area. He's been there for over 25 years. His records are super. He has taken an area headquarters to provincial hqtrs. He's now the PICP. He has brought down every building and he said that he's building a cathedral. The parish runs four services on Sunday. The pastor is even a part time pastor.

Keep wailing. The state governors are happier than before. They couldn't execute projects before but they are doing them now. Some of them owed close to two years salary areas to workers but they are paying as and when due now.

I don't think that this is true. People these days put themselves in trouble by saying all manner of things against the church to excite the crowd.

Similar thing happened some years ago in RCCG. Remittance had been done for the month. When such report came up the supervising senior pastor directed the parish pastor to effect the refund. In fact this was the whole amount. The tither said that he's withdrawing wholly the whole amount and the refund was effected.

In my parish earlier this year a case similar to what is posted here took place. The same day I ordered that a cheque should be prepared, I signed it and it was handed over to the person.

I don't think that there's any serious church that would do what is posted here. Real financiers of the gospel are quiet, happy and harvest heavily from what they are doing. They are not the multitude that give peanut and make all kinds of noise.

If you set a target on revenue and you achieve it , what is wrong in announcing it? Don't forget that your budget is deficit. Even if you earn above your budget the implication is that it will help you reduce your deficit. It doesn't give the luxury of reckless spending.

Obi sometimes in an attempt to sound as opposition and look good mocks himself. If there's provision for payment of pensioners it must be in the approved budget. Even if you earn double your target revenue you are not permitted by law to spend outside what is in the law. The best any president can do is to send a supplementary budget to the legislature.

In fx market fifty naira is a major amount. Meanwhile it is expected that naira should be hovering around 1,450 - 1,550. Any movement below will be major achievement and any movement above is a major red flag. If the movement is within the bound of #100 then it's a measure of stability.

My greatest wish in the light of what people are saying now is that I wish that Obi had won the 2023 election. Nigerians would have seen how tough the country would have been. He wouldn't have the guts to take the type of tough decisions that PBAT took.

State governments couldn't pay salaries for over a year. FGN was borrowing to pay salaries. Contractors were being owed. Foreign airlines couldn't remit their tickets sales. There were backlogs of fx obligations. Crude oil not produced were being sold upfront to subsidize fx rate and petroleum products. FGN was printing naira without economic backing. Neutral experts knew where Nigeria was headed to.

People were making money abroad, bring it in through black market rate and use the high volume naira to buy cheap CBN dollar through connection. It was crazy 😧. You could bring in $1000 through black market and take out $1600 through CBN rate.
