swiperthefox:God bless you! I am appalled when people seem to be blind to the obvious. Especially a race that is so publicly disdained by the very same person they advocate for. Bunch of fools! |
Shehu Sani the Maradonna senator that played us all. She him still courting both sides codedly so that in the event that he still decamps, it would be public knowledge that he never was one of the APC stalwarts who were throwing insults at the so called defectors. |

Over the past few years, Nigeria has uncharacteristically begun to have increased documented cases of suicides - and these cases transcend age group (most recent was a child of just about 8 or 9 yrs somewhere in the Northern region which I read on Nairaland), social background (upper, middle and lower class), Geographical region (it looks as if almost every part of Nigeria seems to have the same problem). Cases of suicide usually start or are caused by deep feelings of hopelessness that when left unchecked or are masked, can lead to depression which forces the victim to commit suicide. Heaven forbid but one day, this victim could be our relative, friend, boss, that friendly neighbor of newspaper vendor. Let's ensure our loved one are not part of this growing statistic by reading the below and sharing to our committee of friends and family. lets be each other's brothers keeper! Cheers. Shopping Sprees Is your shopping out of control? Find yourself covering up your spending? For some people who are depressed, it is not uncommon for compulsive buying -- in shops or on the Internet -- to serve as a distraction or self-esteem booster. But "retail therapy" is a short-lived high because it doesn't address underlying depression. Also be aware that shopping sprees could also be a sign of mania, in bipolar disorder Drinking Heavily Nearly a third of people with major depression abuse alcohol. If you feel that you need to drink to cope with anxiety and depression, you may be one of them. Although a drink may seem like it provides a lift when you're down, alcohol is a depressant, so overdoing it can make depression episodes worse and more frequent. Exaggerated Emotions Often people who are depressed show little emotional expression. Other times, they show too much. They can be suddenly irritable or explosive. They may express exaggerated feelings of sadness, hopelessness, worry, or fear. Some are caught up in a sense of worthlessness or a feeling of excessive or inappropriate glut. The key is a sudden change in behavior. If a person who is usually flat with their feelings becomes hyperemotional, depression may be the cause. Smoking Having trouble quitting smoking? Being depressed doubles your risk of smoking. Heavy smoking – more than a pack a day – and having a cigarette within 5 minutes of waking are common habits among smokers who are depressed. While depressed smokers are less likely to quit, they can. Quitting programs that use techniques similar to those used to treat depression, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy or antidepressant medications, seem to help. Not Taking Care of Yourself What does fastening your seatbelt have to do with depression? Suddenly neglecting basic self-care can be a sign of depression and low self-esteem. The signs may be as small as not buckling up or brushing your teeth or as big as skipping physical exams or not tending to chronic conditions such as heart disease or diabetes. Get help for your depression and you'll likely begin to take care of yourself again. Forgetfulness Depression may be one reason for feeling foggy or forgetful. Studies show that prolonged depression or stress can raise the body's levels of cortisol. This can shrink or weaken the part of the brain associated with memory and learning. Depression-linked memory loss seems to be worse for older people. The good news: Treating depression may also improve depression-related memory problems. Excessive Internet Use Prefer virtual social interactions to real-life ones? Spending excessive amounts of time on the Internet? It may be a sign of depression. Studies have shown a link between high levels of depression and excessive Internet use. People who overuse the Internet tend to spend their time on pornography, online community, and game sites. Over Eating and Obesity A 2010 study from the University of Alabama found that young adults who report being depressed tended to gain weight more around their waist -- a risk for heart disease. Other studies have linked depression with binge eating, particularly in middle-age people. Treating depression can help treat these problems. Shoplifting About a third of shoplifters suffer from depression. For some people who feel powerless and insignificant from depression, shoplifting provides feelings of power and importance. It can also provide a rush to counter depression "numbness." For people who shoplift because they are depressed, these feelings are more important than the item they are stealing. Back Pain Got a backache that won't quit? Studies show that depression may be a risk factor for chronic lower back pain. One study showed that up to 42% of people with chronic lower back pain experienced depression before their back pain started. Yet depression can often go ignored or undiagnosed because people don't associate it with aches and pains. By the same token, having chronic pain puts you at risk for depression. Risky Sexual Behavior Depression is more commonly associated with lost libido than with an increased interest in sex. But some people use sex to cope with depression or stress. Increased promiscuity, infidelity, sexual obsession, and high-risk behavior such as unsafe sex can all be signs of depression. It can also reflect problems with impulse control or be a sign of mania in bipolar disorder. And they can have serious, negative effects on health and in your personal life. HotMario:And the fuel costs spread out, all adds up so at the end of the day we are paying way more - per day/ per view/ naira. Its such a pity. |
frowland:What people who steal others pics do is to use the pics as a marketing tool to draw customers in, get them to place orders and (either never deliver as is the case of serious fraud on IG) or deliver more inferior versions of the weave or clothing (depending on the case). I doubt its Nina though - could be a rep working for her trying to make huge commissions or anyone who can pay for being "verified". |

My God! And who were the imbeciles clicking the Like button?? The signs were clearly all there from the text. Poor girl. We need to have a culture were we are everybody's keeper. people bottle things up when they could have simply talked to someone, had a shoulder to cry on. RIP dear, your demons can't hurt you no more. |
Awwww Kelly Handsome. Girls in my school were dying for him then and he too loved the attention. Those were the days mehn! ![]() Alas, I didn't really follow his music / career after graduation |
13yrs! My God. She had her whole life ahead of her. What a horrible way to die. May your soul rest in peace dear |
XingXhang:For where! I think they think way too highly of themselves in my honest opinion. I read a report about how the industry is evolving in such a way that influences so called level of influence will gradually erode as more people get into the bandwagon and how much they can charge per ad, begins to drop. It was a CNN article where they interviewed The Fat Jew (himself a social influencer who has now branched into wine making - without using himself as a brand!). That was on Monday or so, hence the article should still be somewhere on CNN's site. Twitter is the best. |
Gist that starts from Twitter, is recycled on Instagram, Nairaland will be getting 72hrs later ![]() |

Carbon copy of his dad. Look at that side profile view in the second pic. Amazing. Happy married life in advance |
investnow2013:Lord have mercy! Please you need to go on Twitter with these pics and copy as many media houses twitter handles as you can including your governor. This is not only unacceptable but also extremely dangerous. Lives in those houses matter. They shouldn't play with their lives at all. This is rainy season and just a little flash flood could render some of those houses to rubble |

End Times American pastor says Blood Moon is a prophetic sign of the apocalypse This doomsday prophet believes the upcoming Blood Moon could be the beginning of the end of the world.Express reports that US-based pastor Paul Begley is concerned that the upcoming Blood moon and lunar eclipse is a sign of the end of the world as we know it. On Friday, July 27, 2018, a total lunar eclipse is expected to make the moon red. For the doomsday preacher, this is a sign that the world is going to end soon. He backs this claim with three Biblical passages about the sun going dark and the moon turning red. These Blood Moon references can be found in the Book of Revelation, Book of Joel and the Acts of the Apostles. Is Blood Moon a prophetic sign of the apocalypse? In his latest appearance seen in the YouTube video above, he says, "the whole world is falling apart. It is an apocalypse now. It is all building up basically, it's all building up folks. This Blood Moon and it's apocalyptic signs are coming all together at one time." In an earlier video on Monday, July 23, Mr. Begley notes that the blood moon is only a signal of the end, not the end itself. "July 27 is not the end of the world. I repeat it's not the end of the world. But it's certainly an apocalyptic sign of the end of days," he says. More Christians weigh in: He has been supported by Pastor Mark Biltz, who joined him in a previous video. According to him, the blood moon is a sign of God's love. He said: "It's God showing his love for Israel with the total lunar eclipse and saying how he's still in covenant with them." Pastor Irvin Baxter of the Endtime Ministries also believes that the blood moon is a prophetic sign of the end of the world. The Endtime Ministries claimed: "The scriptures clearly say that the moon will be turned into blood after the Great Tribulation and at the time of Armageddon and the Second Coming of Jesus to earth." Despite these claims, scientists maintain that blood moon and the total lunar eclipse is a natural occurrence which happens once or twice a year. This year's eclipse is expected to last for one hour and 43 minutes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bPOq9A5PuU Culled From:https://www.pulse.ng/communities/religion/end-times-american-pastor-says-blood-moon-is-prophetic-sign-id8656060.html?utm_medium=email&utm_source=newsletter&utm_campaign=daily-2018-07-26

I watched a partial clip of the video on IG. She actually asked they sow a seed of money and was shocked. I don't support a gang up on any MOG and the banning of anyone to legitimately travel but I do NOT approve of what she said. We should stop supporting what is clearly wrong all in the guise of Christianity please |

If the pictures are anything to go by and these are his "supporters", then he has nothing to fear. Moving on........ |
Why is Atiku saying this now? Is he trying to use psychology to remind Saraki and his supporters of his deed so they don't plot against his bid as PDP presidential candidate during the run up to the primaries? Cos we all know that Saraki is the only other strongest contender. Come sef, where is Shekaru ? |
