Ms_Steph: it is bcoming annoying
Yea, it is. But don't let it annoy you much. They chose that option and its being working out for them. All you have to do is choose what will work out for you. Define "womanhood" in your own terms.

Amen o my sister. May He help too.

Ms_Steph: some of dem have d dumbest excuse. Imagine a woman saying washing of plates nd cooking is stressful for her in her marital home.
grin Well, some of them were brought up with maids at their beck and call and they became perpetually lazy . While some have now seen putting a house together as "slavery." They will rather be a "career woman" than a "woman." And I ask, before that "career" was attached, were we not "women" first? Why walk around as a "career" and pay other person to be a "woman" for you?

Well, their lives their call!

I'm not gonna blab about how easy it is, you know being a mum, a wife and a worker. I'm not there yet so I have no idea, but I do know that nothing is impossible with proper planning.
Having said that, op you are absolutely right! I don't know what some of our ladies are turning into. They are annoyingly lazy and I couldn't help but wonder how they were brought up.
In as much as being a mum, a wife and a career woman is not easy, I'd find a way to make it work cos I have and will still have NO HOUSEHELP POLICY in my home. Whatever the Househelp will do for me I'd monetise it. That way I'd have peace in my own house.

Afam4eva: It makes one appear doesn't mean the person actually is.
Yea, hence the word "appear."

Its a bad manner.

Enegod: i tot u like competition
Sports, fashion or cooking competition? Maybe. But killing competition? No.

Why would you think that anyway?
FamilyRe: Does Chewing Gum Make You Irresponsible? by vivianc(f): 8:36am On Apr 23, 2013
It depends on how it is chewed and where. Chewing gum the way a goat chews grass on the road sure makes one appear irresponsible.

RomanceRe: Couples And Wedding Rings....will You Enforce It On Your Spouse? by vivianc(f): 10:30pm On Apr 21, 2013
I love it when married men wear their rings o. But to me I think its a sign of commitment and not responsibility. The part of the world I stay, married men don't hide their rings even when they are chasing young girls like randy goats they are.

I love rings, they really look great on my finger, and I'm gonna rock mine when the time comes.

butta: sweetheart r u serious. ? No fall mugu for that bobo so tey u dey give am ur ATM pin in d name of love grin sweetheart r u serious. ? No fall mugu for that bobo so tey u dey give am ur ATM pin in d name of love
grin I understand, I guess I'm wired that way. I pray I don't meet criminally minded people. Giving my pin or ATM card to people I love ain't a big issue for me. My brother and a couple of my friends use it, and I still use the same pin. How much dey the account sef? grin

If I can't let you touch my phone, I sure as well won't let you be in my house alone.

davidylan: It matters not a jot. My mother did the househelp thing too. Left home at 11 because parents couldnt afford to send her to school. If not for her... where would i be?

Kudos to strong women like you who are not ashamed to do what it takes to make a success of your life. God bless you.
Yea, that's why I'm gonna make sure that none of my kids experience this. It ends with me. Though they are gonna know that life is tough.

Tashamania: Your hussles sure did pay off. And am glad to hear that.

And yes, yes! Your parents must have trusted you to let go at such age.

I cant remember how I was when I was 16 but my immediate kid sis who is 16 now, doesnt even know how to cook and mum wouldnt even leave her at home all by herself or even allow her go out by herself, so, i can imagine. SIs, you really tried. I give you an upper hand on this one, walahi.

Let me know if that guy or any guy tries to ill-treat you in anyway! You deserve all the respect you can get in a man smiley
cheesy you know I didn't choose this, life threw it at me. Babe, if I had to choose, I would have chosen to be a very rich mummy's girl grin.

I believe your sis will learn with time.

Thank you very much, Tasha.

Tashamania: Seriously, I await her response. I really wanna know. Its quite too young.

Did she go do a maid for someone or something huh undecided
To answer your question? Yes, I did the maid/house help stuff pretty well. I lived with a lot of people (relatives) while growing up, I also hawked goods on the streets but I stopped after secondary school.

What does it matter? I'm glad I did, it shaped my life.
