FamilyRe: A Weekend Get-Away With Wifey! !!! by vivianc(f): 7:40am On May 15, 2013
biolabee: I was in Uyo 4 years back but never had the opportunity to get to the famed Eket beach

I hear it's serene and beautiful and it's best around festive periods like Easter or Xmas

Once you get to uyo you will take a cab to eket
I went to ibesikpo to chop one point and kill catfish then just after the eket/oron junction

Good times!

I will let our brothers/sisters from akwa ibom say more on it
Alright, thank you. Would make more enquiries........
Menh, life is good!

biolabee: Hmmm don't know much about that side but I hear Brass is lovely.
That is somewhere I wish I visited long ago

For your location, Eket beach or calabar will be swell

When I said no to obudu, it was just a reference to the distance and cost and the serenity factor

Another place is abraka but that may be too 'youngish' as per say na student full the place and the nitelife is a distance away

I like nitelife close to my hotel when I go out like that
Brass? Not a chance! I'm scared of the ocean and boats. Obudu Ranch is not a good idea too. Read so many crazy things I probably can't do alone, lovely place tho.

Eket beach? Sounds lovely, so tell me more about it.

biolabee: Ok within the country.. you have Eket beach, Calabar (marina resort), Ibeju Lekki, Whispering Palms - Badagry

The challenge is where you are based... lag or ph??

Obudu is fun as a couple or a group...As DK said Lacampagne is ok also

obudu is not fun alone
I'm based in Bayelsa state. So where is fun alone?

thorpido: madam instinct, carry go.You think a life shaping decision like marriage is based on instinct?
So you tell me! What exactly is marriage based on? What on earth is guaranteed? Are u married? If yes, would you have proposed to your spouse or accepted his proposal if you weren't convinced in your guts that you were doing the right thing? No matter how 'perfect' the spouse seems?
Think my friend, think!

Sharrap there tongue. His mouth wasn't smelling, there was no deep kissing or tongues involved. It was just a fun thing and it meant nothing.
RomanceRe: Share Ur Worst Experience In A Party (devil's Basket). by vivianc(f):
grin grin. Devil's pick was really devilish.

Had 2 experiences; one happened when I was younger and the other happened quite not long ago.

So I was young, and there was this bash and I was one of the organisers. So 3 of my toasters where aware of the bash, tho I personally invited the one I liked most, but the one that was spending the most on me came anyway, to him he 'owns' me. When my friend informed me that 3 of them were around, I knew I was in for a drama, so I decided to fly solo.
So I had almost scaled through when the MC sighted me where I was hiding, called me out and I reluctantly came out. He asked if my bf was here, I didn't utter a word. He then asked the guys if any of them were interested in stripping me, all that was required was 2k which was a big money then. I was hoping that none could afford it but surprisingly someone came out and dropped #2500. I became really terrified.

I was wearing a sequence spag gown which was the ish then. Then he started with my shoes, and wristwatch................
Then my 3 toasters started acting, coming out to pay the ransom. Other guys joined too but the MC seemed insatiable. He wanted more money I guess.

Then my earrings were gone, and the guy was stripping one of the spag hands, now I was embarrassed and furious at the MC. Well, the one I liked ran out of cash, the other one too and the rich one bought me, again. But that was after I ran off stage clutched to my dress. People were clapping but I was consumed in shame, later my things were returned to me. Since then I swore never to attend a bash again. The 3 guys also clashed after they found out the 3 of them were there for me.

Then the second one happened recently. I was on the bridal train and this cute sleek guy was one of the groom's men. He had nice lips btw, I was already kissing those lips via bluetooth. grin
So there was a bachelor's party and the train decided to go since we had nothing to do at home (we already threw a bridal shower 3 days before).
During the devil's pick I was called out. The MC instructed me to look around and call out any guy of my choice and kiss him for 10mins or pay 10k.
Haha, before he could finish, I don already to drag the prince charming come, even if I get 10k to pay, I needed to at least peck those lips.
I was going for a peck o, and this guy grabbed me and started kissing me. The MC put a microphone under our mouths to amplify the sound. grin It was really crazy. Embarrassing at first but ................ after sometime. tongue
When we were done with the 'act' amidst cheers, I walked straight to our designated driver, got the car key and went to stay in the car for a while. Shortly after the prince charming came looking for me ....................... Lol. That was the beginning of a beautiful friendship tho.

Princess zoe: Popowaa i concur with your opinion. You just took the words outta my mouth. Vivian dear, our instincts can only be depended upon in marriage issue if the Holy Spirit is the one giving you the idea.
I don't know what you mean by 'holy spirit giving my idea' but as human, I'm also a spirit being and I'm in tune with my spirit.
RomanceRe: Can You Go Into Marriage Without Passing Through Relationship ? by vivianc(f): 1:29pm On May 09, 2013
Yes I can, once my instincts convince me to.
RomanceRe: Women, Alcohol And Morals. by vivianc(f): 3:14pm On May 08, 2013
Princess zoe: There is noting wrong with a woman drinking alcohol in the public but am against taking it in excess. A man or woman who drinks to stupor lacks moral and such a person is an ill bred. Personally i cannot date a guy that drinks himself to stupor . Is a bad trait.
Exactly.
RomanceRe: Women, Alcohol And Morals. by vivianc(f): 2:54pm On May 08, 2013
chikk: So why don't you take it if you think its ok? I'm sure you're above 18years of age
I already gave u the reason, no reason. Drinking is not my forte, be it juice, alcohol or cocktail, unless water.

There are other things I don't take; oranges, onion, sharwama, etc. It doesn't mean taking them is bad.

RomanceRe: Women, Alcohol And Morals. by vivianc(f): 2:22pm On May 08, 2013
Enegod: you are a lady that's why you are saying this...most men don't take a girl that takes alcohol (expercially bear) in public serious..It's not a sign of a 'well brought up' lady..its not even advicable for a lady to take alcohol..
reasons
*Women are more vulnerable than
men to alcohol’s effects, even after
drinking smaller amounts.
*Heavy drinking can lead to increased
risk of health problems such as liver
disease, brain damage, and breast
cancer.
*Women are as likely as men to
recover from alcohol dependence, but
women may have more difficulty
gaining access to treatment.
First of all, I said drink "responsibly." Heavy drinking is not good for anybody, be it a man or a woman.

But saying ladies that take alcohol are not taken seriously? It brings me to this question, what planet are you from? Cos your statement is quite fallacious.

P.S. I don't drink, have never tasted anything alcoholic, and I don't have a reason for that.
RomanceRe: Women, Alcohol And Morals. by vivianc(f): 1:30pm On May 08, 2013
I don't see anything wrong with a lady taking alcohol, whether in private or public provided she is above 18 and drinks responsibly.

baby_mama: Looks like you will be by yourself then because almost every man with normal testosterone level has that number 6.
It is unmanly not have some air of arrogance intertwined with self confidence
That is the plain truth sis
Speak for yourself sis, that you are comfortable with arrogance doesn't mean I should be.
