PoliticsRe: 2015: Jonathan Must Hand Over To Buhari by Wadeoye(m): 12:03pm On Jan 14, 2013
obi4eze: When I first saw the topic, the question that came to my mind was why? Is he the best candidate? Even if people do not want the President to continue, why must it be Buhari? Well, God dey.
He is the best on the political scene today. Also, he commands highest number of followers among individual politicians on the opposition side. And individually, nobody in the ruling party commands the kind of followership even with all there money. He is the man for the job.
PoliticsRe: Pastors Encouraging Corruption- Tunde Bakare by Wadeoye(m): 11:30am On Jan 14, 2013
thelastPope: I don't want to derail the thread but please don't try to distort the facts. The killers kept shouting sai Buhari! You can't change that fact. But that is not the topic of this thread so let's not derail the thread.

Am not a Bakare fan but I completely concur that the preachers are encouraging and in fact, promoting corruption. It is just sad.
Hear yourself. Because they were shouting sai buhari, the easiest conclusion your watery brain can reach is that Buhari must have sent them?

Buhari is based in Katsina and there was no case of corper or southerners being killed. And not even in Kaduna, a neighboring state to katsina where Buhari leaves. What interest then was Buhari protecting in Bauchi, a far away state, that will make him order the killing of corpers in Bauchi and didnt give the same order in the state where he resided?

PoliticsRe: CPC After Buhari And Bakare What Next? by Wadeoye(m): 9:55am On Jan 14, 2013
faithin9ja: Apart from Buhari & Bakare is there any nationally recognised figure in CPC? is CPC not a one man party?

Please GenBuhari do not reply with your newspaper cuttings, they do not answer any questions
Shut the Bleep up - it is smelling.

Man leave Bakare out and focus on Buhari, your main target. An individual with strong personality and idiology can start a platform for people of like minds to join, learn and make their own contribution. This is what Buhari has done with CPC in a jungle called Nigeria to liberate you and your children from the shackles of misrule.

I dont understand how you think man. What makes a person a national figure? When you join PDP and loot commonwealth? Because all the personalities in CPC are not in PDP and have not looted commonwealth, they are not national figure? Tonny Momoh, David West, El Rufai, Okechukwu, to mention a few are not national figures?

Can anybody in your family or tribe single handedly form a party and gather such popularity with such a short period of time? Can any of your so called national figure in PDP pull out of PDP today and form a party that can gather so much followers?

I pity you...

The issue here is political and not religious, pls stop making a mountain from an ant-hill
Man, I also have a lot of xtians friends who are for Buhari but you only find them in South West. The reason I said "especially from SE". I am not generalizing but I know majority of the noise makers are igbos (all of whom are xtains).

U try to paint it black, well dia is notin God can not do because all inspiration is given by God n he has d ability to let d car drive witout fuel. Dat's y de call him Ominiscience God.
You are wrong man - the site is not anti-christianity. But we have a lot of intellectuals here scattered all over the world with different views of life - and experienced and educated people. So, when local lazy people who are scamming others in the name of religion in Nigeria come here to post superstitions directly or indirectly, you won't get better responses than what you are reading on this thread. It is only in Nigeria where this kind of lazy belief/superstition controls poor/hopeless minds.
Christianity EtcRe: Pastor Adeboye Drove Car Without Petrol From Ore - Lagos by Wadeoye(m): 10:06pm On Jan 13, 2013
KiksAsso: @ Poster and Author! I want you to have it at the back of your mind that Pastor Adeboye, a Ph.D holder in Mathematics would have considered all these factors in the operation of his car before coming out to declare it as a miracle.

My Husband had once driven a Honda Bulldog on reserve fuel from Akowonjo to Oregun and then to the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway(close to Seven-up tollgate) before finally getting fuel. This is not to classify it as miracle though.
However, what we are talking about here in the case of Pastor Adeboye is a journey from Ore in Ondo State to Surulere in Lagos State which you will agree with me is not a small distance.
Questions for you;

(1) How much fuel was in the car before leaving Ore?
(2) If fuel level was low before leaving Ore, I expect the pastor to know this. Does it then mean that pastor delibrately didn't want to buy fuel even when he knew he didnt have much fuel in his car? I know there are many filling stations on the road between Ore and Lagos.

I also travel and I know what I do before leaving for Lagos or on the road to lagos. The only thing you can't prepare for is traffic because it is not predictable. In this case , the journey happened during the yuletide period - hence, there is no traffic issue.

It is funny that some mediocres can come here to promote superstition and lies.

If he believes he can drive a car without petrol with the help of whatever, we can try it again in the full glare of Nigerians. We will give him a working car with empty tank and let him make the car move.

Remember a pastor that entered a lion cage in Ibadan zoo sometime ago saying he would command the Lion, what happened to him?

Alxmyr: sentiment apart, a random check on 2 of the members of the committee is interesting.
Dr. Osagie Ehanire is a member of board of trustee, Gen. T.Y. Danjuma foundation.
T.Y. Danjuma remains a staunch member of PDP.

The most interesting is Prof. Buba Bajoga, a former Managing Director of NITEL.
A judiciary panel that investigated NITEL/MTEL fraud indicted him for N 16 Billion fraud.
Up till now he has not defended the allegation in court. He only did what Peter Odili did.
Get a judge to stop prosecution.

Let me check further!
Dont waste your time, the people who appointed them know them very well and it is not your mischievous checks on them that will bring out the unknown.

Dont come here to tell us someone has a case in court and has not defended himself. Who stops the court from jailing him? No matter what, PDP controls the apparatus of government and could ensure speedy trial of any case in court. So, tell your party to do the needful if they have a case against the man.

I am not here to defend anybody but no propangada can stop the merger and the impending calamity that will soon befall PDP.

gboss4sure: Man am not a PDP agent, I hate PDP with passion but it won't stop me from speaking the truth. ACN is a youroba party always putting the interest of yourobas before anyother thing, CPC is an hausa party and they always put north this north that in every of their statment. How do you expect such parties that does not have the interest of other regions at heart to win a presidential seat or you guys think that Presidential seat Is like house of rep, governors positions. PDP is a national party and you can't hear them talking about the interest of a particular region above the interest of Nigeria @ large. Like I said ACN and CPC can't do nada. Nigerias re too informed and they know the truth. So get ready for the action film in 2015 if Nigeria still exist till then.
You hate PDP abi? Ok tell us the way out of PDP or shut up your mouth.

Jarus: That's the tragedy. Anything said by Buhari is termed inflammatory while other politicians say similar or even worse things and nobody raises any eyebrow. I remember Tinubu, fielding questions from journalists ahead of 2003 polls that 'if PDP try to rig Lagos elections in 2003, what happened in Darfur would be a child's play to what will happen in Lagos'. If such had come from Buhari, imagine.
Our xtian brothers and sisters in the south are the noise makers especially those from SE. May God save us from them - any statement from northern political activists/leader who are looking to better the lot of their people is termed by our southern brothers as inflammatory.

Akainzo: And they voted against his candidates by voting for CPC?
You do need to read, comprehend, understand, digest and then reason things out before making a comment.
The court nullified 10 candidates, but replaced them with 10 other CPC lawmakers. That shouldn't be hard to read and understand now...
That shows the level of mediocrity and laziness that now revages the south especially the south east.
PoliticsRe: CPC Releases Names Of Merger Committee Members by Wadeoye(op): 10:15am On Jan 13, 2013
J12: PDP is not Nigerias problem, most of these politicians in ACN, CPC, ANPP. . . Were all in the PDP where they all had their own share of the national cake. Now they're in other parties acting like the PDP is the bane of the country's development.
Don't be fooled, these people don't have the interest of the country at heart. They want power and absolute control of Nigeria's resources, something they couldn't get while they were in the PDP. If they ever get hold of national authority, we are doomed.
No problem - let power goes round. PDP have had their own fair share which they misused. Power should go to another party and if they also misbehave, we chase them out again. This is the only way to ensure politicians sit up and do the will of the people. Your imbe.cilic advice of saying all parties are the same makes no sense.

JESUS IS THE WAY TO ETERNAL LIFE.
How? has he not been a xtian before? He has seen even more than you in xtianity and decided to ambrace the right path after spending years in the wilderness of xtianity. We can't say this man converted because he was poor. Most of the people that got convert to xtianity in Africa have done so either to enjoy free education or for job opportunity - in other words, people go into xtianity for economic reason, not really for God.

confusion247: Imo People should open their arms and welcome all the goodies that comes with Islam.
1- Suicide bombers

2-Jihadist

3-Terrorist

4-multiple bomb blast

5-sharia law

6-mujahideen

7-child abuse in disguise of marriage

8-72 virgins

IMO people should always remember,
1- Never to criticize Islam, it's activities or operating system.

2-Never to insult Koran or allow people joke with it.

3-Never insult Muhamed or allow people insult Him
IMO people should always be ready to slash the throat of anyone who opposes islam as USMAN DANFODIO and Muhamed did during their time.
fINALLY, IMO people should always remember that Islam is a religion of peace PISS
Shut up your ignorant evil mouth. South West is majority muslim and there have not been anything like bombing here - the people behing bombing in the north are politicians with even some powerful southerners supporting the cause purposely to divide the north.

In west here, you can also see the speed of progress in terms of physical development, moral values, etc all of which are absent in south east. The earlier you accept islam the better for your children - for me, it is your children that I pity.

You were making sense but suddenly you brought in mediocrity when you said schools and church were given the shape of a mosque. What is the sense here? You are such a bigot that you dont want to see anything that resembles other peoples' belief and the same you will start crying if the northern muslims insist on Sharia in their states? You want to be given freedom to build church in the north but the same you will not want to see anything that resembles mosque in your states. Who is the hopeless bigot? I keep asking and will be happy if you can answer.

And are suspecting that your governor wants to convert to Islam?

What did we Westerners benefitted from OBJ rule?
