Politics › Why Nnamdi Kanu Should Consider Asari Dokunbo Election Calls by Warship(op): 11:45am On Dec 04, 2018 |
Anything in excess, a lot of times becomes bad.
Election boycott was to prove that IPOB and not the politicians is in charge of SE/SS.
Election participation is also another means to also prove to the whole world that, IPOB is the mouthpiece of the Biafran people.
Knowing fully well that the Caliphate has a death wish for the Biafrans, I think now is the time for IPOB to make a point in the Nigerian political space that, IF ANYONE CHALLENGES IPOB, THAT PERSON WILL DEFINITELY LOSE IN ANY ELECTION HE IS PARTICIPATING IN.
It is true that Atiku is a Fulani man but, a wise organization should understand that, sometimes you have to work with the enemy of your enemy in other to achieve success.
Atiku winning will definitely give us room to organize bigger protests unhindered which will put the UN under more pressure to consider the request of IPOB for a UN supervised referendum and also, it will lead to calls for a new Nigeria that is favorable to the Biafrans.
FINALLY
We need to ask ourselves the following questions:
1) How does election boycott gets us a UN supervised referendum and which example can we make reference to.?
2) If the presidency of any other person outside Buhari will make it possible for us to storm the streets for bigger unhindered protests, why not make it possible for that person to rise.?
CONCLUSION
Biafra being a Yahweh people, I will advice every Biafran to pray unto Yahweh for guidance on the best decision to take and until then, I plea that Nnamdi Kanu should not respond to Asari Dokunbo in public but pray first before discussing with Asari Dokunbo in secret and allow Asari Dokunbo idea to bear fruits in the interest of Biafran Democracy.
A wise leader will allow the ideas of his supporters to see the light of day in order to reinforce Democracy.
May Yahweh The God Of The Jews and Biafrans Guide Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB and Biafrans In Jesus Name Amen. |
Politics › Re: Asari Dokubo Slams Nnamdi Kanu Over 2019 Elections, Blasts 'Buhari Double' by Warship: 10:39am On Dec 04, 2018 |
gidgiddy: Sorry bro but you are wrong for the following reasons
(1) Whoever wins the Presidency will always send the Python after IPOB. OBJ sent the armed forces after Uwazuruike and MASSOB, so did GEJ to a lesser extent. So wether Buhari or Atiku or anyone else wins, they will always regard IPOB as a threat and send Python. That's how it is with all freedom fighting organisations in less developed countries
(2) Even if IPOB decided to be political and won every elective position in the SE/SS, they will still have to go to the National Assembly of Nigeria to ask for a referendum against 4 other zones and they will be voted down. So what's the point?
(3) You may think that the radio station and sit at home is leading nowhere but it has shown both the local authorities and the international community the incredible support IPOB enjoys amongst the people. Why do you think the international community rejected the Nigerian governments tagging IPOB a terrorist group?
(4) Nigeria is not structured in a way to play regional politics and the so called regions are only so on paper. Dokubo was busy listing separatist groups Such as Sien Fein of Northern Ireland, SNP of Scotland and CDP of Catalonia who all vote and play politics of their respective regions while seeking separation. What Dokubo does not realise is that Northern Ireland, Scotland are Catalonia are actual semi-autonomous Regions with their Regional Government and parliament, it pays to play politics there. The SE/SS are not Regions and are not even recognised by the constitution of Nigeria.
(5) note: there is no government that will not do what Buhari did especially in the face of such direct provocation by NK and the setting up of BSS. An Obasanjo would have done worse). Constituted authority cannot be messed with except through force, and IPOB has no force
This is barbaric thinking. What exactly did they do? They set up a radio station and used unkind language? Did they force anyone to listen to them? They set up Biafra secret service? Where they armed? Did they touch anybody? So The problem is just the name?
Only a barbarian would support military force on group of people that are unarmed and non violent.
I totally support election boycott, voting has not helped anybody in Nigeria for the last 20 years. The only thing voting has done is bring people who go on a 4 year looting spree. It is time for our people to forget disasterous politics of Nigeria that is designed to throw up charlatans focus on agitation for a referendum. People's power will get us referendum. We should agitate harder, come out in our numbers and demand a referendum!
TOTAL BOYCOTT OF ELECTIONS IN THE SE/SS IN 2019!! Anything in excess, most times becomes bad. Election boycott was to prove that IPOB is in charge. But now is the time for IPOB to allow someone who won't stop our peaceful protests to step into power. Atiku winning will definitely give us room to organize bigger protests which will put the UN under more pressure to consider the request of IPOB for a UN supervised referendum. |

Lajet: This is exactly what we sensible Igbo people have been saying to boycott 2019 general elections is not the option. No sensible person that live in Nigeria will support the call to boycott 2019 general elections. Nnamdi Kanu is only trying to prove a point that he is in control in all South-East
states he don't care what will happen after 2019 election when the declare Apc Members as the winners of all elective posts in all South East states because Apc members in South East must vote .
I'm very sure before Asari recorded this video he have spoke with Nnamdi kanu but due to arrogance he will never listen to Asari he believed that he is the supreme leader he have the final say. Ipob and Nnamdi Kanu have turned this biafra struggle as if they only one that can achieve it without other groups or individuals contribution. ipob have no good advisers.I keep on saying it the downfall of ipob will be due arrogance. You are not smart for concluding that NK is arrogant and might not had listened to Asari. Do you know if it is a game plan by the both of them to save IPOB any embarrassment of appearing hypocritical by using Asari Dokunbo as a spearhead of saying Election should not be boycotted.? Don't be surprised that NK and Asari planned this together knowing fully well that, Asari Dokunbo is well respected by the Igbos for saving NK. The few response on this thread and on YouTube is a proof that, many Biafrans are in support of Asari Dokunbo and that is why they are silent in order not to appear hypocritical before their adversaries. Many will quietly vote Atiku while holding firm to their Biafran ideology in the open. |

Rockyfancino: They are fighting for us. It's you people that say education is not good, no practical and others. Yet, lots of people can't afford private schools and the government doesn't care.
If Public universities should fall like the public sec & pry schools (you should check the public pry schs and see their conditions), only few people would be able to afford private versities.
I saw the public schools in Ekiti state, and I felt like crying for Nigeria. Schools with population less than 100 and fallen buildings. Parents can still afford private sec & pry schools, but will they be able to afford private universities?
This stupid government should step up to their responsibility for once. They can't even afford to pay #30k minimum wage, when SA is stepping up to 120k+ minimum wage. Shame to the useless government that embezzle our money. How much is ASUU demanding for and what is the % in respect to the Budget.? |

I have no problem with you guys having Biafra infact you guys have really suffered a lot under one Nigeria though others also have the fair share of the suffering . I am only saying the reality about how to achieve it.
See my advise is Ipobs should transform into a political group. By 2023, they should be matured enough to play regional politics. You guys don't need presidency so forget about national politics. If you elect credible candidate from councillor, local government chairman, house of assembly, reps, senate and governors, even if you are still under Nigeria, genuine plans will be going underground on how to achieve Biafra. Even this take years
If it is no Biafra no election, then you guys are on a long thing .
I have so many SE friends and we get along. Majority of the hatred between SE and SW are only on internet. In the real world, Rashidi is planning to weds Nkechi next weekend. You are not truly educated. Forcing yourself on a people is pure inferiority complex and that is why Biafra will be greater than Nigeria and other republics that will arise out of Nigeria. |

Only God knows who serves him as he wants. You Can Know Them Because Christ Said, By Their Fruits You Can Know Them. Fake Christians and Baby Christians Can Easily Be Identify, By Observing Their Attitudes In Order To Know If They Have The Habit Of Caring To Know God's Mind About All Issues/Things In Order To Live/React In Ways That Are Approved By God. Once A Christian Do Not Have The Attitude Of Caring To Know God's Mind In Order To Live/React The Way God Wants Him To, Take Note That You Are Dealing With Either A Fake Christian or Baby Christian. |

luvmijeje: The topic should be how to know a man who's not serving God?
The answer is simple. They don't hear from God. Someone who can't hear from God definitely can never be spiritual. They follow the teaching of men. They are unable to think independently. I disagree with you because Prophet Balaam do hear from God but never cared to react/live the way God wanted him to react/live. A true Christian is one who always care to find out from God His view about all matters including the smallest matter with the clear intention to respond exactly the way God wants him or her to respond. In Other Words A True Christian, Do Care To Know God's Mind About All Issues In Order To Live/React In Ways That Are Approved By God and Vice Versa For Fake Christians. |

theoldpretender: It was reasonable..the problem was, there was no way Government was going to be able to fund it. (That is what GEJ and the then labour minister eventually told them in 2013).Even now (our budget is N9 trillion for next year, and proposing we spend N3 trillion on just universites ....naa).
The problem is...this means raised fees. (which is something neither ASUU, nor government , nor the Nigerian people want.)
At the end of the day, ASUU would take a beaten down agreement, and the funding problem remains.
The sad thing...it is the poor who would suffer the effects. Rich and the middle class would just port to private universites....or go abroad.(and even some of the poor would do the same). proffemi where will FG get 3tr for just one sector.? |
Education › Re: ASUU Strike: Nigerian Govt Orders Universities To Implement ‘no Work, No Pay’ by Warship: 1:25pm On Dec 01, 2018 |
olujastro: Imagine how unreasonable and unrealistic ASUU's demands are. The 2009 budget was about N3trillion and ASUU alone was demanding a whole of Nigeria's budget in 2yrs for them alone. Crazy fellas Maybe NMA, NUT, NURTW, NRC, NTA, etc. should have all demanded for their own trillions and subsequently embarked on their own strike actions so that the entire country paralyses. And then ASUU members can go to Sango for health treatments.
ASUU's effrontery and needless annual strike actions is simply an evidence that power intoxicates and absolute power corrupts (a black man especially) proffemi put cost into consideration before you kill government. |
Education › Re: ASUU Strike: Nigerian Govt Orders Universities To Implement ‘no Work, No Pay’ by Warship: 10:55am On Dec 01, 2018 |
olujastro: Your response only reechoed the arrogance typical of ASUU members. You only succeeded in emphasising the importance of university education which is known the world over.
To show you the arrogance of ASUU, educational institutions at the primary and secondary levels don't embark on strike actions, unlike ASUU that has equated itself to a demigod body in Nigeria.
As if funding will 100% guarantee quality in the same Nigeria where some VCs have been charged for looting of public funds meant for improving university education.
You guys simply wanted to cash in on NLC planned strike then and the upcoming elections to arm-twist the govt.
I was a victim of your needless strike actions for 5yrs turned almost 6yrs at the University. I stand with government on this. Go back to work or go look for another "perfectly funded sector" to work with. Don't mind them. People do not want to understand that, public funds are limited and therefore, new ways of funding the universities must be discovered. |

proffemi: The above paints an unflattering picture of your comprehension of this problem. You think a student of, say engineering, who is paying $600 for an entire 5 years of engineering education is overstretched?!!! Guy, don't fall my hand nao. How much is minimum wage.? 18,500 multiples 60 months will give you N1.1m $600 × N350= N210,000 for just a child and do not forget that we have a maximum of 4 child policy which will make it N840,000 for a poor civil servant. What about feeding, clothing etc.? That is the big picture you aren't seeing. |
