Lokoja is a city in Nigeria. It lies at the confluence of the Niger and Benue rivers and is the capital of Kogi State.

While the Oworo, Bassa Nge and Nupe are indigenous to the area, other ethnic groups of Nigeria, including the Kupa-Nupe, Hausa, Ebira, Igala, Igbo, Bini/Edo, and Tiv have recently established themselves. Projected to be the third fastest growing African continent city between 2020 and 2025, with a 5.93% growth.

it's was listed a second class township by the 1917 township ordinance of the colonial administration. This shows that Lokoja is a old city.

Unfortunately you forgot to mention the Kakandas, that òyìnbó met by the riverside while oworo on on top of hill hill.
At the that time all the tribes you mentioned were not existing then.

How do we begin since some of us here take it for fun? We the youths need to pause and ponder and then apply our YOUTHFUL intelligence to think and make clever decisions even if we don't fully manifest in time for this election, before next election we are already a force. The reason why we are still like this is because we fail ourselves by shying away from things we need to do. Let's THINK, THINK,THINK and STRATEGIZE on how to move forward. Look at how creative, innovative and clever most of us are but still specialize in 1. Bring him down syndrome 2. Tribalism 3. If not me or us, no one else 4. APC or PDP 5. Lack of result oriented movements/plans 6. Caricatures, uninterested in national discourse etc.(No disrespect) For instance, NOT TOO YOUNG TO RUN BILL has recently been signed. That means we must be a force by next election. Our time is near.

[quote author=12Ebisco post=70679980]A former chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof Attahiru Jega, has mentioned that Nigeria needs competent leaders and not necessarily strong leaders.

According to Jega, an incompetent leader who is strong will end up destroying institutions.

The former INEC boss said this at the 58th Annual General Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association in Abuja on Monday, The Punch reports.

He said:

“What we require most are the competence and capacity of leaders to take decisions and be assertive in ensuring that those decisions are actually implemented. So, we have to be very careful in thinking that a strong leader can really help.

Let Donald Triump hear this, strong without compitency is nation's distruction.

IPOB's proscription and designation as a terrorist organization by the FG which was approved by Justice Kafarati, acting Chief Judge of the Federal High Court judge has now been officially gazetted by the FG. By virtue of this last step in a series of steps the provisions of the Terrorism Prevention Act, 2011 as amended have been fully complied with.

Anyone who advances the interest of IPOB domestically or in diaspora via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram will be caught by the extant provisions of this Act and will be deemed a supporter of terrorism. Please be guided. The punishments for violation is enshrined in sections 3 to 7 of the Terrorism Prevention Act of 2011 as amended. It ranges from 20 years in prison to life in prison.

If you are fingered as a supporter of IPOB, you will be entered into the DSS database of wanted terrorists and the foreign embassies, the foreign affairs ministers of all sovereign nation and the UN will be informed. You can be picked up at the Airport of any UN member nation. If you escape their Airports you will not escape any of Nigeria's International Airports.

Under UNSCR 1373, IPOB's designation as a terrorist organization can receive a blanket acceptance at the UN if Nigeria submits a copy of the official gazette to the UN with a cover letter from Nigeria's Permanent Representative to the UN.

[quote author=Dumaknesset post=57310493]When I say Igbos don't think things through, you would not believe me, so you have not thought about it, yet you want secession.

I am a lawyer and here is a legal dimension.

First note that all lands in Nigeria by virtue of the Land Use Act, 1978 is owned by the state, federal government and local government accordingly. Developed parts are owned by the state through the state governor, the undeveloped parts are owned by the local government, while those areas acquired by federal government are owned by the Federal government.

Individuals and even corporate organizations are mere tenants to the the real owners, the governments! hence, the issuance of cofo, consent, excision, ratifications et al.

Once a property is abandoned as it will be, when the biafrans bolt, the properties will revert to the real owners that is the state government, local government or federal government vide a legal principle called bona vacantia.

Hmmm...well in your case you are the guy snd she might end up becoming a Christian. But if she doesn't, there will be differences and clashed. Love is not enough to sustain a marriage. So you have to project fivd yrs down the line...ten years... . I was in love with a muslim guy at one point abd I saw in him a lot of things i wanted in a husband. But i thought about a lot of things like how would we bring up the children...will they be torn between being Christian or Muslim...would my husband and I be able to pray together...etc. and i knew i was never going to convert and so I moved on.
The moral of my story...weigh all the options before making ur decision.

Kolababe:
It is common for busty ladies to complain that being endowed with gigantic boobs is a burden, however actress Ejine Okoroafor in an interview with Punch, has said for her she is comfortable with it

When it comes to boobs, Ejine Okoroafor has it in abundance. The budding actress is so busty that every time she walks past, she is certain to cause men pain in the neck region.

Tall and fair-skinned, her ample bosom will make the self-acclaimed ‘boobs queen’ of Nollywood, Cossy Ojiakor, go green with envy.

However, unlike what many think that big boobs cause back pain for its owners, Ejine says she is perfectly pleased with the way God created her. In a chat with Sunday Scoop, she said, “The Bible says that God created me beautifully and wonderfully in His own image and I don’t have reason to complain. I am in love with myself and I thank God for blessing me this much.”

It was MAN that is created in God's image, and being a waste out of the man was made, therefore you are not created talk more being His image. Think well God is not a woman
