Family / Re: My 17yrs Old Son Is Getting Out Of Hand by wazobiang: 12:10pm On Jun 09, 2022
They are still young to be corrected. Believe me, I have two younger brothers who lost it like this at the ripe old age of 36 and 33. They are now fighting for land, my money and threatening my wife even though we raised them with loans and all our sweat missing out on a lot of luxury because of them.

So your 19 and 17 year old are just kids and there is still time to correct them. Talk to them, they don't really know what you are going through, because if they know they will help you and try to make you happy even though they would rather have things their own way.

So sorry for what you are going through.

A full human soul lost is not a small thing. It is actually illogical looking for consolation when someone dies. Wrong in fact. Just mourn your dead dad sha. He deserves it. It is the mourning that is the consolation in the end. Reflect on his life, who he was. Mourn him. Cheers. I have buried mom and dad plus one more so I know what I am saying. Treat the living well so that your can mourn them better if they go first. Cheers.

Travel / Re: Ethiopian Airlines Inaugurates All-female Crew Flight To Nigeria by wazobiang: 10:08am On Dec 18, 2017
Yep, inspiring women.
See Nigeria Celebrating Ethiopian women who threw a beastly contraption that we probably don't have the capacity to buy - mind we have the money - from Addis Ababa to Lagos. See Nigerians proud of a female that wanted to colour law with religion - God help non believers she will judge tomorrow. I also wonder what she thought they meant when they say that the law/justice is blind. Ok, well, blind to religion is one of them and other etcs are too.

Nigeria, be celebrating your confused females and other country's amazons. Do not encourage your females, encourage and celebrate other country's females. Only talk about gender sensitivity when you want to give loan, job and contract to your sisters, wives and relations.

Nigeria e!... just continue

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Why You Should Be An Employee by wazobiang: 9:29am On Sep 01, 2017
adexsng:
Despite the recent surge of articles on why you should be an entreprenuer, be your own boss, and all that...which is actually fine by some people, this write up is not to counter such articles but balance our lines of thought and consider some reasons why you just may prefer to be an employee.

1. Not every one is cut out for entreprenuership....Some people just love the 8-5, 30-days-make-a-pay lifestyle.

2. It is not a crime to be an employee. Some people just aspire to be a manager or a director in a blue chip company....I know of someone who rose from the bottom in UAC to the topmost position.

3. Employees get immense benefits e.g health scheme for you and your family, retirement pay, periodic local and foreign trainings/conferences, paid vacations...these are some great stuffs you may not afford yourself. Companies that offer these exists and you will love to work for them.

4. Less concern with the various governemtal agencies who keep knocking on you door for compliance/payment/regulation etc

5. Being an entreprenuer is not a guarantee that you will be rich or have all the time in the world. There are entreprenuers who, day in day out, do LOTS OF LOW PAY CHEQUE JOBS and never have the time or money.

6. Earn lots of money and invest for your old age.

Don't just save up money and jump into the sea of "being your own boss" without guidance. There are many sharks out there, so dont bleed.

Myopic rant. Am sorry if you are offended but business men of yesterday preached this your rubbish to the rest of the Nigerians who were salary earners.
Do you know that the problem of the government is looking for jobs for people. If a 10th of Nigerians open up their own businesses, there will not just be jobs but;
1. Peace
2. Security
3. Knowledge and with knowledge
4. Better polity
5. Better Governance
6. Less ritual killings
7. The list can go on.

Please do not post clueless nonsense on nairaland because you woke up and felt like it.
The US is filled with Small and Medium Scale businesses which the American government protects unconditionally and unquestionable even while seeming to be stern with them.

Setting up a business in Nigeria exposes you to fraudulent government officials while in the US you start to get tax rebates even of domestic and personal purchases.

Guy/Babe please go and educate yourself first before writing nonsense.

In fact if you have a salary job, you should do something on the side as a business.

I can go on and on.

Politics / Re: Ignore IPOB, You Are Safe In The North - Arewa Youths Tell Igbos by wazobiang: 6:43pm On Aug 27, 2017
Arewa Youths, you should have consulted before the initial "Igbo Must Go" directive. If you did you would have found out that Nnamdi Kanu is a god of the people that follow him, not of the Igbos. You would have found out that the boy is an efulefu. You waited to see that they boy was irritating the real igbo's before cancelling your initial directive. You are also wrong for being trigger happy. It is the poor people in Igboland that want hell. The rich people do not understand what the clamour is all about. The poor people want a fresh start so that they can kill and destroy successful people. Just siddon and watch as tsunami will carry the British Passport carrying monkeys into the water.
Crime / Re: Man Beats His Wife, Accuses Her Of Cheating (Disturbing Pics) by wazobiang: 9:49pm On Aug 15, 2017
She is just telling her own side of the story. The funny thing is that the man may not even be interested in this kind of internet gist. I wonder what makes a man start beating a woman he dated and loved enough to marry for the rest of his life. Then again he should not beat her, just pack her out of the house. Then again some men that beat their wife still want the woman because when they do not want the woman at all at all they change address - trust me I have seen that too.

I have also seen women that open their legs outside and because they were not yet caught red handed they claim all sorts and even try to make a fool of the man - man, this infuriates the beast in the man. But then again, he should not beat her, that's poor judgement.

As far as I am concerned, these two people have refused to live up to what they have signed up for. That's their cup of tea and not an internet story.

This moronic lawyer that always goes to the internet to spread husband and wife gist will one day get a taste of his own medicine.

Religion / Re: Is It A Sin To Have Sex With Wife On Sunday? by wazobiang: 10:02am On Aug 13, 2017
Poster.
Sidon there and be asking questions. If you have any experience with women you will know that they will have sex on the alter floor if they want it. I see a lot of confused Christians telling you it is a sin to make love with your lawfully wedded wife on a sunday. You better find out what the problem is and nip it in the bud before the real reason she does not want to have sex opens up in the future. This is a clear situation where, if you are not getting what you want you can raise hell.
I mean whats wrong with a quickie before you get ready for church, another when you come back and a marathon in the evening.

Let me tell you, Sundays is the day most married couple that work and have good social life fvck well well. Your own no go dey different.

Now that I am older, when I hear someone believe their shit I simply try to run faster and further away from madness which is what they are.

This MMM coming back will be to bury the remaining standing members. It will be the mother of all comebacks. It will be armageddon. It will be the finisher. It will be .. in fact it will be hooohaaaa! Gbam. Okwu agwusigo. Final. Shame!
It is beyond paying them. What about parties, celebration of the ladies that got us a national cup. Ronaldo, arguably one of the best players in the world, was in tears for winning a national football trophy for the first time in his life and they even named an airport after him.

You pay ladies that won a national trophy their due allowances and you want us to celebrate. Are we supposed to know that they were paid their allowances?

We are still working on it. That is what men do, work on it till they die, then the woman eye go clear. Nobody has found a solution yet.
Just protect your health and ensure you outlive her.
Usually that is how the devil uses wives to kill their husbands.
Protect your health because the next thing you will start having high blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol because she will not give you peace of mind, she will not cook good and healthy food and she will not give you time to exercies.

Thanks and God be with you.

And this woman swore "for better, for worse; in richness and in poverty, sickness and ill health" and all that stuff. And she's talking like this. Easy pickings for mister lecturer. Even if the lecturer was the devil himself, she wouldn't talk to him like this.

Mr. Lecturer, abeg waka, take your son, women plenty.

After 6 months, or when she born, her eye go clear say money no dey house wey dem for take chop and feed pikin.

Na so, When they have only money, dem go talk say money no be everything, when they have only children dem go say children no be everything. Na who go give you everything. Especially if you think so wickedly.

Nairalanders, so many of whom do not understand government, would not understand what Obasanjo just said. Government actually is for the people and makes people richer or poorer indirectly, or even directly. We all belong to government and government belongs to us. For madam Alakija to talk like this, it shows she is clueless on what made her rich. She should accept that she had it easy, borrow a leaf from Dangote - always respectful of past, present and future government even when he is into manufacturing and selling.

WHat a shame
