Let's just hope Shekau has a sense of humor.. Cos what this is, is actually triggering Boko Haram. I don't find it funny at all. As protected as the U.K has been they suffered terrorist attacks. What is South Africa? Who the Bleep does S.A think they are? I might not like South Africans right now but Terrorist attacks are nothing to joke with.. 4 Likes |

I'm for this Reciprocity Fee.. If it deters Nigerians from travelling there.. They should stay and build their country. Or better still, go to Canada where Nigerians are not profiled as much. I don tire to dey hear bad news. |

This is getting out of hand.. Nigeria is being fed to the dogs. What exactly is going on?! And foreign Media is doing their best to kick us while we are down. So, if This woman had won a Nobel prize, She would have been quoted as "British born by Nigerian Parents Wins Nobel prize" but as she don be criminal, She's Nigerian.. I don tire for this country sef.. |
Family / Re: I'm Worried About My Son's Behaviour. Is He Normal? by whizpa(m): 8:56am On Aug 21, 2019 |
Initially, I thought it was ADHD but after reading through the post, I guess not.. Based on all you've written, I reckon you might have yourself a little genius.. It's funny but from experience, that's usually the case.. I dunno why they do that but it seems like their minds are a level above the normal. They are always curious and often more than once, they tend to get carried away in their need-to-know..The trivial things like lacing their shoes, doing dishes, combing their hair don't matter matter to them.. But put them in a complex environment and you'll see how they thrive.. Try to get him involved in sports, Music or even Acting.. Depending on his interest.. If you feel he's just being stubborn then, There are several programs that help instill discipline in Kids. E. g., Judo Classes, Fencing, Kung-fu or even boarding or military school. Next time, when you catch him staring at something, try asking his opinion on it.. You may or may not like what you'll hear but at least you'll get to understand him. 1 Like |

Celebrities / Re: Uber Driver That Humiliated Khloe Narrates His Own Story by whizpa(m): 2:49pm On Jun 12, 2019 |
AnanseK: What exactly are you trying to say?! I know what 'generally' means.. It is often used to depict 'usually' and "most often or in most cases". "MOST" being the concrete word.. It is impossible for 9 out of 10(or even 8 out of 10) people to be impolite by default.. That's my argument. Based on your grammar.. The only thing you've managed to tell me is the meaning of "generally", which I already know. You probably had a second look to be sure you were correct. Seemed like you copied off the dictionary.. But it's cool. No judgement. My case; MOST Nigerians CANT BE IMPOLITE BY DEFAULT.. and it is my opinion as opposed to yours. I meet people everyday, and I know the only way they become rude is when they get triggered and that is 'MOST' likely because Nigerians are "generally" frustrated. See what I did there?! but still it is an opinion(A logical opinion), it still doesn't prove that I'm right nor does it mean I am wrong. Try to argue without trying to think everyone is a dunce.. Abeg, I'm tired.. if you have any hypothesis or proof to back up your statement, maybe then we can continue this conversation.. if not, I call truce. |
Celebrities / Re: Uber Driver That Humiliated Khloe Narrates His Own Story by whizpa(m): 11:48am On Jun 12, 2019 |
AnanseK: Alright then... But just because you are allowed to make an opinion doesn't mean you are right and it doesn't mean you are wrong either. The term 'generally' is the issue.. Statistically, that could mean 9 out of every 10 Nigerian.. That's a whole lot. Logic precedes arrogance.. Have yourself a wonderful day. 1 Like |

Didn't believe in this crap until a few years ago.. Ya know?! being a Christian, one is supposed to shun all these cultural and spiritual immorality. Quick story for those who doubt or are contemplating this ritual... So.. My uncle being a well travelled dude came back to the village he grew up to marry his long time girlfriend.. Though he met stiff opposition from his mum.. He insisted he MUST marry her or no one else. It took a while before his mum will come to terms with it but there were conditions.. And one of the conditions was for her to partake this ritual or something similar. Years later, He lost his job and things became really difficult for them, so he had to leave Abuja. He moved back home to Delta state but things didn't get better. The wife became the bread winner and to be honest, she never complained about her husband's lack of employment. But something was off. She was making too much money from her little kiosk. The husband knew it but was probably too scared to ask her. His mum who lived some distance away had been monitoring her and even confronted her many times both at the kiosk and at home. But she never replies her. She keeps quiet and let her rant. One day, The husband summoned the courage to ask her. She denied at first but later confessed to cheating when she realized that she couldn't keep up with the lies. My uncle called his mum and some 'Family Elders' to discuss the disturbing facts he had just learnt. They quickly reminded him of the tradition, of how he shouldn't eat whatever she cooks or share from the proceeds of her infidelity. My uncle laughed it off just like Mynd44 did. He claimed Jesus forgives and He has chosen to forgive his wife. He said his only reason for calling them was so they could call her to order. Fast forward about 8 months later He got separated from his wife, citing the same issue of infidelity. Just about a month after they got separated. He fell sick and died days after. A few weeks later. His wife also fell sick and died not too long after. Same fate befell their son just under a year later.. Unbeknownst to many young ladies, these traditions/rituals are bestowed upon them, especially those who marry into royal families. Some women are even aware but are too greedy to say NO. Be warned, if any man speaks to you about these nonsense tradition, then he doesn't love you. He's just protecting his investment. Only cowards and foolish men will partake of this.. Be guided. Don't say "I'm a Christian, I'm covered by the blood of Jesus". Or You're a Muslim, Allah will protect you. Our archaic traditions are still being practiced by people who refuse to grow with time. When you partake of their ritual or tradition. Then you best start believing what they believe in. Cheers! 10 Likes 2 Shares |

Car Talk / Re: 15 Toyota Models Specifically Built For Nigeria by whizpa(m): 7:23pm On May 19, 2019 |
I call BS on this list.. Those cars were not specifically built for Nigeria. They are DEFAULT models. If you go to other countries you will also find these cars. Like when the electric Yaris was first launched in the U.S, If it were made 'specifically' for Nigeria, then the electric Yaris would have been named something else. Nigeria does not have a specific Toyota model. We just take what they give us. If you see the UAE build of the Toyota Hilux, you will know we are being cheated in Nigeria. |

Kokoebapluse: This one is high on cheap skunk. Well, from what I was able to understand(which is entirely nothing), I can tell that you were never of another faith. I don't understand what you intend to gain by claiming you were once a Christian. Would that score you cheap points with Allah? Cos I'm aware of the art/acts of deception(Taqqiya). Anyway, being aggressive does not work these days.. If you are really desperate for converts then maybe you should try serenading people rather than come deceptively.. Lol And stop smoking. It is bad for your health. |

Yusman316: Saying Christians dodge some Bible instructions in the guise of peace/modernization might actually be right to an extent but still, you are wrong. The Bible contains the Old Testament which guided people of a certain time in history how to worship God, while The New Testament came in as an amendment for another era. And people realised the amendment was a good thing and was a lot better than the old era/ways in which people served God and they they embraced it. Normally, people would say, "Since we've found a better way, let's do away with the old ways", But you have to know that history is paramount to how we live our lives. The Bible is not a constitution, It is history and a Guideline to a perfect Christian life. I Don't have a problem with the Islamic practice, My religion has endeared me to living peacefully with people without trying to force or shove my beliefs on them. in your own words, wouldn't it be better if some verses in the Quran were done away with or reformed(for peace sake). I understand Muslim's believe any tamper on the Quran will perverse it, and that makes sense but c'mon.. every adjustment made is to better the life of people. Constitutions are rewritten in relativity with time. When your Quran was written, people rode camels but did that stop them from driving cars? NO. If in the Old Testament Christians saw fit to kill people who didn't share the same belief but then chose to live peacefully with them in The New Testament. Wouldn't you consider that as a good thing? Brother.. You spoke well but you have only manage to contradict yourself. pardon the epistle. |

My question is...... If the said Yahoo-boys stop listening to your music what difference would that make? Aren't you supposed to be the one who inspires them or help them change their ways? I'm sure she didn't think it through before uttering that nonsense. Simi should take a Cue from Falz's book on how to deal with these moral vices. I know she means well but if she continues with all these hormonal rants. She might end up upsetting the wrong people and that could be dangerous. |
